Masquil de Asaph. ¿POR qué, oh Dios, nos has desechado para siempre? ¿por qué ha humeado tu furor contra las ovejas de tu dehesa?
O God, why hast thou cast us off for ever? why doth thine anger smoke against the sheep of thy pasture?
God, why have you rejected us forever? Why does your anger smolder against the sheep of your pasture?
Gedenke deiner Gemeinde, die du vor alters erworben, an den Stamm deines Erbteils, den du erlöst hast, an den Berg Zion, darauf du Wohnung genommen!
Acuérdate de tu congregación, que adquiriste de antiguo, cuando redimiste la vara de tu heredad; este monte de Sión, donde has habitado.
Remember thy congregation, which thou hast purchased of old; the rod of thine inheritance, which thou hast redeemed; this mount Zion, wherein thou hast dwelt.
Remember your congregation, which you purchased of old, which you have redeemed to be the tribe of your inheritance: Mount Zion, in which you have lived.
Betritt den Ort, der beständig in Trümmern liegt! Alles hat der Feind im Heiligtum verderbt!
Levanta tus pies á los asolamientos eternos: á todo enemigo que ha hecho mal en el santuario.
Lift up thy feet unto the perpetual desolations; even all that the enemy hath done wickedly in the sanctuary.
Lift up your feet to the perpetual ruins, all the evil that the enemy has done in the sanctuary.
Deine Widersacher brüllen in deiner Versammlungsstätte; sie haben ihre Zeichen zum Panier aufgestellt.
Tus enemigos han bramado en medio de tus sinagogas: han puesto sus divisas por señas.
Thine enemies roar in the midst of thy congregations; they set up their ensigns for signs.
Your adversaries have roared in the middle of your assembly. They have set up their standards as signs.
Es sieht aus, als schwänge man oben im Dickicht des Waldes die Axt;
Cualquiera se hacía famoso según que había levantado el hacha sobre los gruesos maderos.
A man was famous according as he had lifted up axes upon the thick trees.
They behaved like men wielding axes, cutting through a thicket of trees.
und jetzt zerschlagen sie sein Schnitzwerk allzumal mit Beilen und Hämmern.
Y ahora con hachas y martillos han quebrado todas sus entalladuras.
But now they break down the carved work thereof at once with axes and hammers.
Now they break all its carved work down with hatchet and hammers.
Sie stecken dein Heiligtum in Brand, sie entweihen die Wohnung deines Namens und machen sie dem Erdboden gleich!
Han puesto á fuego tus santuarios, han profanado el tabernáculo de tu nombre echándolo á tierra.
They have cast fire into thy sanctuary, they have defiled by casting down the dwelling place of thy name to the ground.
They have burned your sanctuary to the ground. They have profaned the dwelling place of your Name.
Sie sprechen in ihren Herzen: «Laßt uns sie allesamt unterdrücken!» Sie verbrennen alle Versammlungsstätten Gottes im Lande.
Dijeron en su corazón: Destruyámoslos de una vez; han quemado todas las sinagogas de Dios en la tierra.
They said in their hearts, Let us destroy them together: they have burned up all the synagogues of God in the land.
They said in their heart, “We will crush them completely.” They have burned up all the places in the land where God was worshiped.
Unsere eigenen Zeichen sehen wir nicht; es ist kein Prophet mehr da, und niemand bei uns weiß, wie lange das dauern soll.
No vemos ya nuestras señales: no hay más profeta; ni con nosotros hay quien sepa hasta cuándo.
We see not our signs: there is no more any prophet: neither is there among us any that knoweth how long.
We see no miraculous signs. There is no longer any prophet, neither is there among us anyone who knows how long.
O Gott, wie lange darf der Widersacher schmähen? Soll der Feind deinen Namen immerfort lästern?
¿Hasta cuándo, oh Dios, el angustiador nos afrentará? ¿ha de blasfemar el enemigo perpetuamente tu nombre?
O God, how long shall the adversary reproach? shall the enemy blaspheme thy name for ever?

Warum ziehst du deine Hand zurück, deine Rechte? Ziehe sie hervor aus deinem Busen, vertilge!
¿Por qué retraes tu mano, y tu diestra? ¿por qué la escondes dentro de tu seno?
Why withdrawest thou thy hand, even thy right hand? pluck it out of thy bosom.
Why do you draw back your hand, even your right hand? Take it from your chest and consume them!
Und doch ist Gott mein König, der von alters her Sieg gab in diesem Land.
Empero Dios es mi rey ya de antiguo; el que obra saludes en medio de la tierra.
For God is my King of old, working salvation in the midst of the earth.

Du teiltest das Meer durch deine Kraft, zerschlugst die Köpfe der Krokodile am Wasser;

Thou didst divide the sea by thy strength: thou brakest the heads of the dragons in the waters.
You divided the sea by your strength. You broke the heads of the sea monsters in the waters.
du zerbrachst die Köpfe des Leviatans, du gabst ihn dem Volk der Wüstenbewohner zur Speise.
Tú magullaste las cabezas del leviathán; dístelo por comida al pueblo de los desiertos.
Thou brakest the heads of leviathan in pieces, and gavest him to be meat to the people inhabiting the wilderness.
You broke the heads of Leviathan in pieces. You gave him as food to people and desert creatures.
Du ließest Quellen und Bäche entspringen, legtest Ströme trocken, die sonst beständig fließen.
Tú abriste fuente y río; tú secaste ríos impetuosos.
Thou didst cleave the fountain and the flood: thou driedst up mighty rivers.
You opened up spring and stream. You dried up mighty rivers.
Dein ist der Tag, dein ist auch die Nacht, du hast das Licht und die Sonne bereitet.

The day is thine, the night also is thine: thou hast prepared the light and the sun.

Du hast alle Grenzen des Landes festgesetzt, Sommer und Winter hast du gemacht.

HERR, gedenke daran: Der Feind schmäht dich, und ein törichtes Volk lästert deinen Namen!
Acuérdate de esto: que el enemigo ha dicho afrentas á Jehová, y que el pueblo insensato ha blasfemado tu nombre.

No entregues á las bestias el alma de tu tórtola: y no olvides para siempre la congregación de tus afligidos.
O deliver not the soul of thy turtledove unto the multitude of the wicked: forget not the congregation of thy poor for ever.
Don’t deliver the soul of your dove to wild beasts. Don’t forget the life of your poor forever.

No olvides las voces de tus enemigos: el alboroto de los que se levantan contra ti sube continuamente.
Forget not the voice of thine enemies: the tumult of those that rise up against thee increaseth continually.
