Unto thee, O God, do we give thanks, unto thee do we give thanks: for that thy name is near thy wondrous works declare.
We give thanks to you, God. We give thanks, for your Name is near. Men tell about your wondrous works.
Dios dice: «Cuando yo lo decida, juzgaré al malvado.
Cuando yo tuviere tiempo, yo juzgaré rectamente.
When I shall receive the congregation I will judge uprightly.
When I choose the appointed time, I will judge blamelessly.
Cuando la tierra tiemble y todos sus habitantes vivan agitados, sus columnas estarán firmes porque yo soy quien las sostiene».
Arruinábase la tierra y sus moradores: yo sostengo sus columnas. (Selah.)

¡Advertí a los orgullosos que dejaran su arrogancia! Dije a los malvados que no fueran soberbios.
Dije á los insensatos: No os infatuéis; y á los impíos: No levantéis el cuerno:
I said unto the fools, Deal not foolishly: and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn:
I said to the arrogant, “Don’t boast!” I said to the wicked, “Don’t lift up the horn.
Que no levantaran su puño desafiando a los cielos o que hablaran con orgullo.
No levantéis en alto vuestro cuerno; no habléis con cerviz erguida.
Lift not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck.
Don’t lift up your horn on high. Don’t speak with a stiff neck.”
Porque nadie en la tierra, desde el este hasta el oeste ni aun en el desierto, puede enaltecer a nadie;
Porque ni de oriente, ni de occidente, ni del desierto viene el ensalzamiento.
For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.
For neither from the east, nor from the west, nor yet from the south, comes exaltation.
sino sólo Dios es el que juzga: a unos humilla y a otros enaltece.
Mas Dios es el juez: á éste abate, y á aquél ensalza.
But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.

En la mano del Señor hay una copa de espumante vino mezclado con especias; cuando él lo derrame, todos los malvados tendrán que beberlo hasta la suciedad del fondo.
Porque el cáliz está en la mano de Jehová, y el vino es tinto, lleno de mistura; y él derrama del mismo: ciertamente sus heces chuparán y beberán todos los impíos de la tierra.
For in the hand of the LORD there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he poureth out of the same: but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out, and drink them.
For in the LORD’s hand there is a cup, full of foaming wine mixed with spices. He pours it out. Indeed the wicked of the earth drink and drink it to its very dregs.
En cuanto a mí, eternamente proclamaré las alabanzas del Dios de Jacob.
