Unto thee, O God, do we give thanks, unto thee do we give thanks: for that thy name is near thy wondrous works declare.
We give thanks to you, God. We give thanks, for your Name is near. Men tell about your wondrous works.
O Senhor promete: “Na ocasião oportuna vou julgar com justiça os perversos.
Cuando yo tuviere tiempo, yo juzgaré rectamente.
When I shall receive the congregation I will judge uprightly.
When I choose the appointed time, I will judge blamelessly.
Mesmo que a terra trema, e seus moradores vivam em tumulto, eu manterei firmes as bases que sustentam o mundo!”

Muitas vezes avisei aos orgulhosos: “Não fiquem cheios de si!” Também disse aos que desprezaram a Deus: “Não pensem que vocês são mais fortes que Deus!

Não se rebelem contra os céus, fazendo pouco caso do Senhor”.
No levantéis en alto vuestro cuerno; no habléis con cerviz erguida.
Lift not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck.

A força e a ajuda não vêm do oriente nem do ocidente.
Porque ni de oriente, ni de occidente, ni del desierto viene el ensalzamiento.
For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.
For neither from the east, nor from the west, nor yet from the south, comes exaltation.
Deus é quem julga os homens, dando força e poder a uns, e destruindo a outros.
Mas Dios es el juez: á éste abate, y á aquél ensalza.

Na mão do Senhor há uma taça, cheia de um vinho forte espumante. É a taça de seu julgamento, da qual os perversos beberão até a última gota.
