(076-5) Glanzvoll bist du, Mächtiger, wegen der Berge von Beute die du gemacht!
Ilustre eres tú; fuerte, más que los montes de caza.
Thou art more glorious and excellent than the mountains of prey.

(076-6) Die Tapfern mußten sich ausplündern lassen; sie sanken in Schlaf, und den Kriegsleuten versagten die Hände.
Los fuertes de corazón fueron despojados, durmieron su sueño; y nada hallaron en sus manos todos los varones fuertes.
The stouthearted are spoiled, they have slept their sleep: and none of the men of might have found their hands.
Valiant men lie plundered, they have slept their last sleep. None of the men of war can lift their hands.
(076-7) Von deinem Schelten, o Gott Jakobs, wurden Roß und Reiter betäubt!

(076-8) Du bist zu fürchten, und wer kann vor deinem Angesicht bestehen, wenn dein Zorn entbrennt?
Tú, terrible eres tú: ¿y quién parará delante de ti, en comenzando tu ira?
Thou, even thou, art to be feared: and who may stand in thy sight when once thou art angry?
You, even you, are to be feared. Who can stand in your sight when you are angry?
(076-9) Als du das Urteil vom Himmel erschallen ließest, da erschrak die Erde und hielt sich still,
Desde los cielos hiciste oir juicio; la tierra tuvo temor y quedó suspensa,
Thou didst cause judgment to be heard from heaven; the earth feared, and was still,

(076-10) als sich Gott zum Gericht erhob, zu retten alle Elenden im Lande. (Pause.)

(076-11) Denn der Zorn des Menschen wird dir zum Lobpreis, daß du dich zuletzt mit Zornesflammen gürtest.

Surely the wrath of man shall praise thee: the remainder of wrath shalt thou restrain.

(076-12) Tut Gelübde und bezahlt sie dem HERRN, eurem Gott; von allen Seiten soll man dem Furchtbaren Geschenke bringen!
Prometed, y pagad á Jehová vuestro Dios: todos los que están alrededor de él, traigan presentes al Terrible.
Vow, and pay unto the LORD your God: let all that be round about him bring presents unto him that ought to be feared.
Make vows to the LORD your God, and fulfill them! Let all of his neighbors bring presents to him who is to be feared.
(076-13) Er beschneidet den Mut der Fürsten und ist furchtbar den Königen auf Erden.
Cortará él el espíritu de los príncipes: terrible es á los reyes de la tierra.
He shall cut off the spirit of princes: he is terrible to the kings of the earth.
