A travers la mer passa ton chemin, Et tes sentiers à travers les grandes eaux ; Et tes traces ne furent point reconnues.

En la mar fué tu camino, y tus sendas en las muchas aguas; y tus pisadas no fueron conocidas.

Thy way is in the sea, and thy path in the great waters, and thy footsteps are not known.

Your way was through the sea, your paths through the great waters. Your footsteps were not known.
