Lesquelles nous avons ouïes et connues, et que nos pères nous on racontées.

Et qu’ils ne fussent point, comme leurs pères, une génération revêche et rebelle, une génération qui n’a point soumis son coeur, et l’esprit de laquelle n’a point été fidèle au Dieu Fort.

E hizo llover sobre ellos carne como polvo, y aves de alas como arena de la mar.
He rained flesh also upon them as dust, and feathered fowls like as the sand of the sea:

Et il la fit tomber au milieu de leur camp, et autour de leurs pavillons.
E hízolas caer en medio de su campo, alrededor de sus tiendas.
And he let it fall in the midst of their camp, round about their habitations.

The wrath of God came upon them, and slew the fattest of them, and smote down the chosen men of Israel.

Nonobstant cela, ils péchèrent encore, et n’ajoutèrent point de foi à ses merveilles.

C’est pourquoi il consuma soudainement leurs jours, et leurs années promptement.

Quand il les mettait à mort, alors ils le recherchaient, ils se repentaient, et ils cherchaient le Dieu Fort dès le matin.

Et ils se souvenaient que Dieu était leur rocher, et que le Dieu Fort et Souverain était celui qui les délivrait.
