Dem Vorsänger, nach Schoschannim-Eduth. Von Asaph, ein Psalm. Hirte Israels, nimm zu Ohren! Der du Joseph leitest wie eine Herde, der du thronst zwischen den Cherubim, strahle hervor!

Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, thou that leadest Joseph like a flock; thou that dwellest between the cherubims, shine forth.

Hear us, Shepherd of Israel, you who lead Joseph like a flock, you who sit above the cherubim, shine out.
