Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, thou that leadest Joseph like a flock; thou that dwellest between the cherubims, shine forth.
Hear us, Shepherd of Israel, you who lead Joseph like a flock, you who sit above the cherubim, shine out.
Hirte Israels, nimm zu Ohren, der du Joseph leitest wie eine Herde, der du thronst zwischen den Cherubim, strahle hervor!
Despierta tu valentía delante de Ephraim, y de Benjamín, y de Manasés, y ven á salvarnos.

Thou feedest them with the bread of tears; and givest them tears to drink in great measure.
