Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, thou that leadest Joseph like a flock; thou that dwellest between the cherubims, shine forth.
Hear us, Shepherd of Israel, you who lead Joseph like a flock, you who sit above the cherubim, shine out.
Perante Efraim, Benjamim e Manassés, desperta o Teu poder, vem e salva-nos.
Despierta tu valentía delante de Ephraim, y de Benjamín, y de Manasés, y ven á salvarnos.

Tu os alimentaste com pão de lágrimas e deste-lhes grande quantidade de lágrimas para beber.
Dísteles á comer pan de lágrimas, y dísteles á beber lágrimas en gran abundancia.
Thou feedest them with the bread of tears; and givest them tears to drink in great measure.
You have fed them with the bread of tears, and given them tears to drink in large measure.
Tu nos colocaste por objeto de disputa para os nossos vizinhos, e nossos inimigos caçoam de nós entre si.
Pusístenos por contienda á nuestros vecinos: y nuestros enemigos se burlan entre sí.

O javali da floresta as destrói, e os animais selvagens do campo alimentam-se delas.
Estropeóla el puerco montés, y pacióla la bestia del campo.
The boar out of the wood doth waste it, and the wild beast of the field doth devour it.

Volta-Te, ó Deus dos Exércitos; olha do céu abaixo, vê e cuida dessa videira.

Return, we beseech thee, O God of hosts: look down from heaven, and behold, and visit this vine;

Esta é a raiz que a Tua mão direita plantou, o broto que fizeste crescer.
Y la planta que plantó tu diestra, y el renuevo que para ti corroboraste.
And the vineyard which thy right hand hath planted, and the branch that thou madest strong for thyself.

Ela está queimada e cortada; que todos os Teus inimigos pereçam, por causa da Tua repreensão.
Quemada á fuego está, asolada: perezcan por la reprensión de tu rostro.

Que a Tua mão esteja sobre o homem que está à Tua direta, sobre o filho do homem que fortaleceste para Ti.

Let thy hand be upon the man of thy right hand, upon the son of man whom thou madest strong for thyself.

Então, não nos afastaremos de Ti; vivifica-nos, e invocaremos o Teu nome.
