Deus nos ordenou essas festas para lembrarmos como ele destruiu os exércitos do Egito e nos tirou da escravidão. Foi então que Deus falou ao povo numa linguagem nova, dizendo:

Por testimonio en José lo ha constituído, cuando salió por la tierra de Egipto; donde oí lenguaje que no entendía.

This he ordained in Joseph for a testimony, when he went out through the land of Egypt: where I heard a language that I understood not.

He appointed it in Joseph for a covenant, when he went out over the land of Egypt, I heard a language that I didn’t know.
