Entonen una canción y toquen la pandereta, la dulce lira y el arpa.
Tomad la canción, y tañed el adufe, el arpa deliciosa con el salterio.
Take a psalm, and bring hither the timbrel, the pleasant harp with the psaltery.
Raise a song, and bring here the tambourine, the pleasant lyre with the harp.
Toquen la trompeta en la luna nueva, y en la luna llena, en nuestro día de fiesta.
Tocad la trompeta en la nueva luna, en el día señalado, en el día de nuestra solemnidad.
Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed, on our solemn feast day.

Porque este es un estatuto para Israel, una ordenanza del Dios de Jacob.

Lo estableció como un testimonio para José, cuando salió contra la tierra de Egipto. Allí escuché una voz que no conocía, que decía:
Por testimonio en José lo ha constituído, cuando salió por la tierra de Egipto; donde oí lenguaje que no entendía.
This he ordained in Joseph for a testimony, when he went out through the land of Egypt: where I heard a language that I understood not.

“Quité la carga de sus hombros; sus manos quedaron libres de los canastos.

Thou calledst in trouble, and I delivered thee; I answered thee in the secret place of thunder: I proved thee at the waters of Meribah. Selah.

Escucha, pueblo mío, y te lo advertiré; ¡ay, Israel, si tan solo me escucharas!
Oye, pueblo mío, y te protestaré. Israel, si me oyeres,
Hear, O my people, and I will testify unto thee: O Israel, if thou wilt hearken unto me;
“Hear, my people, and I will testify to you, Israel, if you would listen to me!
No tendrás ningún dios extranjero en medio de ti, ni te inclinarás ante ningún dios extraño.
No habrá en ti dios ajeno, ni te encorvarás á dios extraño.
There shall no strange god be in thee; neither shalt thou worship any strange god.
There shall be no strange god in you, neither shall you worship any foreign god.
Yo soy Yahvé, tu Dios, que te sacó de la tierra de Egipto. Abre bien tu boca, y yo la llenaré.
Yo soy Jehová tu Dios, que te hice subir de la tierra de Egipto: ensancha tu boca, y henchirla he.
I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.

Pero mi pueblo no quiso escuchar mi voz; Israel no quiso saber nada de mí.
Mas mi pueblo no oyó mi voz, é Israel no me quiso á mí.
But my people would not hearken to my voice; and Israel would none of me.
But my people didn’t listen to my voice. Israel desired none of me.
Así que los abandoné a la terquedad de su corazón, para que siguieran sus propios consejos.
Dejélos por tanto á la dureza de su corazón: caminaron en sus consejos.
So I gave them up unto their own hearts’ lust: and they walked in their own counsels.
So I let them go after the stubbornness of their hearts, that they might walk in their own counsels.
¡Si tan solo mi pueblo me escuchara! ¡Si Israel siguiera mis caminos!
¡Oh, si me hubiera oído mi pueblo, si en mis caminos hubiera Israel andado!
Oh that my people had hearkened unto me, and Israel had walked in my ways!
Oh that my people would listen to me, that Israel would walk in my ways!
¡Qué pronto sometería yo a sus enemigos, y volvería mi mano contra sus adversarios!
En una nada habría yo derribado sus enemigos, y vuelto mi mano sobre sus adversarios.
I should soon have subdued their enemies, and turned my hand against their adversaries.

Los que odian a Yahvé se acobardarían ante él, y su castigo duraría para siempre.
Los aborrecedores de Jehová se le hubieran sometido; y el tiempo de ellos fuera para siempre.
The haters of the LORD should have submitted themselves unto him: but their time should have endured for ever.
The haters of the LORD would cringe before him, and their punishment would last forever.
Pero a ti te alimentaría con el mejor trigo; te saciaría con miel de la roca”.
Y Dios lo hubiera mantenido de grosura de trigo: y de miel de la piedra te hubiera saciado.
He should have fed them also with the finest of the wheat: and with honey out of the rock should I have satisfied thee.
