Sing aloud unto God our strength: make a joyful noise unto the God of Jacob.

Cantemos con el acompañamiento de pandereta; y de la melodiosa lira y el arpa.
Tomad la canción, y tañed el adufe, el arpa deliciosa con el salterio.
Take a psalm, and bring hither the timbrel, the pleasant harp with the psaltery.
Raise a song, and bring here the tambourine, the pleasant lyre with the harp.
¡Hagamos sonar la trompeta! Vayamos a las fiestas sagradas en tiempo de luna llena, en tiempos de luna nueva.
Tocad la trompeta en la nueva luna, en el día señalado, en el día de nuestra solemnidad.
Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed, on our solemn feast day.

Porque así lo mandan las leyes de Israel; es una ley del Dios de Jacob.

Él hizo que fuera una orden para Israel, cuando hirió a Egipto para liberarnos. Oí una voz desconocida que decía:
Por testimonio en José lo ha constituído, cuando salió por la tierra de Egipto; donde oí lenguaje que no entendía.
This he ordained in Joseph for a testimony, when he went out through the land of Egypt: where I heard a language that I understood not.
He appointed it in Joseph for a covenant, when he went out over the land of Egypt, I heard a language that I didn’t know.
«Ahora aliviaré tu hombro de su carga; liberaré tus manos de sus pesadas tareas».
Aparté su hombro de debajo de la carga; sus manos se quitaron de vasijas de barro.

Thou calledst in trouble, and I delivered thee; I answered thee in the secret place of thunder: I proved thee at the waters of Meribah. Selah.

Escúchame, pueblo mío, mientras te doy serias advertencias: ¡Ay Israel, si tan sólo me escucharas!
Oye, pueblo mío, y te protestaré. Israel, si me oyeres,
Hear, O my people, and I will testify unto thee: O Israel, if thou wilt hearken unto me;
“Hear, my people, and I will testify to you, Israel, if you would listen to me!
No tendrás ningún dios extranjero, ni te inclinarás ante ningún dios extraño.
No habrá en ti dios ajeno, ni te encorvarás á dios extraño.
There shall no strange god be in thee; neither shalt thou worship any strange god.
There shall be no strange god in you, neither shall you worship any foreign god.
Yo soy el Señor tu Dios, quien te sacó de la tierra de Egipto. ¡Pruébame! Abre bien la boca, y verás si no la lleno. ¡Recibirás toda la bendición que necesites!
Yo soy Jehová tu Dios, que te hice subir de la tierra de Egipto: ensancha tu boca, y henchirla he.
I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.

¡Pero no, mi pueblo no quiere oír! Israel no me quiere a su lado.
Mas mi pueblo no oyó mi voz, é Israel no me quiso á mí.
But my people would not hearken to my voice; and Israel would none of me.
But my people didn’t listen to my voice. Israel desired none of me.
Entonces los entregué a su ceguera y necedad, a que vivieran como mejor les pareciera.
Dejélos por tanto á la dureza de su corazón: caminaron en sus consejos.
So I gave them up unto their own hearts’ lust: and they walked in their own counsels.
So I let them go after the stubbornness of their hearts, that they might walk in their own counsels.
Si mi pueblo tan sólo me escuchara, si Israel quisiera andar por mis caminos.
¡Oh, si me hubiera oído mi pueblo, si en mis caminos hubiera Israel andado!
Oh that my people had hearkened unto me, and Israel had walked in my ways!
Oh that my people would listen to me, that Israel would walk in my ways!
¡Con qué rapidez sometería yo a sus enemigos! ¡Qué pronto caerían mis manos sobre los que están en su contra!
En una nada habría yo derribado sus enemigos, y vuelto mi mano sobre sus adversarios.

Los que odian al Señor se humillarían ante él, su desolación sería eterna.
Los aborrecedores de Jehová se le hubieran sometido; y el tiempo de ellos fuera para siempre.
The haters of the LORD should have submitted themselves unto him: but their time should have endured for ever.
The haters of the LORD would cringe before him, and their punishment would last forever.
Pero a ti te daría él los más ricos manjares. Te daría miel de la peña hasta dejarte satisfecho».
Y Dios lo hubiera mantenido de grosura de trigo: y de miel de la piedra te hubiera saciado.
