Dios ocupa su lugar en la asamblea divina; en medio de los dioses él dicta sentencia:
Salmo de Asaph. DIOS está en la reunión de los dioses; en medio de los dioses juzga.
God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.
God presides in the great assembly. He judges among the gods.
“¿Hasta cuándo juzgarán injustamente, y favorecerán a los malvados? Selah.
¿Hasta cuándo juzgaréis injustamente, y aceptaréis las personas de los impíos? (Selah.)
How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.
“How long will you judge unjustly, and show partiality to the wicked?” Selah.
Defiendan la causa del débil y del huérfano; mantengan los derechos de los pobres y oprimidos.
Defended al pobre y al huérfano: haced justicia al afligido y al menesteroso.
Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.
“Defend the weak, the poor, and the fatherless. Maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed.
Rescaten a los débiles y necesitados; líbrenlos de las manos de los malvados”.
Librad al afligido y al necesitado: libradlo de mano de los impíos.
Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.
Rescue the weak and needy. Deliver them out of the hand of the wicked.”
Pero ellos no saben ni entienden nada. Caminan a ciegas en la oscuridad; ¡todos los cimientos de la tierra se tambalean!
No saben, no entienden, andan en tinieblas: vacilan todos los cimientos de la tierra.
They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.
They don’t know, neither do they understand. They walk back and forth in darkness. All the foundations of the earth are shaken.
Yo les dije: “Ustedes son dioses, todos ustedes son hijos del Altísimo.
Yo dije: Vosotros sois dioses, é hijos todos vosotros del Altísimo.
I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.
I said, “You are gods, all of you are sons of the Most High.
Sin embargo, morirán como cualquier mortal; caerán como cualquier otro gobernante”.
Empero como hombres moriréis, y caeréis como cualquiera de los tiranos.
But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.
Nevertheless you shall die like men, and fall like one of the rulers.”
¡Levántate, oh Dios, y juzga a la tierra, porque todas las naciones te pertenecen!
Levántate, oh Dios, juzga la tierra: porque tú heredarás en todas las gentes.
Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations.
Arise, God, judge the earth, for you inherit all of the nations.
