Cantique et Psaume d'Asaph.

Salmo de Asaph. DIOS está en la reunión de los dioses; en medio de los dioses juzga.

God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.

God presides in the great assembly. He judges among the gods.

O Dieu, qui sera semblable à toi ? Ne garde point le silence, ô Dieu, ne te tiens pas en repos.

¿Hasta cuándo juzgaréis injustamente, y aceptaréis las personas de los impíos? (Selah.)

How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.

“How long will you judge unjustly, and show partiality to the wicked?” Selah.

Car voilà que tes ennemis ont crié, et que ceux qui te haïssent ont levé la tête.

Defended al pobre y al huérfano: haced justicia al afligido y al menesteroso.

Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.

“Defend the weak, the poor, and the fatherless. Maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed.

Ils ont formé de perfides conseils, ils ont conspiré contre tes saints ;

Librad al afligido y al necesitado: libradlo de mano de los impíos.

Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.

Rescue the weak and needy. Deliver them out of the hand of the wicked.”

Ils ont dit : Venez, et bouleversons-les ; qu'ils ne soient plus une nation, et que l'on ne se souvienne plus du nom d'Israël.

No saben, no entienden, andan en tinieblas: vacilan todos los cimientos de la tierra.

They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.

They don’t know, neither do they understand. They walk back and forth in darkness. All the foundations of the earth are shaken.

Ils ont délibéré unanimement ; ils ont fait ensemble alliance contre toi :

Yo dije: Vosotros sois dioses, é hijos todos vosotros del Altísimo.

I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.

I said, “You are gods, all of you are sons of the Most High.

Les tentes des Iduméens, et les Ismaélites, et Moab, et les Agaréniens,

Empero como hombres moriréis, y caeréis como cualquiera de los tiranos.

But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.

Nevertheless you shall die like men, and fall like one of the rulers.”

Et Gébal, et Ammon, et Amalec, et les étrangers avec les habitants de Tyr ;

Levántate, oh Dios, juzga la tierra: porque tú heredarás en todas las gentes.

Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations.

Arise, God, judge the earth, for you inherit all of the nations.

Assur aussi est venu avec eux ; ils sont les champions des fils de Lot.

Fais-leur comme à Madian et Sisara, et comme à Jabin au torrent de Cison.

Ils furent détruits à Endor ; ils devinrent comme le fumier de la terre.

Traite leurs princes comme Oreb et Zeb, et Zébée et Salmana, tous leurs princes,

Qui ont dit : Possédons en héritage le sanctuaire de Dieu.

Mon Dieu, fais qu'ils soient comme une roue, comme la paille devant la face du vent.

Tel un feu brûle la forêt ; telle une flamme incendie les montagnes :

Ainsi tu les poursuis de ta tempête, et tu les trouble en ta colère.

Remplis leur face d'ignominie, et ils cherchent ton nom, Seigneur.

—

Qu'ils rougissent de honte et soient remplis de trouble dans les siècles des siècles ; qu'ils soient confondus, et qu'ils périssent.

Et qu'ils connaissent que ton nom est le Seigneur, et que seul tu es le Très-Haut sur toute la terre.
