Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God.
God, don’t keep silent. Don’t keep silent, and don’t be still, God.
Ya ves cuánto ruido meten tus enemigos, y cómo andan con la cabeza erguida los que te aborrecen.
Porque he aquí que braman tus enemigos; y tus aborrecedores han alzado cabeza.
For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head.
For, behold, your enemies are stirred up. Those who hate you have lifted up their heads.
Urdieron contra tu pueblo malvados designios, y han maquinado contra tus santos.
Sobre tu pueblo han consultado astuta y secretamente, y han entrado en consejo contra tus escondidos.
They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones.
They conspire with cunning against your people. They plot against your cherished ones.
Venid, dijeron, y borremos esa gente de la lista de las naciones, y no quede más memoria del nombre de Israel.
Han dicho: Venid, y cortémoslos de ser pueblo, y no haya más memoria del nombre de Israel.
They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.
“Come,” they say, “let’s destroy them as a nation, that the name of Israel may be remembered no more.”
Por este motivo todos unánimes se han coligado; a una se han confederado contra ti
Por esto han conspirado de corazón á una, contra ti han hecho liga;
For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee:

los pabellones de los idumeos y los ismaelitas, Moab y los agarenos,

Se unió también con ellos el asirio, y lo hizo auxiliador de los hijos de Lot.
También el Assur se ha juntado con ellos: son por brazo á los hijos de Lot. (Selah.)

Pero tú, Señor, haz con ellos lo que con los madianitas y con Sísara, lo mismo que con Jabín en el torrente de Cisón.

Perecieron ellos en Endor; vinieron a parar en ser estiércol para la tierra.

los cuales han dicho: Apoderémonos del santuario de Dios como heredad que nos pertenece.

Who said, Let us take to ourselves the houses of God in possession.

Agítalos, ¡oh Dios mío!, como a una rueda, o como la hojarasca al soplo del viento;

como fuego que abrasa una selva, cual llama que devora los montes,
Como fuego que quema el monte, como llama que abrasa las breñas.
As the fire burneth a wood, and as the flame setteth the mountains on fire;
As the fire that burns the forest, as the flame that sets the mountains on fire,
así los perseguirás con el soplo de tu tempestad, y en medio de tu ira los aterrarás.
Persíguelos así con tu tempestad, y asómbralos con tu torbellino.
So persecute them with thy tempest, and make them afraid with thy storm.

Cubre sus rostros de ignominia; que así, ¡oh Señor!, reconocerán tu Nombre.
Llena sus rostros de vergüenza; y busquen tu nombre, oh Jehová.
Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek thy name, O LORD.

Que se avergüencen, y sean conturbados para siempre; queden corridos, y perezcan.

Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yea, let them be put to shame, and perish:

Y conozcan que te es propio el nombre del Señor, y que sólo tú eres el Altísimo en toda la tierra.
Y conozcan que tu nombre es JEHOVÁ; tú solo Altísimo sobre toda la tierra.
That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth.
that they may know that you alone, whose name is the LORD, are the Most High over all the earth.
