Poiché un giorno ne’ tuoi cortili val meglio che mille altrove. Io vorrei piuttosto starmene sulla soglia della casa del mio Dio, che abitare nelle tende degli empi.

Porque mejor es un día en tus atrios que mil fuera de ellos: escogería antes estar á la puerta de la casa de mi Dios, que habitar en las moradas de maldad.

For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.
