To the chief musician, by the sons of Korach, a psalm.(85:2) Thou hast been favorable, O Lord, unto thy land: thou hast brought back the captivity of Jacob.
Al Músico principal: Salmo para los hijos de Coré. FUISTE propicio á tu tierra, oh Jehová: volviste la cautividad de Jacob.
LORD, thou hast been favourable unto thy land: thou hast brought back the captivity of Jacob.

(85:3) Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people: thou hast covered over all their sin. Selah.
Perdonaste la iniquidad de tu pueblo; todos los pecados de ellos cubriste. (Selah.)

(85:4) Thou hast taken away all thy wrath: thou hast relinquished the fierceness of thy anger.
Dejaste toda tu saña: te volviste de la ira de tu furor.
Thou hast taken away all thy wrath: thou hast turned thyself from the fierceness of thine anger.
You have taken away all your wrath. You have turned from the fierceness of your anger.
(85:5) Return to us, O God of our salvation, and cause thy illwill toward us to cease.
Vuélvenos, oh Dios, salud nuestra, y haz cesar tu ira de sobre nosotros.
Turn us, O God of our salvation, and cause thine anger toward us to cease.

(85:6) Wilt thou be wroth with us for ever? wilt thou extend thy anger from generation to generation?
¿Estarás enojado contra nosotros para siempre? ¿extenderás tu ira de generación en generación?
Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? wilt thou draw out thine anger to all generations?
Will you be angry with us forever? Will you draw out your anger to all generations?
(85:7) Wilt thou not now revive us again, that thy people may rejoice in thee?
¿No volverás tú á darnos vida, y tu pueblo se alegrará en ti?

(85:8) Show us thy kindness, O Lord, and grant us thy salvation.
Muéstranos, oh Jehová, tu misericordia, y danos tu salud.
Shew us thy mercy, O LORD, and grant us thy salvation.
Show us your loving kindness, LORD. Grant us your salvation.
(85:9) I will hear what God the Lord will speak; for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his pious ones: only let them not turn again to folly.
Escucharé lo que hablará el Dios Jehová: porque hablará paz á su pueblo y á sus santos, para que no se conviertan á la locura.

(85:10) Surely, nigh is his salvation unto those that fear him: that glory may dwell in our land.
Ciertamente cercana está su salud á los que le temen; para que habite la gloria en nuestra tierra.

(85:11) Kindness and truth are met together: righteousness and peace kiss each other.
La misericordia y la verdad se encontraron: la justicia y la paz se besaron.
Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.

(85:12) Truth will grow up out of the earth, and righteousness will look down from heaven.
La verdad brotará de la tierra; y la justicia mirará desde los cielos.

(85:13) Yea, the Lord will also give the good, and our land will yield its products.

(85:14) Righteousness will walk firmly before him, and will make level the way by its steps.
La justicia irá delante de él; y sus pasos pondrá en camino.
Righteousness shall go before him; and shall set us in the way of his steps.
