LORD, thou hast been favourable unto thy land: thou hast brought back the captivity of Jacob.
LORD, you have been favorable to your land. You have restored the fortunes of Jacob.
Du hast zwar, HERR, deinem Lande Gnade gewährt,</title> hast Jakobs Mißgeschick gewendet,
Perdonaste la iniquidad de tu pueblo; todos los pecados de ellos cubriste. (Selah.)
Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people, thou hast covered all their sin. Selah.

hast deinem Volke die Schuld vergeben und all seine Sünde zugedeckt, SELA;
Dejaste toda tu saña: te volviste de la ira de tu furor.
Thou hast taken away all thy wrath: thou hast turned thyself from the fierceness of thine anger.

hast deinem ganzen Groll entsagt, von der Glut deines Zorns dich abgewandt:
Vuélvenos, oh Dios, salud nuestra, y haz cesar tu ira de sobre nosotros.
Turn us, O God of our salvation, and cause thine anger toward us to cease.

stell uns nun aber auch wieder her, du Gott unsers Heils, und laß deinen Unmut gegen uns schwinden!
¿Estarás enojado contra nosotros para siempre? ¿extenderás tu ira de generación en generación?
Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? wilt thou draw out thine anger to all generations?

Willst du denn unversöhnlich gegen uns zürnen und deinen Zorn fortdauern lassen für und für?
¿No volverás tú á darnos vida, y tu pueblo se alegrará en ti?

Willst du uns nicht wieder neu beleben, daß dein Volk sich deiner mag freuen?
Muéstranos, oh Jehová, tu misericordia, y danos tu salud.
Shew us thy mercy, O LORD, and grant us thy salvation.
Show us your loving kindness, LORD. Grant us your salvation.
Laß uns schauen, o HERR, deine Gnade und gewähre uns dein Heil!
Escucharé lo que hablará el Dios Jehová: porque hablará paz á su pueblo y á sus santos, para que no se conviertan á la locura.

Ciertamente cercana está su salud á los que le temen; para que habite la gloria en nuestra tierra.

daß Gnade und Treue einander begegnen, Gerechtigkeit und Friede sich küssen.
La verdad brotará de la tierra; y la justicia mirará desde los cielos.

Die Treue wird aus der Erde sprossen und Gerechtigkeit vom Himmel niederschauen.
Jehová dará también el bien; y nuestra tierra dará su fruto.

Dann wird uns der HERR auch Segen spenden, daß unser Land uns seinen Ertrag gewährt;
La justicia irá delante de él; y sus pasos pondrá en camino.
Righteousness shall go before him; and shall set us in the way of his steps.

Gerechtigkeit wird vor ihm hergehn und achten auf den Weg seiner Schritte.
