Permite que mi oración venga delante de ti; escucha mi clamor.
Entre mi oración en tu presencia: inclina tu oído á mi clamor.
Let my prayer come before thee: incline thine ear unto my cry;
Let my prayer enter into your presence. Turn your ear to my cry.
Porque mi alma está llena de males, y mi vida se ha acercado al inframundo.
Porque mi alma está harta de males, y mi vida cercana al sepulcro.
For my soul is full of troubles: and my life draweth nigh unto the grave.

Soy contado entre los que descienden al sepulcro; Me he vuelto como un hombre sin fuerzas:

Mi alma está entre los muertos, como en el infierno, a la que no le das más vueltas; porque están separados de tu cuidado.
Libre entre los muertos, como los matados que yacen en el sepulcro, que no te acuerdas más de ellos, y que son cortados de tu mano.
Free among the dead, like the slain that lie in the grave, whom thou rememberest no more: and they are cut off from thy hand.

Me has puesto en las profundidades más bajas, incluso en lugares oscuros.

Has enviado a mis amigos lejos de mí; me has hecho una cosa repugnante en sus ojos: estoy encerrado y no puedo salir.
Has alejado de mí mis conocidos: hasme puesto por abominación á ellos: encerrado estoy, y no puedo salir.
Thou hast put away mine acquaintance far from me; thou hast made me an abomination unto them: I am shut up, and I cannot come forth.
You have taken my friends from me. You have made me an abomination to them. I am confined, and I can’t escape.
Mis ojos se están consumiendo a causa de mi problema: Señor, mi llanto ha subido a ti todos los días, mis manos están extendidas hacia ti.
Mis ojos enfermaron á causa de mi aflicción: hete llamado, oh Jehová, cada día; he extendido á ti mis manos.
Mine eye mourneth by reason of affliction: LORD, I have called daily upon thee, I have stretched out my hands unto thee.

¿Será conocida en las tinieblas tu maravilla, ni tu justicia en la tierra del olvido?
Shall thy wonders be known in the dark? and thy righteousness in the land of forgetfulness?

Pero a ti envié mi clamor, oh Señor; por la mañana mi oración vino ante ti.
Mas yo á ti he clamado, oh Jehová; y de mañana mi oración te previno.
But unto thee have I cried, O LORD; and in the morning shall my prayer prevent thee.

Señor, ¿por qué desechas mi alma? ¿Por qué escondes de mí tu cara?

He estado angustiado y temeroso de la muerte desde que era joven; tu ira es dura conmigo, y no tengo fuerzas.
Yo soy afligido y menesteroso: desde la mocedad he llevado tus terrores, he estado medroso.
I am afflicted and ready to die from my youth up: while I suffer thy terrors I am distracted.
