Perciocchè l'anima mia è sazia di mali; E la mia vita è giunta infino al sepolcro.
Porque mi alma está harta de males, y mi vida cercana al sepulcro.
For my soul is full of troubles: and my life draweth nigh unto the grave.

Io son reputato del numero di quelli che scendono nella fossa; Io son simile ad un uomo che non ha più forza alcuna.

Io sono spacciato fra i morti, Come gli uccisi che giacciono nella sepoltura, De' quali tu non ti ricordi più; E che son ricisi dalla tua mano.
Libre entre los muertos, como los matados que yacen en el sepulcro, que no te acuerdas más de ellos, y que son cortados de tu mano.

Has alejado de mí mis conocidos: hasme puesto por abominación á ellos: encerrado estoy, y no puedo salir.
Thou hast put away mine acquaintance far from me; thou hast made me an abomination unto them: I am shut up, and I cannot come forth.
You have taken my friends from me. You have made me an abomination to them. I am confined, and I can’t escape.
L'occhio mio è doglioso d'afflizione; O Signore, io grido a te tuttodì, Io spiego a te le palme delle mie mani.
Mis ojos enfermaron á causa de mi aflicción: hete llamado, oh Jehová, cada día; he extendido á ti mis manos.
Mine eye mourneth by reason of affliction: LORD, I have called daily upon thee, I have stretched out my hands unto thee.

Ora quant'è a me, o Signore, io grido a te; E la mia orazione ti si fa incontro la mattina.
Mas yo á ti he clamado, oh Jehová; y de mañana mi oración te previno.
But unto thee have I cried, O LORD; and in the morning shall my prayer prevent thee.

Io son povero, e vengo meno fin dalla mia giovanezza; Io porto i tuoi spaventi, e ne sto in forse.
