Escucha ahora mi oración; escucha mi súplica,
Entre mi oración en tu presencia: inclina tu oído á mi clamor.
Let my prayer come before thee: incline thine ear unto my cry;
Let my prayer enter into your presence. Turn your ear to my cry.
porque mi vida está llena de problemas, y la muerte se acerca.
Porque mi alma está harta de males, y mi vida cercana al sepulcro.
For my soul is full of troubles: and my life draweth nigh unto the grave.
For my soul is full of troubles. My life draws near to Sheol.
Me han contado entre los muertos como si fuera uno de ellos; como un hombre fuerte al que ya no le queda más fuerza.
Soy contado con los que descienden al hoyo, soy como hombre sin fuerza:
I am counted with them that go down into the pit: I am as a man that hath no strength:
I am counted among those who go down into the pit. I am like a man who has no help,
Me han dejado para que muera, parezco un cadáver. Me has olvidado y arrebatado de tu cuidado.
Libre entre los muertos, como los matados que yacen en el sepulcro, que no te acuerdas más de ellos, y que son cortados de tu mano.
Free among the dead, like the slain that lie in the grave, whom thou rememberest no more: and they are cut off from thy hand.

Me has arrojado al hoyo más profundo, al más oscuro abismo.
Hasme puesto en el hoyo profundo, en tinieblas, en honduras.
Thou hast laid me in the lowest pit, in darkness, in the deeps.

Tu enojo es como una pesada carga para mí; como si fuera olas que me hunden.
Sobre mí se ha acostado tu ira, y me has afligido con todas tus ondas. (Selah.)
Thy wrath lieth hard upon me, and thou hast afflicted me with all thy waves. Selah.

Has hecho que mis amigos me detesten, y ellos se han alejado. Estoy en una trampa y no puedo salir.
Has alejado de mí mis conocidos: hasme puesto por abominación á ellos: encerrado estoy, y no puedo salir.
Thou hast put away mine acquaintance far from me; thou hast made me an abomination unto them: I am shut up, and I cannot come forth.

Los ojos se me nublan de llorar. Cada día te suplico que me ayudes; oh Señor, extiendo mis manos suplicantes pidiendo misericordia.
Mis ojos enfermaron á causa de mi aflicción: hete llamado, oh Jehová, cada día; he extendido á ti mis manos.
Mine eye mourneth by reason of affliction: LORD, I have called daily upon thee, I have stretched out my hands unto thee.
My eyes are dim from grief. I have called on you daily, LORD. I have spread out my hands to you.
¿De qué valdrán tus milagros cuando esté yo en el sepulcro? ¿Pueden los muertos levantarse a alabarte?
¿Harás tú milagro á los muertos? ¿levantaránse los muertos para alabarte? (Selah.)
Wilt thou shew wonders to the dead? shall the dead arise and praise thee? Selah.
Do you show wonders to the dead? Do the departed spirits rise up and praise you? Selah.
¿Pueden los que están en el sepulcro hablar de tu gran amor? ¿Pueden hablar en el abismo destructor de tu fidelidad?
¿Será contada en el sepulcro tu misericordia, ó tu verdad en la perdición?
Shall thy lovingkindness be declared in the grave? or thy faithfulness in destruction?
Is your loving kindness declared in the grave? Or your faithfulness in Destruction?
¿Pueden las tinieblas hablar de tus milagros? ¿Puede alguien en la tierra del olvido hablar de tu justicia?
¿Será conocida en las tinieblas tu maravilla, ni tu justicia en la tierra del olvido?
Shall thy wonders be known in the dark? and thy righteousness in the land of forgetfulness?
Are your wonders made known in the dark? Or your righteousness in the land of forgetfulness?
Oh Señor, a ti clamo y seguiré rogándote día tras día.
Mas yo á ti he clamado, oh Jehová; y de mañana mi oración te previno.
But unto thee have I cried, O LORD; and in the morning shall my prayer prevent thee.
But to you, LORD, I have cried. In the morning, my prayer comes before you.
Señor, ¿por qué me rechazas? ¿Por qué escondes tu rostro de mi?
¿Por qué, oh Jehová, desechas mi alma? ¿por qué escondes de mí tu rostro?
LORD, why castest thou off my soul? why hidest thou thy face from me?

Desde mi juventud he sido enfermizo y he estado cercano a la muerte. Me has enviado cosas terribles, y ante eso estoy indefenso y desesperado.
Yo soy afligido y menesteroso: desde la mocedad he llevado tus terrores, he estado medroso.
I am afflicted and ready to die from my youth up: while I suffer thy terrors I am distracted.

Tu ira me agota; las cosas terribles que me has enviado me han acabado.
Sobre mí han pasado tus iras; tus espantos me han cortado.

Todo el día me rodean como un mar. Me han rodeado por completo.
Hanme rodeado como aguas de continuo; hanme cercado á una.
They came round about me daily like water; they compassed me about together.

Me has quitado amigos y seres queridos; ahora solo quedan las tinieblas.
Has alejado de mí el amigo y el compañero; y mis conocidos se esconden en la tiniebla.
