Llegue mi oración a tu Presencia. Inclina tu oído a mi clamor.

Let my prayer come before thee: incline thine ear unto my cry;
Let my prayer enter into your presence. Turn your ear to my cry.
Porque mi alma está harta de aflicciones, Y mi vida se acerca al Seol.
Porque mi alma está harta de males, y mi vida cercana al sepulcro.
For my soul is full of troubles: and my life draweth nigh unto the grave.

Soy contado entre los que descienden al sepulcro. Soy como un varón sin fuerza,

I am counted with them that go down into the pit: I am as a man that hath no strength:
I am counted among those who go down into the pit. I am like a man who has no help,
Olvidado entre los muertos, Como los asesinados que están tendidos en la tumba, De quienes ya no te acuerdas, y son cortados de tu mano.
Libre entre los muertos, como los matados que yacen en el sepulcro, que no te acuerdas más de ellos, y que son cortados de tu mano.
Free among the dead, like the slain that lie in the grave, whom thou rememberest no more: and they are cut off from thy hand.

Tu ira pesa sobre mí. Me afliges con todas tus olas. Selah

Alejaste a mis conocidos de mí. Me pusiste como un objeto de repugnancia para ellos. Estoy encerrado y no puedo salir.
Has alejado de mí mis conocidos: hasme puesto por abominación á ellos: encerrado estoy, y no puedo salir.
Thou hast put away mine acquaintance far from me; thou hast made me an abomination unto them: I am shut up, and I cannot come forth.
You have taken my friends from me. You have made me an abomination to them. I am confined, and I can’t escape.
Mis ojos se enfermaron por causa de la aflicción. Cada día te invoco, oh Yavé. Extiendo mis manos hacia Ti:

Mine eye mourneth by reason of affliction: LORD, I have called daily upon thee, I have stretched out my hands unto thee.
My eyes are dim from grief. I have called on you daily, LORD. I have spread out my hands to you.

¿Serán reconocidas tus maravillas en la oscuridad, Y tu justicia en la tierra del olvido?
¿Será conocida en las tinieblas tu maravilla, ni tu justicia en la tierra del olvido?
Shall thy wonders be known in the dark? and thy righteousness in the land of forgetfulness?
Are your wonders made known in the dark? Or your righteousness in the land of forgetfulness?
Pero yo te invoco, oh Yavé, Clamo por ayuda. De mañana mi súplica llega delante de Ti.
Mas yo á ti he clamado, oh Jehová; y de mañana mi oración te previno.
But unto thee have I cried, O LORD; and in the morning shall my prayer prevent thee.
But to you, LORD, I have cried. In the morning, my prayer comes before you.
¿Por qué, oh Yavé, desechas mi alma? ¿Por qué escondes de mí tu rostro?

LORD, why castest thou off my soul? why hidest thou thy face from me?
LORD, why do you reject my soul? Why do you hide your face from me?
Desde mi juventud estuve afligido y necesitado. Sufrí tus terrores. Estuve turbado.
Yo soy afligido y menesteroso: desde la mocedad he llevado tus terrores, he estado medroso.
I am afflicted and ready to die from my youth up: while I suffer thy terrors I am distracted.

Tu ardiente ira pasó sobre mí. Tus terrores me destruyeron.

Me rodean de continuo como aguas. En conjunto me cercaron.

They came round about me daily like water; they compassed me about together.

Alejaste de mí a mis amigos y compañeros. Solo la oscuridad es mi compañera.
