I will sing of the mercies of the LORD for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations.
I will sing of the loving kindness of the LORD forever. With my mouth, I will make known your faithfulness to all generations.
Porque declaro que tu amor se mantiene firme para siempre, y que has establecido tu fidelidad en los mismos cielos.
Porque dije: Para siempre será edificada misericordia; en los mismos cielos apoyarás tu verdad.
For I have said, Mercy shall be built up for ever: thy faithfulness shalt thou establish in the very heavens.
I indeed declare, “Love stands firm forever. You established the heavens. Your faithfulness is in them.”
Dijiste: “He hecho un pacto con mi escogido; le he hecho un juramento a mi siervo David:
Hice alianza con mi escogido; juré á David mi siervo, diciendo:
I have made a covenant with my chosen, I have sworn unto David my servant,
“I have made a covenant with my chosen one, I have sworn to David, my servant,
“Estableceré tu descendencia para siempre, y afirmaré tu trono por todas las generaciones””. Selah.
Para siempre confirmaré tu simiente, y edificaré tu trono por todas las generaciones. (Selah.)
Thy seed will I establish for ever, and build up thy throne to all generations. Selah.

Los cielos celebran tus maravillas, Yahvé, y la asamblea de los santos alaba tu fidelidad.
Y celebrarán los cielos tu maravilla, oh Jehová; tu verdad también en la congregación de los santos.
And the heavens shall praise thy wonders, O LORD: thy faithfulness also in the congregation of the saints.
The heavens will praise your wonders, LORD, your faithfulness also in the assembly of the holy ones.
Porque, ¿quién en los cielos puede compararse a Yahvé? ¿Quién como él entre los seres celestiales?
Porque ¿quién en los cielos se igualará con Jehová? ¿quién será semejante á Jehová entre los hijos de los potentados?
For who in the heaven can be compared unto the LORD? who among the sons of the mighty can be likened unto the LORD?
For who in the skies can be compared to the LORD? Who among the sons of the heavenly beings is like the LORD,
Dios es muy temido en el consejo de los santos; es grande y asombroso sobre todos los que lo rodean.
Dios terrible en la grande congregación de los santos, y formidable sobre todos cuantos están alrededor suyo.
God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all them that are about him.
a very awesome God in the council of the holy ones, to be feared above all those who are around him?
Yahvé, Dios de los Ejércitos, ¿quién es tan poderoso como tú? Tu fidelidad te rodea, oh Yahvé.
Oh Jehová, Dios de los ejércitos, ¿quién como tú? Poderoso eres, Jehová, y tu verdad está en torno de ti.
O LORD God of hosts, who is a strong LORD like unto thee? or to thy faithfulness round about thee?
LORD, God of Armies, who is a mighty one, like you? LORD, your faithfulness is around you.
Tú dominas la furia del mar; cuando sus olas se levantan, tú las calmas.
Tú tienes dominio sobre la bravura de la mar: cuando se levantan sus ondas, tú las sosiegas.
Thou rulest the raging of the sea: when the waves thereof arise, thou stillest them.
You rule the pride of the sea. When its waves rise up, you calm them.
Aplastaste a Rahab como a un cadáver; dispersaste a tus enemigos con tu brazo poderoso.
Tú quebrantaste á Rahab como á un muerto: con el brazo de tu fortaleza esparciste á tus enemigos.
Thou hast broken Rahab in pieces, as one that is slain; thou hast scattered thine enemies with thy strong arm.
You have broken Rahab in pieces, like one of the slain. You have scattered your enemies with your mighty arm.
Tuyos son los cielos, y tuya también es la tierra; tú fundaste el mundo y todo lo que contiene.
Tuyos los cielos, tuya también la tierra: el mundo y su plenitud, tú lo fundaste.
The heavens are thine, the earth also is thine: as for the world and the fulness thereof, thou hast founded them.
The heavens are yours. The earth also is yours, the world and its fullness. You have founded them.
Tú creaste el norte y el sur; el monte Tabor y el monte Hermón cantan alegres a tu nombre.
Al aquilón y al austro tú los criaste: Tabor y Hermón cantarán en tu nombre.
The north and the south thou hast created them: Tabor and Hermon shall rejoice in thy name.
You have created the north and the south. Tabor and Hermon rejoice in your name.
Tu brazo es poderoso; tu mano es fuerte, y tu mano derecha es victoriosa.
Tuyo el brazo con valentía; fuerte es tu mano, ensalzada tu diestra.
Thou hast a mighty arm: strong is thy hand, and high is thy right hand.
You have a mighty arm. Your hand is strong, and your right hand is exalted.
La justicia y el derecho son el fundamento de tu trono; el gran amor y la fidelidad van delante de ti.
Justicia y juicio son el asiento de tu trono: misericordia y verdad van delante de tu rostro.
Justice and judgment are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face.
Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne. Loving kindness and truth go before your face.
Dichosos los que saben aclamarte, Yahvé; ellos caminan a la luz de tu presencia.
Bienaventurado el pueblo que sabe aclamarte: andarán, oh Jehová, á la luz de tu rostro.
Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of thy countenance.
Blessed are the people who learn to acclaim you. They walk in the light of your presence, LORD.
Se alegran en tu nombre todo el día, y se regocijan en tu justicia.
En tu nombre se alegrarán todo el día; y en tu justicia serán ensalzados.
In thy name shall they rejoice all the day: and in thy righteousness shall they be exalted.
In your name they rejoice all day. In your righteousness, they are exalted.
Porque tú eres la gloria de su fuerza; por tu favor, nuestro poder es exaltado.
Porque tú eres la gloria de su fortaleza; y por tu buena voluntad ensalzarás nuestro cuerno.
For thou art the glory of their strength: and in thy favour our horn shall be exalted.
For you are the glory of their strength. In your favor, our horn will be exalted.
Porque nuestro escudo le pertenece a Yahvé; nuestro rey es del Santo de Israel.

For the LORD is our defence; and the Holy One of Israel is our king.

En una visión le hablaste a tus fieles, y les dijiste: “He dado fuerzas a un guerrero; he elegido a un joven del pueblo.
Entonces hablaste en visión á tu santo, y dijiste: Yo he puesto el socorro sobre valiente; he ensalzado un escogido de mi pueblo.
Then thou spakest in vision to thy holy one, and saidst, I have laid help upon one that is mighty; I have exalted one chosen out of the people.
Then you spoke in vision to your saints, and said, “I have given strength to the warrior. I have exalted a young man from the people.
He encontrado a mi siervo David, y lo he ungido con mi aceite santo.
Hallé á David mi siervo; ungílo con el aceite de mi santidad.
I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him:
I have found David, my servant. I have anointed him with my holy oil,
Mi mano siempre lo sostendrá, y mi brazo le dará fuerzas.
Mi mano será firme con él, mi brazo también lo fortificará.
With whom my hand shall be established: mine arm also shall strengthen him.
with whom my hand shall be established. My arm will also strengthen him.
Ningún enemigo lo someterá a tributo; ningún malvado lo oprimirá.
No lo avasallará enemigo, ni hijo de iniquidad lo quebrantará.
The enemy shall not exact upon him; nor the son of wickedness afflict him.
No enemy will tax him. No wicked man will oppress him.
Aplastaré a sus adversarios delante de él, y derribaré a los que lo odian.
Mas yo quebrantaré delante de él á sus enemigos, y heriré á sus aborrecedores.
And I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague them that hate him.
I will beat down his adversaries before him, and strike those who hate him.
Mi fidelidad y mi gran amor estarán con él; en mi nombre, su poder será exaltado.
Y mi verdad y mi misericordia serán con él; y en mi nombre será ensalzado su cuerno.
But my faithfulness and my mercy shall be with him: and in my name shall his horn be exalted.
But my faithfulness and my loving kindness will be with him. In my name, his horn will be exalted.
Extenderé su dominio sobre el mar, y su poder sobre los ríos.
Asimismo pondré su mano en la mar, y en los ríos su diestra.
I will set his hand also in the sea, and his right hand in the rivers.

Él me dirá: “Tú eres mi Padre, mi Dios, la roca de mi salvación”.
El me llamará: Mi padre eres tú, mi Dios, y la roca de mi salud.
He shall cry unto me, Thou art my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation.
He will call to me, ‘You are my Father, my God, and the rock of my salvation!’
Y yo lo nombraré mi primogénito, el más importante de los reyes de la tierra.
Yo también le pondré por primogénito, alto sobre los reyes de la tierra.
Also I will make him my firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth.
I will also appoint him my firstborn, the highest of the kings of the earth.
Le mostraré mi gran amor para siempre, y mi pacto con él se mantendrá firme.
Para siempre le conservaré mi misericordia; y mi alianza será firme con él.
My mercy will I keep for him for evermore, and my covenant shall stand fast with him.
I will keep my loving kindness for him forever more. My covenant will stand firm with him.
Haré que su descendencia sea eterna, y que su trono dure tanto como los cielos.
Y pondré su simiente para siempre, y su trono como los días de los cielos.
His seed also will I make to endure for ever, and his throne as the days of heaven.
I will also make his offspring endure forever, and his throne as the days of heaven.
Pero si sus hijos abandonan mi ley, y no viven según mis ordenanzas;
Si dejaren sus hijos mi ley, y no anduvieren en mis juicios;
If his children forsake my law, and walk not in my judgments;
If his children forsake my law, and don’t walk in my ordinances;
si violan mis estatutos, y no obedecen mis mandamientos,
Si profanaren mis estatutos, y no guardaren mis mandamientos;
If they break my statutes, and keep not my commandments;
if they break my statutes, and don’t keep my commandments;
entonces castigaré sus pecados con la vara, y su maldad con azotes.
Entonces visitaré con vara su rebelión, y con azotes sus iniquidades.
Then will I visit their transgression with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes.
then I will punish their sin with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes.
Sin embargo, no le quitaré mi gran amor, ni faltaré a mi fidelidad.
Mas no quitaré de él mi misericordia, ni falsearé mi verdad.
Nevertheless my lovingkindness will I not utterly take from him, nor suffer my faithfulness to fail.
But I will not completely take my loving kindness from him, nor allow my faithfulness to fail.
No romperé mi pacto, ni cambiaré lo que han pronunciado mis labios.
No olvidaré mi pacto, ni mudaré lo que ha salido de mis labios.
My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.
I will not break my covenant, nor alter what my lips have uttered.
Una vez he jurado por mi santidad, y no le voy a mentir a David:

Once have I sworn by my holiness that I will not lie unto David.
Once I have sworn by my holiness, I will not lie to David.
Su descendencia durará para siempre, y su trono brillará como el sol en mi presencia.
Su simiente será para siempre, y su trono como el sol delante de mí.
His seed shall endure for ever, and his throne as the sun before me.
His offspring will endure forever, his throne like the sun before me.
Se mantendrá firme para siempre, como la luna, como el testigo fiel en el cielo”. Selah.

It shall be established for ever as the moon, and as a faithful witness in heaven. Selah.

Pero tú lo has rechazado y despreciado; te has enfurecido con tu ungido.
Mas tú desechaste y menospreciaste á tu ungido; y te has airado con él.
But thou hast cast off and abhorred, thou hast been wroth with thine anointed.
But you have rejected and spurned. You have been angry with your anointed.
Has anulado el pacto con tu siervo; has arrojado su corona al polvo.
Rompiste el pacto de tu siervo; has profanado su corona hasta la tierra.
Thou hast made void the covenant of thy servant: thou hast profaned his crown by casting it to the ground.
You have renounced the covenant of your servant. You have defiled his crown in the dust.
Has derribado todas sus murallas; has dejado sus fortalezas en ruinas.
Aportillaste todos sus vallados; has quebrantado sus fortalezas.
Thou hast broken down all his hedges; thou hast brought his strong holds to ruin.
You have broken down all his hedges. You have brought his strongholds to ruin.
Todos los que pasan por el camino lo saquean; se ha convertido en la burla de sus vecinos.
Menoscabáronle todos los que pasaron por el camino: es oprobio á sus vecinos.
All that pass by the way spoil him: he is a reproach to his neighbours.
All who pass by the way rob him. He has become a reproach to his neighbors.
Has exaltado el poder de sus adversarios; has hecho que todos sus enemigos se alegren.
Has ensalzado la diestra de sus enemigos; has alegrado á todos sus adversarios.
Thou hast set up the right hand of his adversaries; thou hast made all his enemies to rejoice.
You have exalted the right hand of his adversaries. You have made all of his enemies rejoice.
Le quitaste el filo a su espada, y no lo apoyaste en la batalla.
Embotaste asimismo el filo de su espada, y no lo levantaste en la batalla.
Thou hast also turned the edge of his sword, and hast not made him to stand in the battle.
Yes, you turn back the edge of his sword, and haven’t supported him in battle.
Acabaste con su esplendor, y arrojaste su trono por tierra.
Hiciste cesar su brillo, y echaste su trono por tierra.
Thou hast made his glory to cease, and cast his throne down to the ground.
You have ended his splendor, and thrown his throne down to the ground.

How long, LORD? wilt thou hide thyself for ever? shall thy wrath burn like fire?

Recuerda lo breve que es mi vida; ¿acaso creaste en vano a todos los seres humanos?
Acuérdate de cuán corto sea mi tiempo: ¿por qué habrás criado en vano á todos los hijos del hombre?
Remember how short my time is: wherefore hast thou made all men in vain?

Lord, where are thy former lovingkindnesses, which thou swarest unto David in thy truth?
Lord, where are your former loving kindnesses, which you swore to David in your faithfulness?
Acuérdate, Señor, de las burlas que soportan tus siervos; de cómo llevo en mi corazón los insultos de muchos pueblos,
Señor, acuérdate del oprobio de tus siervos; oprobio que llevo yo en mi seno de muchos pueblos.
Remember, Lord, the reproach of thy servants; how I do bear in my bosom the reproach of all the mighty people;
Remember, Lord, the reproach of your servants, how I bear in my heart the taunts of all the mighty peoples,
burlas con las que tus enemigos te han ofendido, Yahvé, burlas con las que persiguen cada paso de tu ungido.
Porque tus enemigos, oh Jehová, han deshonrado, porque tus enemigos han deshonrado los pasos de tu ungido.
Wherewith thine enemies have reproached, O LORD; wherewith they have reproached the footsteps of thine anointed.
With which your enemies have mocked, LORD, with which they have mocked the footsteps of your anointed one.
