Ein Maskil; von Ethan, dem Esrachiter. Die Gütigkeiten Jehovas will ich besingen ewiglich, von Geschlecht zu Geschlecht mit meinem Munde kundmachen deine Treue.

Masquil de Ethán Ezrahita. LAS misericordias de Jehová cantaré perpetuamente: en generación y generación haré notoria tu verdad con mi boca.

I will sing of the mercies of the LORD for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations.

I will sing of the loving kindness of the LORD forever. With my mouth, I will make known your faithfulness to all generations.

Denn ich sagte: Auf ewig wird die Güte gebaut werden; die Himmel, in ihnen wirst du feststellen deine Treue.

Porque dije: Para siempre será edificada misericordia; en los mismos cielos apoyarás tu verdad.

For I have said, Mercy shall be built up for ever: thy faithfulness shalt thou establish in the very heavens.

I indeed declare, “Love stands firm forever. You established the heavens. Your faithfulness is in them.”

Einen Bund habe ich mit meinem Auserwählten gemacht, habe David, meinem Knechte, geschworen:

Hice alianza con mi escogido; juré á David mi siervo, diciendo:

I have made a covenant with my chosen, I have sworn unto David my servant,

“I have made a covenant with my chosen one, I have sworn to David, my servant,

"Bis in Ewigkeit will ich feststellen deinen Samen, und auf alle Geschlechter hin bauen deinen Thron." (Sela.)

Para siempre confirmaré tu simiente, y edificaré tu trono por todas las generaciones. (Selah.)

Thy seed will I establish for ever, and build up thy throne to all generations. Selah.

‘I will establish your offspring forever, and build up your throne to all generations.’” Selah.

Und die Himmel werden deine Wunder preisen, Jehova, und deine Treue in der Versammlung der Heiligen.

Y celebrarán los cielos tu maravilla, oh Jehová; tu verdad también en la congregación de los santos.

And the heavens shall praise thy wonders, O LORD: thy faithfulness also in the congregation of the saints.

The heavens will praise your wonders, LORD, your faithfulness also in the assembly of the holy ones.

Denn wer in den Wolken ist mit Jehova zu vergleichen? Wer ist Jehova gleich unter den Söhnen der Starken?

Porque ¿quién en los cielos se igualará con Jehová? ¿quién será semejante á Jehová entre los hijos de los potentados?

For who in the heaven can be compared unto the LORD? who among the sons of the mighty can be likened unto the LORD?

For who in the skies can be compared to the LORD? Who among the sons of the heavenly beings is like the LORD,

Er ist ein Gott, gar erschrecklich in der Versammlung der Heiligen, und furchtbar über alle, die rings um ihn her sind.

Dios terrible en la grande congregación de los santos, y formidable sobre todos cuantos están alrededor suyo.

God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all them that are about him.

a very awesome God in the council of the holy ones, to be feared above all those who are around him?

Jehova, Gott der Heerscharen, wer ist mächtig wie du, o Jah? Und deine Treue ist rings um dich her.

Oh Jehová, Dios de los ejércitos, ¿quién como tú? Poderoso eres, Jehová, y tu verdad está en torno de ti.

O LORD God of hosts, who is a strong LORD like unto thee? or to thy faithfulness round about thee?

LORD, God of Armies, who is a mighty one, like you? LORD, your faithfulness is around you.

Du beherrschest des Meeres Toben; erheben sich seine Wogen, du stillest sie.

Tú tienes dominio sobre la bravura de la mar: cuando se levantan sus ondas, tú las sosiegas.

Thou rulest the raging of the sea: when the waves thereof arise, thou stillest them.

You rule the pride of the sea. When its waves rise up, you calm them.

Du hast Rahab zertreten wie einen Erschlagenen; mit deinem starken Arme hast du deine Feinde zerstreut.

Tú quebrantaste á Rahab como á un muerto: con el brazo de tu fortaleza esparciste á tus enemigos.

Thou hast broken Rahab in pieces, as one that is slain; thou hast scattered thine enemies with thy strong arm.

You have broken Rahab in pieces, like one of the slain. You have scattered your enemies with your mighty arm.

Dein sind die Himmel und dein die Erde; der Erdkreis und seine Fülle, du hast sie gegründet.

Tuyos los cielos, tuya también la tierra: el mundo y su plenitud, tú lo fundaste.

The heavens are thine, the earth also is thine: as for the world and the fulness thereof, thou hast founded them.

The heavens are yours. The earth also is yours, the world and its fullness. You have founded them.

Norden und Süden, du hast sie erschaffen; Tabor und Hermon jubeln in deinem Namen.

Al aquilón y al austro tú los criaste: Tabor y Hermón cantarán en tu nombre.

The north and the south thou hast created them: Tabor and Hermon shall rejoice in thy name.

You have created the north and the south. Tabor and Hermon rejoice in your name.

Du hast einen gewaltigen Arm, stark ist deine Hand, hoch deine Rechte.

Tuyo el brazo con valentía; fuerte es tu mano, ensalzada tu diestra.

Thou hast a mighty arm: strong is thy hand, and high is thy right hand.

You have a mighty arm. Your hand is strong, and your right hand is exalted.

Gerechtigkeit und Gericht sind deines Thrones Grundfeste; Güte und Wahrheit gehen vor deinem Angesicht her.

Justicia y juicio son el asiento de tu trono: misericordia y verdad van delante de tu rostro.

Justice and judgment are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face.

Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne. Loving kindness and truth go before your face.

Glückselig das Volk, das den Jubelschall kennt! Jehova, im Lichte deines Angesichts wandeln sie.

Bienaventurado el pueblo que sabe aclamarte: andarán, oh Jehová, á la luz de tu rostro.

Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of thy countenance.

Blessed are the people who learn to acclaim you. They walk in the light of your presence, LORD.

In deinem Namen frohlocken sie den ganzen Tag, und durch deine Gerechtigkeit werden sie erhöht.

En tu nombre se alegrarán todo el día; y en tu justicia serán ensalzados.

In thy name shall they rejoice all the day: and in thy righteousness shall they be exalted.

In your name they rejoice all day. In your righteousness, they are exalted.

Denn die Zierde ihrer Stärke bist du; und durch deine Gunst wird erhöht werden unser Horn.

Porque tú eres la gloria de su fortaleza; y por tu buena voluntad ensalzarás nuestro cuerno.

For thou art the glory of their strength: and in thy favour our horn shall be exalted.

For you are the glory of their strength. In your favor, our horn will be exalted.

Denn Jehova ist unser Schild, und der Heilige Israels unser König.

Porque Jehová es nuestro escudo; y nuestro rey es el Santo de Israel.

For the LORD is our defence; and the Holy One of Israel is our king.

For our shield belongs to the LORD, our king to the Holy One of Israel.

Dazumal redetest du im Gesicht von deinem Frommen und sagtest: Hilfe habe ich auf einen Mächtigen gelegt, ich habe einen Auserwählten erhöht aus dem Volke.

Entonces hablaste en visión á tu santo, y dijiste: Yo he puesto el socorro sobre valiente; he ensalzado un escogido de mi pueblo.

Then thou spakest in vision to thy holy one, and saidst, I have laid help upon one that is mighty; I have exalted one chosen out of the people.

Then you spoke in vision to your saints, and said, “I have given strength to the warrior. I have exalted a young man from the people.

Ich habe David gefunden, meinen Knecht, mit meinem heiligen Öle habe ich ihn gesalbt-

Hallé á David mi siervo; ungílo con el aceite de mi santidad.

I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him:

I have found David, my servant. I have anointed him with my holy oil,

mit welchem fest bleiben soll meine Hand, und mein Arm soll ihn stärken.

Mi mano será firme con él, mi brazo también lo fortificará.

With whom my hand shall be established: mine arm also shall strengthen him.

with whom my hand shall be established. My arm will also strengthen him.

Nicht soll ihn drängen der Feind, und der Sohn der Ungerechtigkeit ihn nicht bedrücken;

No lo avasallará enemigo, ni hijo de iniquidad lo quebrantará.

The enemy shall not exact upon him; nor the son of wickedness afflict him.

No enemy will tax him. No wicked man will oppress him.

und ich will seine Bedränger vor ihm zerschmettern, und seine Hasser will ich schlagen.

Mas yo quebrantaré delante de él á sus enemigos, y heriré á sus aborrecedores.

And I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague them that hate him.

I will beat down his adversaries before him, and strike those who hate him.

Und meine Treue und meine Güte werden mit ihm sein, und durch meinen Namen wird sein Horn erhöht werden.

Y mi verdad y mi misericordia serán con él; y en mi nombre será ensalzado su cuerno.

But my faithfulness and my mercy shall be with him: and in my name shall his horn be exalted.

But my faithfulness and my loving kindness will be with him. In my name, his horn will be exalted.

Und ich will seine Hand an das Meer legen, und seine Rechte an die Ströme.

Asimismo pondré su mano en la mar, y en los ríos su diestra.

I will set his hand also in the sea, and his right hand in the rivers.

I will set his hand also on the sea, and his right hand on the rivers.

Er wird mir zurufen: Mein Vater bist du, mein Gott, und der Fels meiner Rettung!

El me llamará: Mi padre eres tú, mi Dios, y la roca de mi salud.

He shall cry unto me, Thou art my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation.

He will call to me, ‘You are my Father, my God, and the rock of my salvation!’

So will auch ich ihn zum Erstgeborenen machen, zum Höchsten der Könige der Erde.

Yo también le pondré por primogénito, alto sobre los reyes de la tierra.

Also I will make him my firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth.

I will also appoint him my firstborn, the highest of the kings of the earth.

Ewig will ich ihm meine Güte bewahren, und mein Bund soll ihm fest bleiben.

Para siempre le conservaré mi misericordia; y mi alianza será firme con él.

My mercy will I keep for him for evermore, and my covenant shall stand fast with him.

I will keep my loving kindness for him forever more. My covenant will stand firm with him.

Und ich will seinen Samen einsetzen für immer, und seinen Thron wie die Tage der Himmel.

Y pondré su simiente para siempre, y su trono como los días de los cielos.

His seed also will I make to endure for ever, and his throne as the days of heaven.

I will also make his offspring endure forever, and his throne as the days of heaven.

Wenn seine Söhne mein Gesetz verlassen und nicht wandeln in meinen Rechten,

Si dejaren sus hijos mi ley, y no anduvieren en mis juicios;

If his children forsake my law, and walk not in my judgments;

If his children forsake my law, and don’t walk in my ordinances;

wenn sie meine Satzungen entweihen und meine Gebote nicht halten,

Si profanaren mis estatutos, y no guardaren mis mandamientos;

If they break my statutes, and keep not my commandments;

if they break my statutes, and don’t keep my commandments;

so werde ich mit der Rute heimsuchen ihre Übertretung, und mit Schlägen ihre Ungerechtigkeit.

Entonces visitaré con vara su rebelión, y con azotes sus iniquidades.

Then will I visit their transgression with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes.

then I will punish their sin with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes.

Aber meine Güte werde ich nicht von ihm weichen lassen, und nicht verleugnen meine Treue.

Mas no quitaré de él mi misericordia, ni falsearé mi verdad.

Nevertheless my lovingkindness will I not utterly take from him, nor suffer my faithfulness to fail.

But I will not completely take my loving kindness from him, nor allow my faithfulness to fail.

Nicht werde ich entweihen meinen Bund, und nicht ändern, was hervorgegangen ist aus meinen Lippen.

No olvidaré mi pacto, ni mudaré lo que ha salido de mis labios.

My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.

I will not break my covenant, nor alter what my lips have uttered.

Einmal habe ich geschworen bei meiner Heiligkeit: Wenn ich dem David lüge!

Una vez he jurado por mi santidad, que no mentiré á David.

Once have I sworn by my holiness that I will not lie unto David.

Once I have sworn by my holiness, I will not lie to David.

Sein Same wird ewig sein, und sein Thron wie die Sonne vor mir;

Su simiente será para siempre, y su trono como el sol delante de mí.

His seed shall endure for ever, and his throne as the sun before me.

His offspring will endure forever, his throne like the sun before me.

ewiglich wird er feststehen wie der Mond; und der Zeuge in den Wolken ist treu. (Sela.)

Como la luna será firme para siempre, y como un testigo fiel en el cielo. (Selah.)

It shall be established for ever as the moon, and as a faithful witness in heaven. Selah.

It will be established forever like the moon, the faithful witness in the sky.” Selah.

Du aber hast verworfen und verstoßen, bist sehr zornig gewesen gegen deinen Gesalbten;

Mas tú desechaste y menospreciaste á tu ungido; y te has airado con él.

But thou hast cast off and abhorred, thou hast been wroth with thine anointed.

But you have rejected and spurned. You have been angry with your anointed.

Du hast verworfen den Bund deines Knechtes, hast zu Boden entweiht seine Krone;

Rompiste el pacto de tu siervo; has profanado su corona hasta la tierra.

Thou hast made void the covenant of thy servant: thou hast profaned his crown by casting it to the ground.

You have renounced the covenant of your servant. You have defiled his crown in the dust.

Du hast niedergerissen alle seine Mauern, hast seine Festen in Trümmer gelegt.

Aportillaste todos sus vallados; has quebrantado sus fortalezas.

Thou hast broken down all his hedges; thou hast brought his strong holds to ruin.

You have broken down all his hedges. You have brought his strongholds to ruin.

Es haben ihn beraubt alle, die des Weges vorübergehen; er ist zum Hohn geworden seinen Nachbarn.

Menoscabáronle todos los que pasaron por el camino: es oprobio á sus vecinos.

All that pass by the way spoil him: he is a reproach to his neighbours.

All who pass by the way rob him. He has become a reproach to his neighbors.

Du hast erhöht die Rechte seiner Bedränger, hast erfreut alle seine Feinde;

Has ensalzado la diestra de sus enemigos; has alegrado á todos sus adversarios.

Thou hast set up the right hand of his adversaries; thou hast made all his enemies to rejoice.

You have exalted the right hand of his adversaries. You have made all of his enemies rejoice.

auch hast du zurückgewandt die Schärfe seines Schwertes, und hast ihn nicht bestehen lassen im Kampfe;

Embotaste asimismo el filo de su espada, y no lo levantaste en la batalla.

Thou hast also turned the edge of his sword, and hast not made him to stand in the battle.

Yes, you turn back the edge of his sword, and haven’t supported him in battle.

Du hast aufhören lassen seinen Glanz und zur Erde gestürzt seinen Thron;

Hiciste cesar su brillo, y echaste su trono por tierra.

Thou hast made his glory to cease, and cast his throne down to the ground.

You have ended his splendor, and thrown his throne down to the ground.

Du hast verkürzt die Tage seiner Jugend, mit Schmach hast du ihn bedeckt. (Sela.)

Has acortado los días de su juventud; hasle cubierto de afrenta. (Selah.)

The days of his youth hast thou shortened: thou hast covered him with shame. Selah.

Bis wann, Jehova, willst du dich immerfort verbergen, soll wie Feuer brennen dein Grimm?

¿Hasta cuándo, oh Jehová? ¿te esconderás para siempre? ¿arderá tu ira como el fuego?

How long, LORD? wilt thou hide thyself for ever? shall thy wrath burn like fire?

How long, LORD? Will you hide yourself forever? Will your wrath burn like fire?

Gedenke, was meine Lebensdauer ist, zu welcher Nichtigkeit du alle Menschenkinder erschaffen hast!

Acuérdate de cuán corto sea mi tiempo: ¿por qué habrás criado en vano á todos los hijos del hombre?

Remember how short my time is: wherefore hast thou made all men in vain?

Remember how short my time is, for what vanity you have created all the children of men!

Welcher Mann lebt und wird den Tod nicht sehen, wird seine Seele befreien von der Gewalt des Scheols? (Sela.)

¿Qué hombre vivirá y no verá muerte? ¿librarás su vida del poder del sepulcro? (Selah.)

What man is he that liveth, and shall not see death? shall he deliver his soul from the hand of the grave? Selah.

What man is he who shall live and not see death, who shall deliver his soul from the power of Sheol? Selah.

Wo sind, o Herr, deine früheren Gütigkeiten, die du David zugeschworen hast in deiner Treue?

Señor, ¿dónde están tus antiguas misericordias, que juraste á David por tu verdad?

Lord, where are thy former lovingkindnesses, which thou swarest unto David in thy truth?

Lord, where are your former loving kindnesses, which you swore to David in your faithfulness?

Gedenke, Herr, des Hohnes deiner Knechte, daß ich in meinem Busen trage den Hohn all der vielen Völker,

Señor, acuérdate del oprobio de tus siervos; oprobio que llevo yo en mi seno de muchos pueblos.

Remember, Lord, the reproach of thy servants; how I do bear in my bosom the reproach of all the mighty people;

Remember, Lord, the reproach of your servants, how I bear in my heart the taunts of all the mighty peoples,

womit deine Feinde gehöhnt haben, Jehova, womit sie gehöhnt haben die Fußstapfen deines Gesalbten!

Porque tus enemigos, oh Jehová, han deshonrado, porque tus enemigos han deshonrado los pasos de tu ungido.

Wherewith thine enemies have reproached, O LORD; wherewith they have reproached the footsteps of thine anointed.

With which your enemies have mocked, LORD, with which they have mocked the footsteps of your anointed one.
