Pensei comigo mesmo: O grande amor de Deus é eterno e dura para sempre! A sua fidelidade está firmada nos céus.
Porque dije: Para siempre será edificada misericordia; en los mismos cielos apoyarás tu verdad.
For I have said, Mercy shall be built up for ever: thy faithfulness shalt thou establish in the very heavens.
I indeed declare, “Love stands firm forever. You established the heavens. Your faithfulness is in them.”
O Senhor Deus declara: “Fiz uma aliança com o meu escolhido e prometi solenemente a Davi, meu servo:
Hice alianza con mi escogido; juré á David mi siervo, diciendo:
I have made a covenant with my chosen, I have sworn unto David my servant,
“I have made a covenant with my chosen one, I have sworn to David, my servant,
Um dos seus descendentes sempre reinará; eu farei com que alguém da sua linhagem ocupe o trono de Israel por todas as gerações!”
Para siempre confirmaré tu simiente, y edificaré tu trono por todas las generaciones. (Selah.)
Thy seed will I establish for ever, and build up thy throne to all generations. Selah.

Os céus louvam as suas maravilhas, ó Senhor! Os santos anjos louvam a sua fidelidade.

And the heavens shall praise thy wonders, O LORD: thy faithfulness also in the congregation of the saints.

Quem, em todo o céu, poderá ser comparado ao Senhor? Quem dentre os seres celestiais chega aos pés do Senhor?
Porque ¿quién en los cielos se igualará con Jehová? ¿quién será semejante á Jehová entre los hijos de los potentados?
For who in the heaven can be compared unto the LORD? who among the sons of the mighty can be likened unto the LORD?

Deus fica muito acima da assembleia dos santos anjos; todos eles respeitam profundamente o Senhor.
Dios terrible en la grande congregación de los santos, y formidable sobre todos cuantos están alrededor suyo.
God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all them that are about him.
a very awesome God in the council of the holy ones, to be feared above all those who are around him?

O LORD God of hosts, who is a strong LORD like unto thee? or to thy faithfulness round about thee?
LORD, God of Armies, who is a mighty one, like you? LORD, your faithfulness is around you.
O Senhor domina o mar, quando ele está revolto; o Senhor acalma as grandes ondas com a sua voz!
Tú tienes dominio sobre la bravura de la mar: cuando se levantan sus ondas, tú las sosiegas.
Thou rulest the raging of the sea: when the waves thereof arise, thou stillest them.

O Senhor quebrou o Egito em pedaços! Com o seu grande poder feriu mortalmente os seus inimigos, e todos eles fugiram.
Tú quebrantaste á Rahab como á un muerto: con el brazo de tu fortaleza esparciste á tus enemigos.
Thou hast broken Rahab in pieces, as one that is slain; thou hast scattered thine enemies with thy strong arm.
You have broken Rahab in pieces, like one of the slain. You have scattered your enemies with your mighty arm.
Os céus são seus, a terra é sua! Sim, este mundo e tudo que nele existe foram criados pelo Senhor.
Tuyos los cielos, tuya también la tierra: el mundo y su plenitud, tú lo fundaste.
The heavens are thine, the earth also is thine: as for the world and the fulness thereof, thou hast founded them.

Criou o Norte e o Sul; o monte Tabor e o monte Hermom cantam de alegria porque foram criados pelo seu grande poder.
Al aquilón y al austro tú los criaste: Tabor y Hermón cantarán en tu nombre.
The north and the south thou hast created them: Tabor and Hermon shall rejoice in thy name.

O seu braço é poderoso; a sua mão é forte! Sua mão direita é levantada, com poder e honra.
Tuyo el brazo con valentía; fuerte es tu mano, ensalzada tu diestra.
Thou hast a mighty arm: strong is thy hand, and high is thy right hand.
You have a mighty arm. Your hand is strong, and your right hand is exalted.
O seu trono tem duas bases, a justiça e a retidão. Por onde quer que vá, o amor e a verdade o acompanham.
Justicia y juicio son el asiento de tu trono: misericordia y verdad van delante de tu rostro.
Justice and judgment are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face.
Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne. Loving kindness and truth go before your face.
Feliz é o povo que o adora com gritos de alegria, Senhor, pois o seu caminho será iluminado pela luz do seu rosto.
Bienaventurado el pueblo que sabe aclamarte: andarán, oh Jehová, á la luz de tu rostro.
Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of thy countenance.
Blessed are the people who learn to acclaim you. They walk in the light of your presence, LORD.
O Senhor é a alegria constante desse povo, e ele se alegra em conhecer a sua justiça e bondade,
En tu nombre se alegrarán todo el día; y en tu justicia serán ensalzados.
In thy name shall they rejoice all the day: and in thy righteousness shall they be exalted.
In your name they rejoice all day. In your righteousness, they are exalted.
pois o Senhor é a nossa glória e a nossa força! Nossa força depende inteiramente da sua bondade.
Porque tú eres la gloria de su fortaleza; y por tu buena voluntad ensalzarás nuestro cuerno.
For thou art the glory of their strength: and in thy favour our horn shall be exalted.
For you are the glory of their strength. In your favor, our horn will be exalted.
O Senhor é o nosso escudo. Ó Santo de Israel, o Senhor é o nosso rei!
Porque Jehová es nuestro escudo; y nuestro rey es el Santo de Israel.
For the LORD is our defence; and the Holy One of Israel is our king.

Há algum tempo, numa visão, o Senhor disse ao seu profeta: “Dei a um soldado valente o poder para salvar o meu povo! Escolhi um homem humilde para ser rei.
Entonces hablaste en visión á tu santo, y dijiste: Yo he puesto el socorro sobre valiente; he ensalzado un escogido de mi pueblo.
Then thou spakest in vision to thy holy one, and saidst, I have laid help upon one that is mighty; I have exalted one chosen out of the people.
Then you spoke in vision to your saints, and said, “I have given strength to the warrior. I have exalted a young man from the people.
Escolhi Davi, o meu servo, para ser rei; como prova da minha escolha derramei o meu santo óleo sobre a sua cabeça.
Hallé á David mi siervo; ungílo con el aceite de mi santidad.
I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him:
I have found David, my servant. I have anointed him with my holy oil,
A minha mão confirmará as ações dele, e o meu braço será a sua força!
Mi mano será firme con él, mi brazo también lo fortificará.
With whom my hand shall be established: mine arm also shall strengthen him.
with whom my hand shall be established. My arm will also strengthen him.
Ele nunca será apanhado de surpresa pelos seus inimigos, nunca será derrotado pelos perversos!
No lo avasallará enemigo, ni hijo de iniquidad lo quebrantará.
The enemy shall not exact upon him; nor the son of wickedness afflict him.
No enemy will tax him. No wicked man will oppress him.
Eu mesmo destruirei os seus inimigos e castigarei quem odiar Davi.
Mas yo quebrantaré delante de él á sus enemigos, y heriré á sus aborrecedores.
And I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague them that hate him.
I will beat down his adversaries before him, and strike those who hate him.
A minha fidelidade e o meu amor cuidadoso estarão sempre com Davi, e ele se tornará forte e poderoso graças a mim.
Y mi verdad y mi misericordia serán con él; y en mi nombre será ensalzado su cuerno.
But my faithfulness and my mercy shall be with him: and in my name shall his horn be exalted.
But my faithfulness and my loving kindness will be with him. In my name, his horn will be exalted.
Darei a Davi um reino que vai desde o mar Mediterrâneo até o rio Eufrates.
Asimismo pondré su mano en la mar, y en los ríos su diestra.
I will set his hand also in the sea, and his right hand in the rivers.

Ele me agradecerá dizendo: ‘O Senhor é o meu Pai, o meu Deus, a Rocha onde eu encontro a salvação!’
El me llamará: Mi padre eres tú, mi Dios, y la roca de mi salud.
He shall cry unto me, Thou art my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation.
He will call to me, ‘You are my Father, my God, and the rock of my salvation!’
Por isso, darei a ele as honras de meu primeiro filho, e farei dele o rei mais poderoso em toda a terra.
Yo también le pondré por primogénito, alto sobre los reyes de la tierra.
Also I will make him my firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth.
I will also appoint him my firstborn, the highest of the kings of the earth.
O meu amor fiel por ele permanecerá para sempre; a minha aliança com ele jamais será quebrada.
Para siempre le conservaré mi misericordia; y mi alianza será firme con él.
My mercy will I keep for him for evermore, and my covenant shall stand fast with him.
I will keep my loving kindness for him forever more. My covenant will stand firm with him.
Sua família nunca acabará; ele sempre terá um herdeiro para ocupar o seu trono, que será eterno como os céus.
Y pondré su simiente para siempre, y su trono como los días de los cielos.
His seed also will I make to endure for ever, and his throne as the days of heaven.

“Se os seus filhos e netos desprezarem a minha lei e não andarem nos meus caminhos,
Si dejaren sus hijos mi ley, y no anduvieren en mis juicios;
If his children forsake my law, and walk not in my judgments;
If his children forsake my law, and don’t walk in my ordinances;
se não derem importância às minhas ordens escritas e desobedecerem aos meus mandamentos,
Si profanaren mis estatutos, y no guardaren mis mandamientos;
If they break my statutes, and keep not my commandments;
if they break my statutes, and don’t keep my commandments;
então eu mesmo castigarei com varas a sua desobediência e com chicotadas o seu pecado;
Entonces visitaré con vara su rebelión, y con azotes sus iniquidades.
Then will I visit their transgression with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes.
then I will punish their sin with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes.
mas isso não significa que meu amor para com eles terminou, nem que deixarei de ser fiel à minha aliança com Davi.
Mas no quitaré de él mi misericordia, ni falsearé mi verdad.
Nevertheless my lovingkindness will I not utterly take from him, nor suffer my faithfulness to fail.
But I will not completely take my loving kindness from him, nor allow my faithfulness to fail.
Não! Jamais quebrarei a minha aliança e nunca voltarei atrás em uma só das promessas feitas a ele.
No olvidaré mi pacto, ni mudaré lo que ha salido de mis labios.
My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.
I will not break my covenant, nor alter what my lips have uttered.
Porque eu fiz esta promessa solene, com base na minha santidade, e não mentirei a Davi;
Una vez he jurado por mi santidad, que no mentiré á David.
Once have I sworn by my holiness that I will not lie unto David.
Once I have sworn by my holiness, I will not lie to David.
que a sua linhagem seja eterna e o seu trono permaneça para sempre diante de mim, como o sol,
Su simiente será para siempre, y su trono como el sol delante de mí.
His seed shall endure for ever, and his throne as the sun before me.
His offspring will endure forever, his throne like the sun before me.
pois será estabelecido para sempre como a lua, a fiel testemunha no céu”.

Por que, então, abandonou o seu escolhido? Por que ficou tão furioso com o seu ungido?
Mas tú desechaste y menospreciaste á tu ungido; y te has airado con él.
But thou hast cast off and abhorred, thou hast been wroth with thine anointed.
But you have rejected and spurned. You have been angry with your anointed.
Por que deixou de lado a aliança feita com o seu servo? A coroa do rei ficou sem valor, pois foi jogada na lama.
Rompiste el pacto de tu siervo; has profanado su corona hasta la tierra.
Thou hast made void the covenant of thy servant: thou hast profaned his crown by casting it to the ground.
You have renounced the covenant of your servant. You have defiled his crown in the dust.
Os muros de nossa capital e as nossas fortalezas foram reduzidos a ruínas.
Aportillaste todos sus vallados; has quebrantado sus fortalezas.
Thou hast broken down all his hedges; thou hast brought his strong holds to ruin.
You have broken down all his hedges. You have brought his strongholds to ruin.
Quem passa por perto de nós leva um pouco do que sobrou, e todos os nossos vizinhos zombam de nós.
Menoscabáronle todos los que pasaron por el camino: es oprobio á sus vecinos.
All that pass by the way spoil him: he is a reproach to his neighbours.
All who pass by the way rob him. He has become a reproach to his neighbors.
O Senhor deu força aos inimigos do rei, e eles se alegraram com a nossa derrota.
Has ensalzado la diestra de sus enemigos; has alegrado á todos sus adversarios.
Thou hast set up the right hand of his adversaries; thou hast made all his enemies to rejoice.
You have exalted the right hand of his adversaries. You have made all of his enemies rejoice.
Tornou as nossas armas inúteis e não ajudou o rei na hora da batalha.
Embotaste asimismo el filo de su espada, y no lo levantaste en la batalla.
Thou hast also turned the edge of his sword, and hast not made him to stand in the battle.

O Senhor apagou o seu brilho glorioso e derrubou o seu trono no chão.

Fez o rei envelhecer depressa demais e o cobriu com um manto de vergonha e humilhação.

Ó Senhor, até quando esta situação vai continuar? O Senhor ficará escondido de nós para sempre? O fogo da sua ira nunca irá se apagar?
¿Hasta cuándo, oh Jehová? ¿te esconderás para siempre? ¿arderá tu ira como el fuego?
How long, LORD? wilt thou hide thyself for ever? shall thy wrath burn like fire?
How long, LORD? Will you hide yourself forever? Will your wrath burn like fire?
Lembre-se, Senhor, de como a minha vida é passageira! Será que o Senhor criou o homem sem motivo, sem um propósito para a vida?
Acuérdate de cuán corto sea mi tiempo: ¿por qué habrás criado en vano á todos los hijos del hombre?
Remember how short my time is: wherefore hast thou made all men in vain?
Remember how short my time is, for what vanity you have created all the children of men!
Todos os homens terão de enfrentar a morte um dia; ninguém vive aqui para sempre! Quem é capaz de livrar-se das garras da morte?

Lembre-se, Senhor, da vergonha que os seus servos estão passando. Meu coração está carregado com as ofensas de todos os povos,
Señor, acuérdate del oprobio de tus siervos; oprobio que llevo yo en mi seno de muchos pueblos.
Remember, Lord, the reproach of thy servants; how I do bear in my bosom the reproach of all the mighty people;

das zombarias dos seus inimigos, ó Senhor, com que se divertem, humilhando o nosso rei, seu escolhido.
Porque tus enemigos, oh Jehová, han deshonrado, porque tus enemigos han deshonrado los pasos de tu ungido.
Wherewith thine enemies have reproached, O LORD; wherewith they have reproached the footsteps of thine anointed.
