De la boca de los niños y de los que están aún pendientes del pecho de sus madres, hiciste tú salir perfecta alabanza, por razón de tus enemigos, para destruir al enemigo y al vengativo.
De la boca de los chiquitos y de los que maman, fundaste la fortaleza, á causa de tus enemigos, para hacer cesar al enemigo, y al que se venga.
Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.
From the lips of babes and infants you have established strength, because of your adversaries, that you might silence the enemy and the avenger.
Yo contemplo tus cielos, obra de tus dedos, la luna y las estrellas que tú creaste, y exclamo:

When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;

¿Qué es el hombre, para que tú te acuerdes de él? ¿O que es el hijo del hombre, para que vengas a visitarlo?
Digo: ¿Qué es el hombre, para que tengas de él memoria, y el hijo del hombre, que lo visites?
What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
what is man, that you think of him? What is the son of man, that you care for him?
Lo hiciste un poco inferior a los ángeles, lo coronaste de gloria y de honor,
Pues le has hecho poco menor que los ángeles, y coronástelo de gloria y de lustre.
For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.

y le has dado el mando sobre las obras de tus manos.
Hicístelo enseñorear de las obras de tus manos; todo lo pusiste debajo de sus pies:
