Al ardor de tu ira hemos desfallecido, y a la fuerza de tu furor quedamos consumidos.

Has colocado nuestras maldades delante de tus ojos, y nuestra conducta al resplandor de tu semblante.

Por eso todos nuestros días se han desvanecido, y nosotros venimos a fallecer por tu enojo. Como una tela de araña serán considerados nuestros años.
Porque todos nuestros días declinan á causa de tu ira; acabamos nuestros años como un pensamiento.
For all our days are passed away in thy wrath: we spend our years as a tale that is told.

Setenta años son los días de nuestra vida; cuando más, ochenta años en los muy robustos; lo que pasa de aquí, achaques y dolencias. Según esto, presto seremos arrebatados, pues va llegando ya la debilidad de la vejez.

Danos, pues, a conocer el poder de tu diestra, y concédenos un corazón instruido en la sabiduría.
Enséñanos de tal modo á contar nuestros días, que traigamos al corazón sabiduría.
So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.

Vuélvete hacia nosotros, Señor. ¿Hasta cuándo te mostrarás airado? Sé tú compasivo para con tus siervos.

Y sea la luz de Jehová nuestro Dios sobre nosotros: y ordena en nosotros la obra de nuestras manos, la obra de nuestras manos confirma.
And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.
Let the favor of the Lord our God be on us. Establish the work of our hands for us. Yes, establish the work of our hands.
