Salmo: Canción para el día del Sábado. BUENO es alabar á Jehová, y cantar salmos á tu nombre, oh Altísimo;
It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High:
It is a good thing to give thanks to the LORD, to sing praises to your name, Most High,
Anunciar por la mañana tu misericordia Y tu fidelidad cada noche
Anunciar por la mañana tu misericordia, y tu verdad en las noches,
To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night,
to proclaim your loving kindness in the morning, and your faithfulness every night,
Con el decacordio y el salterio, Con el armonioso tono del arpa.
En el decacordio y en el salterio, en tono suave con el arpa.
Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound.
with the ten-stringed lute, with the harp, and with the melody of the lyre.
Porque Tú, oh Yavé, me alegraste con lo que hiciste. Por las obras de tus manos doy gritos de júbilo.
Por cuanto me has alegrado, oh Jehová, con tus obras; en las obras de tus manos me gozo.
For thou, LORD, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.
For you, LORD, have made me glad through your work. I will triumph in the works of your hands.
¡Cuán grandes son tus obras, oh Yavé! Tus pensamientos son muy profundos.
¡Cuán grandes son tus obras, oh Jehová! Muy profundos son tus pensamientos.
O LORD, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep.
How great are your works, LORD! Your thoughts are very deep.
El hombre necio no sabe Y el insensato no entiende esto:
El hombre necio no sabe, y el insensato no entiende esto:
A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this.
A senseless man doesn’t know, neither does a fool understand this:
Que cuando los perversos brotan como hierba, Y florecen todos los que hacen iniquidad, Solo sucede para que sean destruidos eternamente.
Que brotan los impíos como la hierba, y florecen todos los que obran iniquidad, para ser destruídos para siempre.
When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever:
though the wicked spring up as the grass, and all the evildoers flourish, they will be destroyed forever.
Pero Tú, oh Yavé, eres altísimo para siempre.
Mas tú, Jehová, para siempre eres Altísimo.
But thou, LORD, art most high for evermore.
But you, LORD, are on high forever more.
Porque ya veo que tus enemigos, oh Yavé, Ya veo que tus enemigos perecen. Son dispersados todos los obradores de iniquidad.
Porque he aquí tus enemigos, oh Jehová, porque he aquí, perecerán tus enemigos; serán disipados todos los que obran maldad.
For, lo, thine enemies, O LORD, for, lo, thine enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.
For behold, your enemies, LORD, for behold, your enemies shall perish. All the evildoers will be scattered.
Pero Tú aumentarás mi fuerza como la del búfalo. Seré ungido con aceite fresco.
Empero tú ensalzarás mi cuerno como el de unicornio: seré ungido con aceite fresco.
But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.
But you have exalted my horn like that of the wild ox. I am anointed with fresh oil.
Y mis ojos mirarán por encima de mis enemigos. Mis oídos escucharán Con respecto a los perversos que se levantan contra mí.
Y mirarán mis ojos sobre mis enemigos: oirán mis oídos de los que se levantaron contra mí, de los malignos.
Mine eye also shall see my desire on mine enemies, and mine ears shall hear my desire of the wicked that rise up against me.
My eye has also seen my enemies. My ears have heard of the wicked enemies who rise up against me.
El justo florecerá como la palmera. Crecerá como un cedro en el Líbano.
El justo florecerá como la palma: crecerá como cedro en el Líbano.
The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree. He will grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
Plantados en la Casa de Yavé, Florecerán en los patios de nuestro ʼElohim.
Plantados en la casa de Jehová, en los atrios de nuestro Dios florecerán.
Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.
They are planted in the LORD’s house. They will flourish in our God’s courts.
Aun en la vejez darán fruto. Estarán llenos de savia y muy verdes
Aun en la vejez fructificarán; estarán vigorosos y verdes;
They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;
They will still produce fruit in old age. They will be full of sap and green,
Para manifestar que Yavé es recto. Mi Roca es. En Él no hay injusticia.
Para anunciar que Jehová mi fortaleza es recto, y que en él no hay injusticia.
To shew that the LORD is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.
