Levanta-te, juiz da terra! Dá aos orgulhosos o que eles merecem.
Ensálzate, oh Juez de la tierra: da el pago á los soberbios.
Lift up thyself, thou judge of the earth: render a reward to the proud.
Rise up, you judge of the earth. Pay back the proud what they deserve.
Até quando os ímpios, Yahweh, até quando os ímpios se alegrarão?
¿Hasta cuándo los impíos, hasta cuándo, oh Jehová, se gozarán los impíos?

Eles proferem palavras arrogantes; Todos aqueles que praticam o mal se orgulham.
¿Hasta cuándo pronunciarán, hablarán cosas duras, y se vanagloriarán todos los que obran iniquidad?
How long shall they utter and speak hard things? and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?
They pour out arrogant words. All the evildoers boast.
Eles esmagam o Teu povo, Yahweh; eles afligem as nações que pertencem a Ti.
A tu pueblo, oh Jehová, quebrantan, y á tu heredad afligen.
They break in pieces thy people, O LORD, and afflict thine heritage.
They break your people in pieces, LORD, and afflict your heritage.
Eles matam a viúva e o estrangeiro, e assassinam o órfão.
A la viuda y al extanjero matan, y á los huérfanos quitan la vida.
They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless.
They kill the widow and the alien, and murder the fatherless.
Eles dizem: "Yahweh não verá, o Deus de Jacó não terá conhecimento disso."
Y dijeron: No verá JAH, ni entenderá el Dios de Jacob.
Yet they say, The LORD shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard it.
They say, “The LORD will not see, neither will Jacob’s God consider.”
Entendei, ó estúpidos! E vós, tolos, quando tereis sabedoria?
Entended, necios del pueblo; y vosotros fatuos, ¿cuándo seréis sabios?
Understand, ye brutish among the people: and ye fools, when will ye be wise?
Consider, you senseless among the people; you fools, when will you be wise?
Aquele que fez os ouvidos não ouvirá? Aquele que formou os olhos não verá?
El que plantó el oído, ¿no oirá? el que formó el ojo, ¿no verá?
He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?
He who implanted the ear, won’t he hear? He who formed the eye, won’t he see?
Aquele que disciplina as nações não corrige? É Ele que dá conhecimento ao homem.
El que castiga las gentes, ¿no reprenderá? ¿no sabrá el que enseña al hombre la ciencia?
He that chastiseth the heathen, shall not he correct? he that teacheth man knowledge, shall not he know?
He who disciplines the nations, won’t he punish? He who teaches man knows.
Yahweh conhece os pensamentos dos homens, que são como um sopro.
Jehová conoce los pensamientos de los hombres, que son vanidad.
The LORD knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.

Abençoado é aquele a quem Tu repreendes, Yahweh, aquele a quem ensinas a Tua lei.
Bienaventurado el hombre á quien tú, JAH, castigares, y en tu ley lo instruyeres;
Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O LORD, and teachest him out of thy law;

Tu dás a ele descanso em tempos de dificuldade, até que se abra a cova para o ímpio.
Para tranquilizarle en los días de aflicción, en tanto que para el impío se cava el hoyo.
That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be digged for the wicked.

Porque Yahweh não renunciará ao Seu povo ou abandonará a Sua herança.
Porque no dejará Jehová su pueblo, ni desamparará su heredad;
For the LORD will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.

Pois o julgamento será novamente justo; e todos os retos de coração o seguirão.
Sino que el juicio será vuelto á justicia, y en pos de ella irán todos los rectos de corazón.
But judgment shall return unto righteousness: and all the upright in heart shall follow it.

Quem se levantará para me defender contra os malfeitores? Quem se levantará por mim contra os perversos?

Se Yahweh não tivesse sido minha ajuda, em breve eu estaria deitado no lugar do silêncio.
Si no me ayudara Jehová, presto morara mi alma en el silencio.
Unless the LORD had been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence.

Quando eu disse: "Meu pé escorrega", Teu amor leal, Yahweh, me sustentou.

Pode um trono de iniquidade, o qual cria injustiça em nome da lei, associar-se Contigo?
¿Juntaráse contigo el trono de iniquidades, que forma agravio en el mandamiento?
Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee, which frameth mischief by a law?
Shall the throne of wickedness have fellowship with you, which brings about mischief by statute?
Eles conspiram juntos para tirar a vida do justo, e condenam o inocente à morte.
Pónense en corros contra la vida del justo, y condenan la sangre inocente.

Ele lhes trará a sua própria iniquidade e os destruirá em sua própria maldade. Yahweh, nosso Deus, os exterminará.

And he shall bring upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own wickedness; yea, the LORD our God shall cut them off.
