JEHOVÁ, Dios de las venganzas, Dios de las venganzas, muéstrate.
O LORD God, to whom vengeance belongeth; O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, shew thyself.
LORD, you God to whom vengeance belongs, you God to whom vengeance belongs, shine out.
Levántate, Juez de la tierra. Dales su merecido a los soberbios.
Ensálzate, oh Juez de la tierra: da el pago á los soberbios.
Lift up thyself, thou judge of the earth: render a reward to the proud.
Rise up, you judge of the earth. Pay back the proud what they deserve.
Señor, ¿hasta cuándo se le permitirá al malvado que se burle?
¿Hasta cuándo los impíos, hasta cuándo, oh Jehová, se gozarán los impíos?
LORD, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph?
LORD, how long will the wicked, how long will the wicked triumph?
¡Escucha su arrogancia! ¡Cómo se vanaglorian estos malvados!
¿Hasta cuándo pronunciarán, hablarán cosas duras, y se vanagloriarán todos los que obran iniquidad?
How long shall they utter and speak hard things? and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?
They pour out arrogant words. All the evildoers boast.
Mira cómo oprimen a tu pueblo; oh Señor; lastimando a los que amas.
A tu pueblo, oh Jehová, quebrantan, y á tu heredad afligen.
They break in pieces thy people, O LORD, and afflict thine heritage.
They break your people in pieces, LORD, and afflict your heritage.
Matan a las viudas y a los extranjeros; a los huérfanos los asesinan.
A la viuda y al extanjero matan, y á los huérfanos quitan la vida.
They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless.
They kill the widow and the alien, and murder the fatherless.
Y hasta dicen: «El Señor no ve; al Dios de Israel no le importa».
Y dijeron: No verá JAH, ni entenderá el Dios de Jacob.
Yet they say, The LORD shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard it.
They say, “The LORD will not see, neither will Jacob’s God consider.”
Entiendan esto, gente necia; ¿cuándo, insensatos, lo van a comprender?
Entended, necios del pueblo; y vosotros fatuos, ¿cuándo seréis sabios?
Understand, ye brutish among the people: and ye fools, when will ye be wise?
Consider, you senseless among the people; you fools, when will you be wise?
¿Será sordo el que hizo las orejas? ¿Estará ciego el que formó los ojos?
El que plantó el oído, ¿no oirá? el que formó el ojo, ¿no verá?
He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?
He who implanted the ear, won’t he hear? He who formed the eye, won’t he see?
Él castiga a las naciones; ¿no los castigará a ustedes también? Él lo sabe todo; ¿no sabrá también lo que están naciendo?
El que castiga las gentes, ¿no reprenderá? ¿no sabrá el que enseña al hombre la ciencia?
He that chastiseth the heathen, shall not he correct? he that teacheth man knowledge, shall not he know?
He who disciplines the nations, won’t he punish? He who teaches man knows.
El Señor conoce los pensamientos humanos, y sabe que son inútiles.
Jehová conoce los pensamientos de los hombres, que son vanidad.
The LORD knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.
The LORD knows the thoughts of man, that they are futile.
Dichosos aquellos a los que tu corriges, Señor; a los que tú instruyes en tu ley.
Bienaventurado el hombre á quien tú, JAH, castigares, y en tu ley lo instruyeres;
Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O LORD, and teachest him out of thy law;
Blessed is the man whom you discipline, LORD, and teach out of your law,
Tú les das tranquilidad en tiempos de angustia mientras que al malvado se le cava una fosa.
Para tranquilizarle en los días de aflicción, en tanto que para el impío se cava el hoyo.
That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be digged for the wicked.
that you may give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit is dug for the wicked.
El Señor no abandonará a su pueblo; porque son su especial propiedad.
Porque no dejará Jehová su pueblo, ni desamparará su heredad;
For the LORD will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.
For the LORD won’t reject his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.
El juicio volverá a ser justo y todos los de recto corazón tendrán su recompensa.
Sino que el juicio será vuelto á justicia, y en pos de ella irán todos los rectos de corazón.
But judgment shall return unto righteousness: and all the upright in heart shall follow it.

¿Quién me protegerá de los malvados? ¿Quién estará de mi parte en contra de los malhechores?
¿Quién se levantará por mí contra los malignos? ¿quién estará por mí contra los que obran iniquidad?
Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?

Si el Señor no me hubiera ayudado, yo habría muerto.
Si no me ayudara Jehová, presto morara mi alma en el silencio.
Unless the LORD had been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence.

Yo grité: «¡Me resbalo, Señor!» y tu gran amor, Señor, me sostuvo.
Cuando yo decía: Mi pie resbala: tu misericordia, oh Jehová, me sustentaba.
When I said, My foot slippeth; thy mercy, O LORD, held me up.
When I said, “My foot is slipping!” Your loving kindness, LORD, held me up.
Señor, cuando en mí la angustia iba en aumento, tu consuelo llenaba mi alma de alegría.
En la multitud de mis pensamientos dentro de mí, tus consolaciones alegraban mi alma.
In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul.

¿Pueden los gobernantes injustos decir que tú estás de su parte; gobernantes que se apoyan en sus propias leyes para hacer maldad?
¿Juntaráse contigo el trono de iniquidades, que forma agravio en el mandamiento?
Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee, which frameth mischief by a law?
Shall the throne of wickedness have fellowship with you, which brings about mischief by statute?
Ellos acusan a la gente recta y condenan a muerte al inocente.
Pónense en corros contra la vida del justo, y condenan la sangre inocente.
They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood.

El Señor es mi fortaleza; mi Dios es la gran roca donde puedo refugiarme.
Mas Jehová me ha sido por refugio; y mi Dios por roca de mi confianza.

Dios ha hecho que los pecados de los malvados se vuelvan contra ellos mismos. Él los destruirá por sus pecados. El Señor nuestro Dios los destruirá.
Y él hará tornar sobre ellos su iniquidad, y los destruirá por su propia maldad; los talará Jehová nuestro Dios.
And he shall bring upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own wickedness; yea, the LORD our God shall cut them off.
He has brought on them their own iniquity, and will cut them off in their own wickedness. The LORD, our God, will cut them off.
