Y YO me paré sobre la arena del mar, y vi una bestia subir del mar, que tenía siete cabezas y diez cuernos; y sobre sus cuernos diez diademas; y sobre las cabezas de ella nombre de blasfemia.

And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.

Y vi una de sus cabezas como herida de muerte, y la llaga de su muerte fué curada: y se maravilló toda la tierra en pos de la bestia.
And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.
One of his heads looked like it had been wounded fatally. His fatal wound was healed, and the whole earth marveled at the beast.
und man betete den Drachen an, weil er dem Tiere die Macht gegeben hatte, und man betete das Tier an und sagte: »Wer ist dem Tiere gleich, und wer kann den Kampf mit ihm aufnehmen?«
Y adoraron al dragón que había dado la potestad á la bestia, y adoraron á la bestia, diciendo: ¿Quién es semejante á la bestia, y quién podrá lidiar con ella?

And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.

Da öffnete es sein Maul zu Lästerungen gegen Gott, um seinen Namen und sein Zelt, nämlich die, welche ihre Wohnung im Himmel haben, zu lästern.

So werden ihn denn alle Bewohner der Erde anbeten, alle, deren Namen nicht im Lebensbuche des geschlachteten Lammes seit Grundlegung der Welt geschrieben stehen.
Y todos los que moran en la tierra le adoraron, cuyos nombres no están escritos en el libro de la vida del Cordero, el cual fué muerto desde el principio del mundo.
And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
All who dwell on the earth will worship him, everyone whose name has not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who has been killed.

El que lleva en cautividad, va en cautividad: el que á cuchillo matare, es necesario que á cuchillo sea muerto. Aquí está la paciencia y la fe de los santos.
He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.
If anyone is to go into captivity, he will go into captivity. If anyone is to be killed with the sword, he must be killed. Here is the endurance and the faith of the saints.
Weiter sah ich ein anderes Tier aus der Erde heraufkommen, das hatte zwei Hörner gleich einem Lamm, redete jedoch wie ein Drache;
Después vi otra bestia que subía de la tierra; y tenía dos cuernos semejantes á los de un cordero, mas hablaba como un dragón.
And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.

und es übt die ganze Macht des ersten Tieres vor dessen Augen aus und bringt die Erde und ihre Bewohner dahin, daß sie das erste Tier anbeten, dessen Todeswunde geheilt worden war.

Y hace grandes señales, de tal manera que aun hace descender fuego del cielo á la tierra delante de los hombres.

und es verführt die Bewohner der Erde durch die Wunderzeichen, die es infolge der ihm verliehenen Gabe vor den Augen des (ersten) Tieres vollführt, indem es die Bewohner der Erde dazu beredet, dem Tiere, das die Schwertwunde hat und wieder aufgelebt ist, ein Bild anzufertigen.
Y engaña á los moradores de la tierra por las señales que le ha sido dado hacer en presencia de la bestia, mandando á los moradores de la tierra que hagan la imagen de la bestia que tiene la herida de cuchillo, y vivió.
And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
He deceives my own people who dwell on the earth because of the signs he was granted to do in front of the beast, saying to those who dwell on the earth that they should make an image to the beast who had the sword wound and lived.

And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
He causes all, the small and the great, the rich and the poor, and the free and the slave, to be given marks on their right hands or on their foreheads;
und niemand soll etwas kaufen oder verkaufen dürfen, der nicht das Malzeichen an sich trägt, nämlich den Namen des Tieres oder die Zahl seines Namens.
Y que ninguno pudiese comprar ó vender, sino el que tuviera la señal, ó el nombre de la bestia, ó el número de su nombre.
And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
and that no one would be able to buy or to sell unless he has that mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name.
Hier kann sich wahre Klugheit zeigen. Wer Verstand besitzt, rechne die Zahl des Tieres aus; sie ist nämlich die Zahl eines Menschen(namens), und seine Zahl ist sechshundertsechsundsechzig.
