1Je regardai, et voici, l’agneau se tenait sur la montagne de Sion, et avec lui cent quarante-quatre mille personnes, qui avaient son nom et le nom de son Père écrits sur leurs fronts.
2Et j’entendis du ciel une voix, comme un bruit de grosses eaux, comme le bruit d’un grand tonnerre; et la voix que j’entendis était comme celle de joueurs de harpes jouant de leurs harpes.
3Et ils chantent un cantique nouveau devant le trône, et devant les quatre êtres vivants et les vieillards. Et personne ne pouvait apprendre le cantique, si ce n’est les cent quarante-quatre mille, qui avaient été rachetés de la terre.
4Ce sont ceux qui ne se sont pas souillés avec des femmes, car ils sont vierges; ils suivent l’agneau partout où il va. Ils ont été rachetés d’entre les hommes, comme des prémices pour Dieu et pour l’agneau;
5et dans leur bouche il ne s’est point trouvé de mensonge, car ils sont irrépréhensibles.
6Je vis un autre ange qui volait par le milieu du ciel, ayant un Évangile éternel, pour l’annoncer aux habitants de la terre, à toute nation, à toute tribu, à toute langue, et à tout peuple.
7Il disait d’une voix forte: Craignez Dieu, et donnez-lui gloire, car l’heure de son jugement est venue; et adorez celui qui a fait le ciel, et la terre, et la mer, et les sources d’eaux.
8Et un autre, un second ange suivit, en disant: Elle est tombée, elle est tombée, Babylone la grande, qui a abreuvé toutes les nations du vin de la fureur de son impudicité!
9Et un autre, un troisième ange les suivit, en disant d’une voix forte: Si quelqu’un adore la bête et son image, et reçoit une marque sur son front ou sur sa main,
10il boira, lui aussi, du vin de la fureur de Dieu, versé sans mélange dans la coupe de sa colère, et il sera tourmenté dans le feu et le soufre, devant les saints anges et devant l’agneau.
11Et la fumée de leur tourment monte aux siècles des siècles; et ils n’ont de repos ni jour ni nuit, ceux qui adorent la bête et son image, et quiconque reçoit la marque de son nom.
12C’est ici la persévérance des saints, qui gardent les commandements de Dieu et la foi de Jésus.
13Et j’entendis du ciel une voix qui disait: Écris: Heureux dès à présent les morts qui meurent dans le Seigneur! Oui, dit l’Esprit, afin qu’ils se reposent de leurs travaux, car leurs œuvres les suivent.
14Je regardai, et voici, il y avait une nuée blanche, et sur la nuée était assis quelqu’un qui ressemblait à un fils d’homme, ayant sur sa tête une couronne d’or, et dans sa main une faucille tranchante.
15Et un autre ange sortit du temple, criant d’une voix forte à celui qui était assis sur la nuée: Lance ta faucille, et moissonne; car l’heure de moissonner est venue, car la moisson de la terre est mûre.
16Et celui qui était assis sur la nuée jeta sa faucille sur la terre. Et la terre fut moissonnée.
17Et un autre ange sortit du temple qui est dans le ciel, ayant, lui aussi, une faucille tranchante.
18Et un autre ange, qui avait autorité sur le feu, sortit de l’autel, et s’adressa d’une voix forte à celui qui avait la faucille tranchante, disant: Lance ta faucille tranchante, et vendange les grappes de la vigne de la terre; car les raisins de la terre sont mûrs.
19Et l’ange jeta sa faucille sur la terre. Et il vendangea la vigne de la terre, et jeta la vendange dans la grande cuve de la colère de Dieu.
20Et la cuve fut foulée hors de la ville; et du sang sortit de la cuve, jusqu’aux mors des chevaux, sur une étendue de mille six cents stades.

1Y MIRÉ, y he aquí, el Cordero estaba sobre el monte de Sión, y con él ciento cuarenta y cuatro mil, que tenían el nombre de su Padre escrito en sus frentes.
2Y oí una voz del cielo como ruido de muchas aguas, y como sonido de un gran trueno: y oí una voz de tañedores de arpas que tañían con sus arpas:
3Y cantaban como un cántico nuevo delante del trono, y delante de los cuatro animales, y de los ancianos: y ninguno podía aprender el cántico sino aquellos ciento cuarenta y cuatro mil, los cuales fueron comprados de entre los de la tierra.
4Estos son los que con mujeres no fueron contaminados; porque son vírgenes. Estos, los que siguen al Cordero por donde quiera que fuere. Estos fueron comprados de entre los hombres por primicias para Dios y para el Cordero.
5Y en sus bocas no ha sido hallado engaño; porque ellos son sin mácula delante del trono de Dios.
6Y vi otro ángel volar por en medio del cielo, que tenía el evangelio eterno para predicarlo á los que moran en la tierra, y á toda nación y tribu y lengua y pueblo,
7Diciendo en alta voz: Temed á Dios, y dadle honra; porque la hora de su juicio es venida; y adorad á aquel que ha hecho el cielo y la tierra y el mar y las fuentes de las aguas.
8Y otro ángel le siguió, diciendo: Ha caído, ha caído Babilonia, aquella grande ciudad, porque ella ha dado á beber á todas las naciones del vino del furor de su fornicación.
9Y el tercer ángel los siguió, diciendo en alta voz: Si alguno adora á la bestia y á su imagen, y toma la señal en su frente, ó en su mano,
10Este también beberá del vino de la ira de Dios, el cual está echado puro en el cáliz de su ira; y será atormentado con fuego y azufre delante de los santos ángeles, y delante del Cordero:
11Y el humo del tormento de ellos sube para siempre jamás. Y los que adoran á la bestia y á su imagen, no tienen reposo día ni noche, ni cualquiera que tomare la señal de su nombre.
12Aquí está la paciencia de los santos; aquí están los que guardan los mandamientos de Dios, y la fe de Jesús.
13Y oí una voz del cielo que me decía: Escribe: Bienaventurados los muertos que de aquí adelante mueren en el Señor. Sí, dice el Espíritu, que descansarán de sus trabajos; porque sus obras con ellos siguen.
14Y miré, y he aquí una nube blanca; y sobre la nube uno sentado semejante al Hijo del hombre, que tenía en su cabeza una corona de oro, y en su mano una hoz aguda.
15Y otro ángel salió del templo, clamando en alta voz al que estaba sentado sobre la nube: Mete tu hoz, y siega; porque la hora de segar te es venida, porque la mies de la tierra está madura.
16Y el que estaba sentado sobre la nube echó su hoz sobre la tierra, y la tierra fué segada.
17Y salió otro ángel del templo que está en el cielo, teniendo también una hoz aguda.
18Y otro ángel salió del altar, el cual tenía poder sobre el fuego, y clamó con gran voz al que tenía la hoz aguda, diciendo: Mete tu hoz aguda, y vendimia los racimos de la tierra; porque están maduras sus uvas.
19Y el ángel echó su hoz aguda en la tierra, y vendimió la viña de la tierra, y echó la uva en el grande lagar de la ira de Dios.
20Y el lagar fué hollado fuera de la ciudad, y del lagar salió sangre hasta los frenos de los caballos por mil y seiscientos estadios.

1And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father’s name written in their foreheads.
2And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:
3And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.
4These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.
5And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.
6And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,
7Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
8And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.
9And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
10The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
11And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
12Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
13And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.
14And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.
15And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.
16And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.
17And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.
18And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.
19And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.
20And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.
World English Bible
1I saw, and behold, the Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with him a number, one hundred forty-four thousand, having his name and the name of his Father written on their foreheads.
2I heard a sound from heaven like the sound of many waters and like the sound of a great thunder. The sound which I heard was like that of harpists playing on their harps.
3They sing a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders. No one could learn the song except the one hundred forty-four thousand, those who had been redeemed out of the earth.
4These are those who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are those who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These were redeemed by Jesus from among men, the first fruits to God and to the Lamb.
5In their mouth was found no lie, for they are blameless.
6I saw an angel flying in mid heaven, having an eternal Good News to proclaim to those who dwell on the earth—to every nation, tribe, language, and people.
7He said with a loud voice, “Fear the Lord, and give him glory, for the hour of his judgment has come. Worship him who made the heaven, the earth, the sea, and the springs of waters!”
8Another, a second angel, followed, saying, “Babylon the great has fallen, which has made all the nations to drink of the wine of the wrath of her sexual immorality.”
9Another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a great voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand,
10he also will drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is prepared unmixed in the cup of his anger. He will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb.
11The smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever. They have no rest day and night, those who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.
12Here is the perseverance of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.”
13I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Write, ‘Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.’” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “that they may rest from their labors, for their works follow with them.”
14I looked, and saw a white cloud, and on the cloud one sitting like a son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.
15Another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him who sat on the cloud, “Send your sickle and reap, for the hour to reap has come; for the harvest of the earth is ripe!”
16He who sat on the cloud thrust his sickle on the earth, and the earth was reaped.
17Another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven. He also had a sharp sickle.
18Another angel came out from the altar, he who has power over fire, and he called with a great voice to him who had the sharp sickle, saying, “Send your sharp sickle and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth, for the earth’s grapes are fully ripe!”
19The angel thrust his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vintage of the earth and threw it into the great wine press of the wrath of God.
20The wine press was trodden outside of the city, and blood came out of the wine press, up to the bridles of the horses, as far as one thousand six hundred stadia.
