Apocalipsis 17

Um dos sete anjos que tinham derramado as pragas veio falar comigo. “Venha comigo”, disse ele, “e eu lhe mostrarei o que vai acontecer à grande prostituta, que está sentada sobre as muitas águas.

Y VINO uno de los siete ángeles que tenían las siete copas, y habló conmigo, diciéndome: Ven acá, y te mostraré la condenación de la grande ramera, la cual está sentada sobre muchas aguas:

And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:

One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and spoke with me, saying, “Come here. I will show you the judgment of the great prostitute who sits on many waters,

Os reis do mundo tiveram relações imorais com ela, e os habitantes da terra ficaram embriagados com o vinho da imoralidade dela”.

Con la cual han fornicado los reyes de la tierra, y los que moran en la tierra se han embriagado con el vino de su fornicación.

With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.

Então o anjo me levou em espírito ao deserto. Ali eu vi uma mulher sentada numa besta vermelha que tinha sete cabeças e dez chifres, toda coberta de blasfêmias escritas contra Deus.

Y me llevó en Espíritu al desierto; y vi una mujer sentada sobre una bestia bermeja llena de nombres de blasfemia y que tenía siete cabezas y diez cuernos.

So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.

A mulher usava uma roupa de púrpura e escarlata, e estava adornada de joias, feitas de ouro, pedras preciosas e pérolas. Tinha na mão uma taça de ouro cheia de coisas repugnantes e da impureza da sua prostituição.

Y la mujer estaba vestida de púrpura y de escarlata, y dorada con oro, y adornada de piedras preciosas y de perlas, teniendo un cáliz de oro en su mano lleno de abominaciones, y de la suciedad de su fornicación;

And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:

The woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the impurities of the sexual immorality of the earth.

Na testa dela estava escrito um título misterioso: “A Grande Babilônia, Mãe das Prostitutas e da Adoração aos Ídolos em Todos os Lugares ao Redor do Mundo”.

Y en su frente un nombre escrito: MISTERIO, BABILONIA LA GRANDE, LA MADRE DE LAS FORNICACIONES Y DE LAS ABOMINACIONES DE LA TIERRA.

And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

And on her forehead a name was written, “MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF THE PROSTITUTES AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.”

E eu pude ver que ela estava embriagada com o sangue dos mártires de Jesus que ela havia matado. Eu a olhei fixamente, cheio de espanto.

Y vi la mujer embriagada de la sangre de los santos, y de la sangre de los mártires de Jesús: y cuando la vi, quedé maravillado de grande admiración.

And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.

“Por que você está assim tão admirado?”, perguntou o anjo. “Eu lhe direi quem é ela e o que representa a besta sobre a qual está montada, que tem sete cabeças e dez chifres.

Y el ángel me dijo: ¿Por qué te maravillas? Yo te diré el misterio de la mujer, y de la bestia que la trae, la cual tiene siete cabezas y diez cuernos.

And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.

The angel said to me, “Why do you wonder? I will tell you the mystery of the woman and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and the ten horns.

“A besta que você viu era e já não é. E apesar disso, brevemente surgirá do abismo insondável e irá para a destruição eterna; e o povo da terra, cujos nomes não foram escritos no Livro da Vida desde a criação do mundo, ficará atordoado com o reaparecimento da besta, porque ela era, agora não é, e entretanto virá.

La bestia que has visto, fué, y no es; y ha de subir del abismo, y ha de ir á perdición: y los moradores de la tierra, cuyos nombres no están escritos en el libro de la vida desde la fundación del mundo, se maravillarán viendo la bestia que era y no es, aunque es.

The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

The beast that you saw was, and is not; and is about to come up out of the abyss and to go into destruction. Those who dwell on the earth and whose names have not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world will marvel when they see that the beast was, and is not, and shall be present.

“E aqui se exige sabedoria e entendimento: as sete cabeças dela representam certa cidade construída sobre sete montes, onde esta mulher está sentada.

Y aquí hay mente que tiene sabiduría. Las siete cabezas son siete montes, sobre los cuales se asienta la mujer.

And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.

Representam também sete reis. Cinco já caíram, o sexto está governando, e o sétimo ainda virá, mas quando aparecer, precisará governar por pouco tempo.

Y son siete reyes. Los cinco son caídos; el uno es, el otro aun no es venido; y cuando viniere, es necesario que dure breve tiempo.

And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.

A besta que era, e agora não é, é o oitavo rei, tendo reinado antes como um dos sete; depois do seu segundo reinado, ele também seguirá para a perdição.

Y la bestia que era, y no es, es también el octavo, y es de los siete, y va á perdición.

And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.

“Os dez chifres que você viu são dez reis que ainda não subiram ao poder; eles serão nomeados para os seus reinos por um breve momento, para reinarem com a besta.

Y los diez cuernos que has visto, son diez reyes, que aun no han recibido reino; mas tomarán potencia por una hora como reyes con la bestia.

And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.

The ten horns that you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority as kings with the beast for one hour.

Todos eles assinarão um tratado entregando o seu poder e a sua autoridade à besta.

Estos tienen un consejo, y darán su potencia y autoridad á la bestia.

These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.

Juntos eles guerrearão contra o Cordeiro, e o Cordeiro os vencerá; porque ele é o Senhor dos senhores, e Rei dos reis; e vencerão com ele os seus chamados, os escolhidos e fiéis”.

Ellos pelearán contra el Cordero, y el Cordero los vencerá, porque es el Señor de los señores, y el Rey de los reyes: y los que están con él son llamados, y elegidos, y fieles.

These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

These will war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for he is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with him are called, chosen, and faithful.”

Então o anjo também me disse: “As águas que você viu, sobre as quais a mulher prostituta está sentada, são povos, raças, nações e línguas.

Y él me dice: Las aguas que has visto donde la ramera se sienta, son pueblos y muchedumbres y naciones y lenguas.

And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.

He said to me, “The waters which you saw, where the prostitute sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations, and languages.

“A besta e os seus dez chifres que você viu odiarão a prostituta, e a atacarão e a deixarão nua e devastada pelo fogo.

Y los diez cuernos que viste en la bestia, éstos aborrecerán á la ramera, y la harán desolada y desnuda: y comerán sus carnes, y la quemarán con fuego:

And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.

The ten horns which you saw, they and the beast will hate the prostitute, will make her desolate, will strip her naked, will eat her flesh, and will burn her utterly with fire.

Porque Deus lhes porá um plano na mente, um plano que executará os propósitos dele; eles concordarão mutuamente em dar a autoridade deles à besta, para que as palavras de Deus se cumpram.

Porque Dios ha puesto en sus corazones ejecutar lo que le plugo, y el ponerse de acuerdo, y dar su reino á la bestia, hasta que sean cumplidas las palabras de Dios.

For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.

For God has put in their hearts to do what he has in mind, to be of one mind, and to give their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God should be accomplished.

E esta mulher que você viu na sua visão representa a grande cidade que governa sobre os reis da terra”.

Y la mujer que has visto, es la grande ciudad que tiene reino sobre los reyes de la tierra.

And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.

The woman whom you saw is the great city which reigns over the kings of the earth.”
