Quanto ella ha glorificato se stessa ed ha lussureggiato, tanto datele di tormento e di cordoglio. Poiché ella dice in cuor suo: Io seggo regina e non son vedova e non vedrò mai cordoglio,
Cuanto ella se ha glorificado, y ha estado en deleites, tanto dadle de tormento y llanto; porque dice en su corazón: Yo estoy sentada reina, y no soy viuda, y no veré llanto.
How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.
However much she glorified herself and grew wanton, so much give her of torment and mourning. For she says in her heart, ‘I sit a queen, and am no widow, and will in no way see mourning.’
