Wieviel sie sich verherrlichte und schwelgte, so viel gebt ihr Qual und Trauer; weil sie in ihrem Herzen sprach: Ich sitze als Königin, und Witwe bin ich nicht, und Trauer werde ich nicht sehen!
Cuanto ella se ha glorificado, y ha estado en deleites, tanto dadle de tormento y llanto; porque dice en su corazón: Yo estoy sentada reina, y no soy viuda, y no veré llanto.
How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.
However much she glorified herself and grew wanton, so much give her of torment and mourning. For she says in her heart, ‘I sit a queen, and am no widow, and will in no way see mourning.’
