And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.

Y clamó a gran voz, diciendo: Babilonia la grande ha caído, ha caído, ha sido destruida, y ha llegado a ser lugar de espíritus malos, y de todo espíritu inmundo, y albergue de toda ave inmunda y aborrecible.
Y clamó con fortaleza en alta voz, diciendo: Caída es, caída es la grande Babilonia, y es hecha habitación de demonios, y guarida de todo espíritu inmundo, y albergue de todas aves sucias y aborrecibles.
And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.
He cried with a mighty voice, saying, “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, and she has become a habitation of demons, a prison of every unclean spirit, and a prison of every unclean and hated bird!
Porque todas las naciones han bebido del vino de ira de la fornicación, todas las naciones han venido a la perdición; y los reyes de la tierra han cometido fornicación con ella, y los mercaderes de la tierra aumentaron su riqueza por el poder y su exagerado derroche.

For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.

Y otra voz del cielo vino a mis oídos, diciendo: Salgan de ella, pueblo mío, para que no participes en sus pecados y en sus castigos.
Y oí otra voz del cielo, que decía: Salid de ella, pueblo mío, porque no seáis participantes de sus pecados, y que no recibáis de sus plagas;
And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

Porque sus pecados han subido hasta el cielo, y Dios ha tomado nota de su maldad.

Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.

Cuando se dio gloria a sí misma, y se volvió más malvada en sus caminos, en la misma medida dale dolor y llanto; porque dice en su corazón: Yo estoy sentada aquí como reina, y no soy viuda, ni sufriré.
Cuanto ella se ha glorificado, y ha estado en deleites, tanto dadle de tormento y llanto; porque dice en su corazón: Yo estoy sentada reina, y no soy viuda, y no veré llanto.
How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.
However much she glorified herself and grew wanton, so much give her of torment and mourning. For she says in her heart, ‘I sit a queen, and am no widow, and will in no way see mourning.’
Por esta razón, en un día vendrán sus calamidades, muerte, tristeza y hambre; y ella será completamente quemada con fuego; porque poderoso es el Señor Dios que la juzga.

Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.

Y los reyes de la tierra, que han fornicado con ella, y en su compañía se entregaron al mal, llorarán y harán lamentación sobre ella, cuando vean el humo de su incendio,

And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning,
The kings of the earth who committed sexual immorality and lived wantonly with her will weep and wail over her, when they look at the smoke of her burning,
Mirando desde lejos, por miedo de su castigo, diciendo: ¡Ay, Ay por Babilonia, la gran ciudad, la ciudad fuerte! porque en una hora has sido juzgada.
Estando lejos por el temor de su tormento, diciendo: ¡Ay, ay, de aquella gran ciudad de Babilonia, aquella fuerte ciudad; porque en una hora vino tu juicio!
Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.

Y el fruto del deseo de tu alma se ha apartaron de ti, y todos tus lujos y riquezas han llegado a su fin y nunca más las hallarás.

And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all.

Los mercaderes en estas cosas, por las cuales se aumentó su riqueza, estarán mirando lejos por temor a su castigo, llorando y lamentándose;

Diciendo: Ay, ay por la gran ciudad, la que estaba vestida de lino fino, púrpura y rojo; con adornos de oro y piedras preciosas y perlas!

And saying, Alas, alas, that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls!

Porque en una hora tal gran riqueza ha quedado en nada. Y cada capitán de barco, y todos los que navegan en el mar, y los marineros y todos los que se ganan la vida junto al mar, miraban desde lejos,

Y gritaban cuando veían el humo de su incendio, diciendo: ¿Qué ciudad podía compararse a está gran ciudad?
Y viendo el humo de su incendio, dieron voces, diciendo: ¿Qué ciudad era semejante á esta gran ciudad?
And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city!
and cried out as they looked at the smoke of her burning, saying, ‘What is like the great city?’
Y echaron polvo sobre sus cabezas, y se pusieron tristes, llorando y clamando, y diciendo: ¡Ay, Ay por la gran ciudad, en la cual se incrementó la riqueza de todos los que tenían sus barcos en el mar a causa de sus grandes provisiones! porque en una hora ella es hecha basura.
Y echaron polvo sobre sus cabezas; y dieron voces, llorando y lamentando, diciendo: ¡Ay, ay, de aquella gran ciudad, en la cual todos los que tenían navíos en la mar se habían enriquecido de sus riquezas; que en una hora ha sido desolada!
And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.

Y un ángel fuerte tomó una piedra como la gran piedra con la que se trilla el grano, y la arrojó al mar, diciendo: Así que, con una gran caída, Babilonia, la gran ciudad, vendrá a la destrucción, y no será visto más en absoluto.

Y voz de tañedores de arpas, y de músicos, y de tañedores de flautas y de trompetas, no será más oída en ti; y todo artífice de cualquier oficio, no será más hallado en ti; y el sonido de muela no será más en ti oído:
And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee;
The voice of harpists, minstrels, flute players, and trumpeters will be heard no more at all in you. No craftsman of whatever craft will be found any more at all in you. The sound of a mill will be heard no more at all in you.
Y nunca más se verá el brillo de las luces en ti; y la voz del recién casado y la novia nunca más se oirán en ti: porque tus mercaderes fueron los grandes de la tierra, y por tus hechicerías fueron todas las naciones desviadas del camino correcto.
Y luz de antorcha no alumbrará más en ti; y voz de esposo ni de esposa no será más en ti oída; porque tus mercaderes eran los magnates de la tierra; porque en tus hechicerías todas las gentes han errado.
And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.
The light of a lamp will shine no more at all in you. The voice of the bridegroom and of the bride will be heard no more at all in you, for your merchants were the princes of the earth; for with your sorcery all the nations were deceived.
Y en ella fue vista la sangre de los profetas y de los santos, y de todos los que han sido muertos en la tierra.
