Apocalipsis 18

Après ces choses je vis descendre du ciel un autre Ange, qui avait une grande puissance, et la terre fut illuminée de sa gloire.

Y DESPUÉS de estas cosas vi otro ángel descender del cielo teniendo grande potencia; y la tierra fué alumbrada de su gloria.

And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.

After these things, I saw another angel coming down out of the sky, having great authority. The earth was illuminated with his glory.

Il cria avec force à haute voix, et il dit : Elle est tombée, elle est tombée la grande Babylone, et elle est devenue la demeure des Démons, et la retraite de tout esprit immonde, et le repaire de tout oiseau immonde et exécrable.

Y clamó con fortaleza en alta voz, diciendo: Caída es, caída es la grande Babilonia, y es hecha habitación de demonios, y guarida de todo espíritu inmundo, y albergue de todas aves sucias y aborrecibles.

And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.

He cried with a mighty voice, saying, “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, and she has become a habitation of demons, a prison of every unclean spirit, and a prison of every unclean and hated bird!

Car toutes les nations ont bu du vin de sa prostitution effrénée ; et les Rois de la terre ont commis fornication avec elle ; et les marchands de la terre sont devenus riches de l’excès de son luxe.

Porque todas las gentes han bebido del vino del furor de su fornicación; y los reyes de la tierra han fornicado con ella, y los mercaderes de la tierra se han enriquecido de la potencia de sus deleites.

For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.

For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her sexual immorality, the kings of the earth committed sexual immorality with her, and the merchants of the earth grew rich from the abundance of her luxury.”

Puis j’entendis une autre voix du ciel, qui disait : Sortez de Babylone mon peuple, afin que vous ne participiez point à ses péchés, et que vous ne receviez point de ses plaies.

Y oí otra voz del cielo, que decía: Salid de ella, pueblo mío, porque no seáis participantes de sus pecados, y que no recibáis de sus plagas;

And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

Car ses péchés sont montés jusqu’au ciel, et Dieu s’est souvenu de ses iniquités.

Porque sus pecados han llegado hasta el cielo, y Dios se ha acordado de sus maldades.

For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.

for her sins have reached to the sky, and God has remembered her iniquities.

Rendez-lui ainsi qu’elle vous a fait, et payez-lui au double selon ses oeuvres ; et dans la même coupe où elle vous a versé à boire, versez-lui-en au double.

Tornadle á dar como ella os ha dado, y pagadle al doble según sus obras; en el cáliz que ella os dió á beber, dadle á beber doblado.

Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.

Return to her just as she returned, and repay her double as she did, and according to her works. In the cup which she mixed, mix to her double.

Autant qu’elle s’est glorifiée, et qu’elle a été dans les délices, donnez-lui autant de tourment et d’affliction ; car elle dit en son coeur : je siège en Reine, je ne suis point veuve, et je ne verrai point de deuil.

Cuanto ella se ha glorificado, y ha estado en deleites, tanto dadle de tormento y llanto; porque dice en su corazón: Yo estoy sentada reina, y no soy viuda, y no veré llanto.

How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.

However much she glorified herself and grew wanton, so much give her of torment and mourning. For she says in her heart, ‘I sit a queen, and am no widow, and will in no way see mourning.’

C’est pourquoi ses plaies, qui sont la mort, le deuil, et la famine, viendront en un même jour, et elle sera entièrement brûlée au feu ; car le Seigneur Dieu qui la jugera, est puissant.

Por lo cual en un día vendrán sus plagas, muerte, llanto y hambre, y será quemada con fuego; porque el Señor Dios es fuerte, que la juzgará.

Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.

Therefore in one day her plagues will come: death, mourning, and famine; and she will be utterly burned with fire, for the Lord God who has judged her is strong.

Et les Rois de la terre, qui ont commis fornication avec elle, et qui ont vécu dans les délices, la pleureront, et mèneront deuil sur elle en se battant la poitrine, quand ils verront la fumée de son embrasement ;

Y llorarán y se lamentarán sobre ella los reyes de la tierra, los cuales han fornicado con ella y han vivido en deleites, cuando ellos vieren el humo de su incendio,

And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning,

The kings of the earth who committed sexual immorality and lived wantonly with her will weep and wail over her, when they look at the smoke of her burning,

Et ils se tiendront loin pour la crainte de son tourment, et diront : hélas ! hélas ! Babylone, la grande Cité, cette Cité si puissante, comment ta condamnation est-elle venue en un moment ?

Estando lejos por el temor de su tormento, diciendo: ¡Ay, ay, de aquella gran ciudad de Babilonia, aquella fuerte ciudad; porque en una hora vino tu juicio!

Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.

standing far away for the fear of her torment, saying, ‘Woe, woe, the great city, Babylon, the strong city! For your judgment has come in one hour.’

Les marchands de la terre aussi pleureront, et mèneront deuil à cause d’elle, parce que personne n’achète plus de leur marchandise ;

Y los mercaderes de la tierra lloran y se lamentan sobre ella, porque ninguno compra más sus mercaderías:

And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more:

The merchants of the earth weep and mourn over her, for no one buys their merchandise any more:

Qui sont des marchandises d’or, d’argent, de pierres précieuses, de perles, de fin lin, de pourpre, de soie, d’écarlate, de toute sorte de bois odoriférant, de toute espèce de meubles d’ivoire, et de toute espèce de vaisseaux de bois très précieux, d’airain, de fer, et de marbre ;

Mercadería de oro, y de plata, y de piedras preciosas, y de margaritas, y de lino fino, y de escarlata, y de seda, y de grana, y de toda madera olorosa, y de todo vaso de marfil, y de todo vaso de madera preciosa, y de cobre, y de hierro, y de mármol;

The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble,

merchandise of gold, silver, precious stones, pearls, fine linen, purple, silk, scarlet, all expensive wood, every vessel of ivory, every vessel made of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble;

Du cinnamome, des parfums, des essences, de l’encens, du vin, de l’huile, de la fine fleur de farine, du blé, des bêtes de charge, des brebis, des chevaux, des chariots, des esclaves, et des âmes d’hommes.

Y canela, y olores, y ungüentos, y de incienso, y de vino, y de aceite; y flor de harina y trigo, y de bestias, y de ovejas; y de caballos, y de carros, y de siervos, y de almas de hombres.

And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men.

and cinnamon, incense, perfume, frankincense, wine, olive oil, fine flour, wheat, cattle, sheep, horses, chariots, and people’s bodies and souls.

Car les fruits du désir de ton âme se sont éloignés de toi ; et toutes les choses délicates et excellentes sont péries pour toi ; et dorénavant tu ne trouveras plus ces choses.

Y los frutos del deseo de tu alma se apartaron de ti; y todas las cosas gruesas y excelentes te han faltado, y nunca más las hallarás.

And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all.

The fruits which your soul lusted after have been lost to you. All things that were dainty and sumptuous have perished from you, and you will find them no more at all.

Les marchands, dis-je, de ces choses, qui en sont devenus riches, se tiendront loin d’elle, pour la crainte de son tourment, pleurant et menant deuil ;

Los mercaderes de estas cosas, que se han enriquecido, se pondrán lejos de ella por el temor de su tormento, llorando y lamentando,

The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing,

The merchants of these things, who were made rich by her, will stand far away for the fear of her torment, weeping and mourning,

Et disant : hélas ! hélas ! la grande Cité, qui était vêtue de fin lin, de pourpre, d’écarlate, qui était parée d’or, ornée de pierres précieuses, et de perles, comment en un instant ont été dissipées tant de richesses ?

Y diciendo: ¡Ay, ay, aquella gran ciudad, que estaba vestida de lino fino, y de escarlata, y de grana, y estaba dorada con oro, y adornada de piedras preciosas y de perlas!

And saying, Alas, alas, that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls!

saying, ‘Woe, woe, the great city, she who was dressed in fine linen, purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls!

Tout pilote aussi, toute la troupe de ceux qui montent sur les navires, tous les matelots, et tous ceux qui trafiquent sur la mer, se tiendront loin ;

Porque en una hora han sido desoladas tantas riquezas. Y todo patrón, y todos los que viajan en naves, y marineros, y todos los que trabajan en el mar, se estuvieron lejos;

For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off,

For in an hour such great riches are made desolate.’ Every ship master, and everyone who sails anywhere, and mariners, and as many as gain their living by sea, stood far away,

Et voyant la fumée de son embrasement, ils s’écrieront en disant : quelle cité était semblable à cette grande Cité !

Y viendo el humo de su incendio, dieron voces, diciendo: ¿Qué ciudad era semejante á esta gran ciudad?

And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city!

and cried out as they looked at the smoke of her burning, saying, ‘What is like the great city?’

Ils jetteront de la poussière sur leurs têtes, pleurant, et menant deuil, ils crieront en disant : hélas ! hélas ! la grande Cité, dans laquelle tous ceux qui avaient des navires sur la mer, étaient devenus riches par son opulence ; comment a-t-elle été désolée en un moment ?

Y echaron polvo sobre sus cabezas; y dieron voces, llorando y lamentando, diciendo: ¡Ay, ay, de aquella gran ciudad, en la cual todos los que tenían navíos en la mar se habían enriquecido de sus riquezas; que en una hora ha sido desolada!

And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.

They cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and mourning, saying, ‘Woe, woe, the great city, in which all who had their ships in the sea were made rich by reason of her great wealth!’ For she is made desolate in one hour.

Ô ciel ! réjouis-toi à cause d’elle ; et vous aussi, saints Apôtres et Prophètes réjouissez-vous : car Dieu l’a punie à cause de vous.

Alégrate sobre ella, cielo, y vosotros, santos, apóstoles, y profetas; porque Dios ha vengado vuestra causa en ella.

Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her.

“Rejoice over her, O heaven, you saints, apostles, and prophets, for God has judged your judgment on her.”

Puis un Ange d’une grande force prit une pierre, qui était comme une grande meule, et la jeta dans la mer, en disant : Ainsi sera jetée avec impétuosité Babylone, cette grande Cité ; et elle ne sera plus trouvée.

Y un ángel fuerte tomó una piedra como una grande piedra de molino, y la echó en la mar, diciendo: Con tanto ímpetu será derribada Babilonia, aquella grande ciudad, y nunca jamás será hallada.

And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.

Et la voix des joueurs de harpe, des musiciens, des joueurs de hautbois, et de ceux qui sonnent de la trompette, ne sera plus ouïe en toi ; et tout ouvrier de quelque métier que ce soit, ne sera plus trouvé en toi ; et le bruit de la meule ne sera plus ouï en toi.

Y voz de tañedores de arpas, y de músicos, y de tañedores de flautas y de trompetas, no será más oída en ti; y todo artífice de cualquier oficio, no será más hallado en ti; y el sonido de muela no será más en ti oído:

And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee;

The voice of harpists, minstrels, flute players, and trumpeters will be heard no more at all in you. No craftsman of whatever craft will be found any more at all in you. The sound of a mill will be heard no more at all in you.

Et la lumière de la chandelle ne luira plus en toi ; et la voix de l’époux et de l’épouse ne sera plus ouïe en toi ; parce que tes marchands étaient des Princes en la terre ; et parce que par tes empoisonnements toutes les nations ont été séduites.

Y luz de antorcha no alumbrará más en ti; y voz de esposo ni de esposa no será más en ti oída; porque tus mercaderes eran los magnates de la tierra; porque en tus hechicerías todas las gentes han errado.

And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.

The light of a lamp will shine no more at all in you. The voice of the bridegroom and of the bride will be heard no more at all in you, for your merchants were the princes of the earth; for with your sorcery all the nations were deceived.

Et en elle a été trouvé le sang des Prophètes, et des Saints, et de tous ceux qui ont été mis à mort sur la terre.

Y en ella fué hallada la sangre de los profetas y de los santos, y de todos los que han sido muertos en la tierra.

And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.

In her was found the blood of prophets and of saints, and of all who have been slain on the earth.”
