Y DESPUÉS de estas cosas vi otro ángel descender del cielo teniendo grande potencia; y la tierra fué alumbrada de su gloria.
And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.

Ed egli gridò con voce potente, dicendo: Caduta, caduta è Babilonia la grande, ed è divenuta albergo di demoni e ricetto d’ogni spirito immondo e ricetto d’ogni uccello immondo e abominevole.
Y clamó con fortaleza en alta voz, diciendo: Caída es, caída es la grande Babilonia, y es hecha habitación de demonios, y guarida de todo espíritu inmundo, y albergue de todas aves sucias y aborrecibles.
And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.
He cried with a mighty voice, saying, “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, and she has become a habitation of demons, a prison of every unclean spirit, and a prison of every unclean and hated bird!
Poiché tutte le nazioni han bevuto del vino dell’ira della sua fornicazione, e i re della terra han fornicato con lei, e i mercanti della terra si sono arricchiti con la sua sfrenata lussuria.
Porque todas las gentes han bebido del vino del furor de su fornicación; y los reyes de la tierra han fornicado con ella, y los mercaderes de la tierra se han enriquecido de la potencia de sus deleites.
For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.

Poi udii un’altra voce dal cielo che diceva: Uscite da essa, o popolo mio, affinché non siate partecipi de’ suoi peccati e non abbiate parte alle sue piaghe;

And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

poiché i suoi peccati si sono accumulati fino al cielo e Dio si è ricordato delle iniquità di lei.

For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.

Rendetele il contraccambio di quello ch’ella vi ha fatto, e rendetele al doppio la retribuzione delle sue opere; nel calice in cui ha mesciuto ad altri, mescetele il doppio.
Tornadle á dar como ella os ha dado, y pagadle al doble según sus obras; en el cáliz que ella os dió á beber, dadle á beber doblado.
Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.
Return to her just as she returned, and repay her double as she did, and according to her works. In the cup which she mixed, mix to her double.
Quanto ella ha glorificato se stessa ed ha lussureggiato, tanto datele di tormento e di cordoglio. Poiché ella dice in cuor suo: Io seggo regina e non son vedova e non vedrò mai cordoglio,
Cuanto ella se ha glorificado, y ha estado en deleites, tanto dadle de tormento y llanto; porque dice en su corazón: Yo estoy sentada reina, y no soy viuda, y no veré llanto.
How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.

perciò in uno stesso giorno verranno le sue piaghe, mortalità e cordoglio e fame, e sarà consumata dal fuoco; poiché potente è il Signore Iddio che l’ha giudicata.

E i re della terra che fornicavano e lussureggiavan con lei la piangeranno e faran cordoglio per lei quando vedranno il fumo del suo incendio;
Y llorarán y se lamentarán sobre ella los reyes de la tierra, los cuales han fornicado con ella y han vivido en deleites, cuando ellos vieren el humo de su incendio,
And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning,
The kings of the earth who committed sexual immorality and lived wantonly with her will weep and wail over her, when they look at the smoke of her burning,
e standosene da lungi per tema del suo tormento diranno: Ahi! ahi! Babilonia, la gran città, la potente città! il tuo giudicio è venuto in un momento!
Estando lejos por el temor de su tormento, diciendo: ¡Ay, ay, de aquella gran ciudad de Babilonia, aquella fuerte ciudad; porque en una hora vino tu juicio!
Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.

I mercanti della terra piangeranno e faranno cordoglio per lei, perché nessuno compera più le loro mercanzie:

And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men.

E i frutti che l’anima tua appetiva se ne sono andati lungi da te; e tutte le cose delicate e sontuose son perdute per te e non si troveranno mai più.
Y los frutos del deseo de tu alma se apartaron de ti; y todas las cosas gruesas y excelentes te han faltado, y nunca más las hallarás.
And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all.
The fruits which your soul lusted after have been lost to you. All things that were dainty and sumptuous have perished from you, and you will find them no more at all.
I mercanti di queste cose che sono stati arricchiti da lei se ne staranno da lungi per tema del suo tormento, piangendo e facendo cordoglio, e dicendo:
Los mercaderes de estas cosas, que se han enriquecido, se pondrán lejos de ella por el temor de su tormento, llorando y lamentando,

Ahi! ahi! la gran città ch’era vestita di lino fino e di porpora e di scarlatto, e adorna d’oro e di pietre preziose e di perle! Una cotanta ricchezza è stata devastata in un momento.
Y diciendo: ¡Ay, ay, aquella gran ciudad, que estaba vestida de lino fino, y de escarlata, y de grana, y estaba dorada con oro, y adornada de piedras preciosas y de perlas!
And saying, Alas, alas, that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls!

E tutti i piloti e tutti i naviganti e i marinari e quanti trafficano sul mare se ne staranno da lungi;
Porque en una hora han sido desoladas tantas riquezas. Y todo patrón, y todos los que viajan en naves, y marineros, y todos los que trabajan en el mar, se estuvieron lejos;
For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off,

e vedendo il fumo dell’incendio d’essa esclameranno dicendo: Qual città era simile a questa gran città?
Y viendo el humo de su incendio, dieron voces, diciendo: ¿Qué ciudad era semejante á esta gran ciudad?
And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city!
and cried out as they looked at the smoke of her burning, saying, ‘What is like the great city?’
E si getteranno della polvere sul capo e grideranno, piangendo e facendo cordoglio e dicendo: Ahi! ahi! la gran città nella quale tutti coloro che aveano navi in mare si erano arricchiti con la sua magnificenza! In un momento ella è stata ridotta in un deserto.
Y echaron polvo sobre sus cabezas; y dieron voces, llorando y lamentando, diciendo: ¡Ay, ay, de aquella gran ciudad, en la cual todos los que tenían navíos en la mar se habían enriquecido de sus riquezas; que en una hora ha sido desolada!

Poi un potente angelo sollevò una pietra grossa come una gran macina, e la gettò nel mare dicendo: Così sarà con impeto precipitata Babilonia, la gran città, e non sarà più ritrovata.

E in te non sarà più udito suono di arpisti né di musici né di flautisti né di sonatori di tromba; né sarà più trovato in te artefice alcuno d’arte qualsiasi, né s’udrà più in te rumor di macina.

And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee;
The voice of harpists, minstrels, flute players, and trumpeters will be heard no more at all in you. No craftsman of whatever craft will be found any more at all in you. The sound of a mill will be heard no more at all in you.
E non rilucerà più in te lume di lampada e non s’udrà più in te voce di sposo e di sposa; perché i tuoi mercanti erano i principi della terra, perché tutte le nazioni sono state sedotte dalle tue malìe,
Y luz de antorcha no alumbrará más en ti; y voz de esposo ni de esposa no será más en ti oída; porque tus mercaderes eran los magnates de la tierra; porque en tus hechicerías todas las gentes han errado.
And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.
The light of a lamp will shine no more at all in you. The voice of the bridegroom and of the bride will be heard no more at all in you, for your merchants were the princes of the earth; for with your sorcery all the nations were deceived.
e in lei è stato trovato il sangue dei profeti e dei santi e di tutti quelli che sono stati uccisi sopra la terra.
