»Escríbele al ángel de la iglesia en Éfeso: El que anda en medio de los siete candeleros y el que tiene las siete estrellas en su mano derecha te manda este mensaje:
ESCRIBE al ángel de la iglesia en EFESO: El que tiene las siete estrellas en su diestra, el cual anda en medio de los siete candeleros de oro, dice estas cosas:
Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks;
“To the angel of the assembly in Ephesus write: “He who holds the seven stars in his right hand, he who walks among the seven golden lamp stands says these things:
Estoy al tanto de la obra que realizas. Me he fijado en tu duro trabajo, en la paciencia que tienes. Sé que no toleras a los malvados y que has examinado cuidadosamente a los que se llaman apóstoles y no lo son, y te has dado cuenta de sus mentiras.
Yo sé tus obras, y tu trabajo y paciencia; y que tú no puedes sufrir los malos, y has probado á los que se dicen ser apóstoles, y no lo son, y los has hallado mentirosos;
I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:
“I know your works, and your toil and perseverance, and that you can’t tolerate evil men, and have tested those who call themselves apostles, and they are not, and found them false.
Y sé también que has sufrido por mi causa pacientemente y sin claudicar.
Y has sufrido, y has tenido paciencia, y has trabajado por mi nombre, y no has desfallecido.
And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name’s sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted.
You have perseverance and have endured for my name’s sake, and have not grown weary.
Sin embargo, hay algo malo en ti: ¡Ya no me amas como al principio!
Pero tengo contra ti que has dejado tu primer amor.
Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.
But I have this against you, that you left your first love.
Recuerda de dónde has caído, arrepiéntete y trabaja como lo hacías antes. Si no lo haces, vendré y quitaré tu candelero de su lugar.
Recuerda por tanto de dónde has caído, y arrepiéntete, y haz las primeras obras; pues si no, vendré presto á ti, y quitaré tu candelero de su lugar, si no te hubieres arrepentido.
Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.
Remember therefore from where you have fallen, and repent and do the first works; or else I am coming to you swiftly, and will move your lamp stand out of its place, unless you repent.
Pero hay algo bueno en ti: aborreces tanto como yo las obras de los nicolaítas.
Mas tienes esto, que aborreces los hechos de los Nicolaítas; los cuales yo también aborrezco.
But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.
But this you have, that you hate the works of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.
El que tenga oídos, escuche lo que el Espíritu dice a las iglesias: Al que salga vencedor le daré a comer del fruto del árbol de la vida que está en medio del paraíso de Dios.
El que tiene oído, oiga lo que el Espíritu dice á las iglesias. Al que venciere, daré á comer del árbol de la vida, el cual está en medio del paraíso de Dios.
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the Paradise of my God.
»Escríbele esto al ángel de la iglesia en Esmirna: El primero y el último, el que estuvo muerto y resucitó, te manda este mensaje:
Y escribe al ángel de la iglesia en SMIRNA: El primero y postrero, que fué muerto, y vivió, dice estas cosas:
And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;
“To the angel of the assembly in Smyrna write: “The first and the last, who was dead, and has come to life says these things:
Estoy al tanto de que has sufrido mucho por el Señor y conozco tu pobreza. ¡Aunque eres rico! Conozco las difamaciones de los que se te oponen, que dicen ser judíos y no lo son, porque son una sinagoga de Satanás.
Yo sé tus obras, y tu tribulación, y tu pobreza (pero tú eres rico), y la blasfemia de los que se dicen ser Judíos, y no lo son, mas son sinagoga de Satanás.
I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.
“I know your works, oppression, and your poverty (but you are rich), and the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews, and they are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.
No temas lo que has de sufrir. Para probarlos, el diablo arrojará a algunos de ustedes en la cárcel y los estará persiguiendo durante diez días. Sé fiel hasta la muerte y yo te daré la corona de la vida.
No tengas ningún temor de las cosas que has de padecer. He aquí, el diablo ha de enviar algunos de vosotros á la cárcel, para que seáis probados, y tendréis tribulación de diez días. Sé fiel hasta la muerte, y yo te daré la corona de la vida.
Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
Don’t be afraid of the things which you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested; and you will have oppression for ten days. Be faithful to death, and I will give you the crown of life.
El que tenga oídos, escuche lo que el Espíritu dice a las iglesias: El que salga vencedor no sufrirá daño alguno de la segunda muerte.
El que tiene oído, oiga lo que el Espíritu dice á las iglesias. El que venciere, no recibirá daño de la muerte segunda.
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. He who overcomes won’t be harmed by the second death.
»Escríbele al ángel de la iglesia en Pérgamo: El que tiene en la boca la espada aguda de dos filos te envía este mensaje:
Y escribe al ángel de la iglesia en PÉRGAMO: El que tiene la espada aguda de dos filos, dice estas cosas:
And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges;
“To the angel of the assembly in Pergamum write: “He who has the sharp two-edged sword says these things:
Sé bien que vives en la ciudad donde Satanás tiene su trono; sin embargo, te has mantenido fiel a mí y no me negaste ni siquiera cuando en esa ciudad de Satanás llevaban al martirio a Antipas, mi fiel testigo.
Yo sé tus obras, y dónde moras, donde está la silla de Satanás; y retienes mi nombre, y no has negado mi fe, aun en los días en que fué Antipas mi testigo fiel, el cual ha sido muerto entre vosotros, donde Satanás mora.
I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan’s seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.
“I know your works and where you dwell, where Satan’s throne is. You hold firmly to my name, and didn’t deny my faith in the days of Antipas my witness, my faithful one, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells.
Pero tengo unas pocas cosas contra ti: Toleras a los que persisten en la doctrina de Balaam, el que le enseñó a Balac cómo hacer caer en pecado al pueblo de Israel, alentándolo a entregarse a fiestas idólatras e incitándolo a la inmoralidad sexual.
Pero tengo unas pocas cosas contra ti: porque tú tienes ahí los que tienen la doctrina de Balaam, el cual enseñaba á Balac á poner escándalo delante de los hijos de Israel, á comer de cosas sacrificadas á los ídolos, y á cometer fornicación.
But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.
But I have a few things against you, because you have there some who hold the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to throw a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality.
También toleras a los que persisten en la doctrina de los nicolaítas.
Así también tú tienes á los que tienen la doctrina de los Nicolaítas, lo cual yo aborrezco.
So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.
So also you likewise have some who hold to the teaching of the Nicolaitans.
Si no te arrepientes, iré pronto a ti y pelearé contra ellos con la espada de mi boca.
Arrepiéntete, porque de otra manera vendré á ti presto, y pelearé contra ellos con la espada de mi boca.
Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.
Repent therefore, or else I am coming to you quickly and I will make war against them with the sword of my mouth.
El que tenga oídos, escuche lo que el Espíritu dice a las iglesias: El que salga vencedor comerá del maná escondido, y le daré una piedra blanca en la que habré grabado un nuevo nombre que sólo conoce el que lo recibe.
El que tiene oído, oiga lo que el Espíritu dice á las iglesias. Al que venciere, daré á comer del maná escondido, y le daré una piedrecita blanca, y en la piedrecita un nombre nuevo escrito, el cual ninguno conoce sino aquel que lo recibe.
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. To him who overcomes, to him I will give of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows but he who receives it.
»Escríbele al ángel de la iglesia en Tiatira: Este es un mensaje del Hijo de Dios, cuyos ojos fulguran como llamas de fuego y cuyos pies son como bronce al rojo vivo.
Y escribe al ángel de la iglesia en TIATIRA: El Hijo de Dios, que tiene sus ojos como llama de fuego, y sus pies semejantes al latón fino, dice estas cosas:
And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass;
“To the angel of the assembly in Thyatira write: “The Son of God, who has his eyes like a flame of fire, and his feet are like burnished brass, says these things:
Estoy al tanto de las obras que realizas, de tus bondades, de tu fe, de tu servicio y de tu perseverancia. Sé que ahora estás haciendo mucho más que cuando comenzaste.
Yo he conocido tus obras, y caridad, y servicio, y fe, y tu paciencia, y que tus obras postreras son más que las primeras.
I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first.
“I know your works, your love, faith, service, patient endurance, and that your last works are more than the first.
Sin embargo, tengo esto contra ti: Tú permites que Jezabel, la que dice ser profetisa, enseñe a mis siervos a practicar inmoralidades sexuales y a comer carne sacrificada a los ídolos.
Mas tengo unas pocas cosas contra ti: porque permites aquella mujer Jezabel (que se dice profetisa) enseñar, y engañar á mis siervos, á fornicar, y á comer cosas ofrecidas á los ídolos.
Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.
But I have this against you, that you tolerate your woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess. She teaches and seduces my servants to commit sexual immorality and to eat things sacrificed to idols.
Le he dado tiempo para que se arrepienta de su inmoralidad, pero se niega a hacerlo.
Y le he dado tiempo para que se arrepienta de la fornicación; y no se ha arrepentido.
And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.
I gave her time to repent, but she refuses to repent of her sexual immorality.
Por eso, la voy a arrojar en un lecho de intensa aflicción; y junto a ella arrojaré a sus amantes y los haré sufrir terriblemente si no se vuelven a mí, arrepentidos de los pecados que han cometido con ella.
He aquí, yo la echo en cama, y á los que adulteran con ella, en muy grande tribulación, si no se arrepintieren de sus obras:
Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.
Behold, I will throw her and those who commit adultery with her into a bed of great oppression, unless they repent of her works.
Y a los hijos de esa mujer los heriré de muerte. Así sabrán todas las iglesias que yo escudriño la mente y el corazón y que a cada uno le doy su merecido.
Y mataré á sus hijos con muerte; y todas las iglesias sabrán que yo soy el que escudriño los riñones y los corazones: y daré á cada uno de vosotros según sus obras.
And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.
I will kill her children with Death, and all the assemblies will know that I am he who searches the minds and hearts. I will give to each one of you according to your deeds.
En cuanto a los demás de Tiatira que no han seguido estas falsas enseñanzas (que algunos llaman profundos secretos de Satanás), no les pediré nada más.
Pero yo digo á vosotros, y á los demás que estáis en Tiatira, cualesquiera que no tienen esta doctrina, y que no han conocido las profundidades de Satanás, como dicen: Yo no enviaré sobre vosotros otra carga.
But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden.
But to you I say, to the rest who are in Thyatira—as many as don’t have this teaching, who don’t know what some call ‘the deep things of Satan’—to you I say, I am not putting any other burden on you.
Eso sí, retengan firmemente lo que tienen hasta que yo vaya.
Empero la que tenéis, tenedla hasta que yo venga.
But that which ye have already hold fast till I come.
Nevertheless, hold that which you have firmly until I come.
Al que salga vencedor y se mantenga hasta el final haciendo lo que me agrada, le daré autoridad sobre las naciones,
Y al que hubiere vencido, y hubiere guardado mis obras hasta el fin, yo le daré potestad sobre las gentes;
And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
He who overcomes, and he who keeps my works to the end, to him I will give authority over the nations.
de la misma manera que el Padre me la dio a mí; y las regirá con vara de hierro y las hará saltar en pedazos como vasos de barro.
Y las regirá con vara de hierro, y serán quebrantados como vaso de alfarero, como también yo he recibido de mi Padre:
And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.
He will rule them with a rod of iron, shattering them like clay pots, as I also have received of my Father;
¡Y también le daré la estrella de la mañana!
Y le daré la estrella de la mañana.
And I will give him the morning star.
and I will give him the morning star.
El que tenga oídos, escuche lo que el Espíritu dice a las iglesias.
El que tiene oído, oiga lo que el Espíritu dice á las iglesias.
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies.
