E, quando o Cordeiro abriu o sétimo selo, houve um silêncio no céu, por cerca de meia hora.

E outro anjo veio segurando um incensário de ouro e ficou em pé junto ao altar. Muito incenso foi-lhe dado para que oferecesse com as orações de todos os santos, sobre o altar dourado diante do trono.

E da mão do anjo subiu, diante de Deus, a fumaça do incenso juntamente com as orações dos santos.

O nome da estrela é Absinto. A terça parte das águas se tornou em absinto, e muitas pessoas morreram por causa das águas que se tornaram amargas.

O quarto anjo tocou a sua trombeta, e a terça parte do sol foi ferida, bem como a terça parte da lua e a terça parte das estrelas. Assim a terça parte deles se tornou escura; a terça parte, tanto do dia como da noite, não brilharam.

And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.

E vi e ouvi uma águia voando no meio do céu, clamando em alta voz: "Ai, ai, ai daqueles que habitam na terra, por causa dos toques restantes de trombeta que ainda estão para ser soados pelos três anjos".

And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!

I saw, and I heard an eagle, flying in mid heaven, saying with a loud voice, “Woe! Woe! Woe to those who dwell on the earth, because of the other blasts of the trumpets of the three angels, who are yet to sound!”
