Gott hat sein Volk nicht verstoßen, welches er zuvor ersehen hat! Oder wisset ihr nicht, was die Schrift bei †der Geschichte von Elia spricht, wie er sich an Gott gegen Israel wendet:

No ha desechado Dios á su pueblo, al cual antes conoció. ¿O no sabéis qué dice de Elías la Escritura? cómo hablando con Dios contra Israel dice:

God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying,
