Por esta razón les ruego, hermanos, por las misericordias de Dios, que den sus cuerpos como ofrenda viva, santa, agradable a Dios, que es la adoración culto racional que debemos de ofrecer.
ASÍ que, hermanos, os ruego por las misericordias de Dios, que presentéis vuestros cuerpos en sacrificio vivo, santo, agradable á Dios, que es vuestro racional culto.
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

Pero les digo a cada uno de ustedes, por la gracia que se me ha dado, que no tengan una opinión demasiado alta de sí mismos, sino que tengan pensamientos sabios, ya que Dios les ha dado a cada uno una medida de fe.
Digo pues por la gracia que me es dada, á cada cual que está entre vosotros, que no tenga más alto concepto de sí que el que debe tener, sino que piense de sí con templanza, conforme á la medida de fe que Dios repartió á cada uno.
For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.

Ámense sinceramente unos a otros. Aborrece lo que es malo; sigan lo bueno.
El amor sea sin fingimiento: aborreciendo lo malo, llegándoos á lo bueno;
Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil. Cling to that which is good.
Sean amables los unos con los otros con el amor fraternal, en cuanto a honra, dándose preferencia y respetándose mutuamente.
Amándoos los unos á los otros con caridad fraternal; previniéndoos con honra los unos á los otros;
Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;

Da bendiciones y no maldiciones a aquellos que los persiguen.

Gócense con los que se gozan y lloren con los que lloran.

Estar en armonía el uno con el otro. No altivos, pónganse al nivel de los humildes. No se crean sabios.
Unánimes entre vosotros: no altivos, mas acomodándoos á los humildes. No seáis sabios en vuestra opinión.
