1Je vous exhorte donc, frères, par les compassions de Dieu, à offrir vos corps comme un sacrifice vivant, saint, agréable à Dieu, ce qui sera de votre part un culte raisonnable.
2Ne vous conformez pas au siècle présent, mais soyez transformés par le renouvellement de l’intelligence, afin que vous discerniez quelle est la volonté de Dieu, ce qui est bon, agréable et parfait.
3Par la grâce qui m’a été donnée, je dis à chacun de vous de n’avoir pas de lui-même une trop haute opinion, mais de revêtir des sentiments modestes, selon la mesure de foi que Dieu a départie à chacun.
4Car, comme nous avons plusieurs membres dans un seul corps, et que tous les membres n’ont pas la même fonction,
5ainsi, nous qui sommes plusieurs, nous formons un seul corps en Christ, et nous sommes tous membres les uns des autres.
6Puisque nous avons des dons différents, selon la grâce qui nous a été accordée, que celui qui a le don de prophétie l’exerce selon l’analogie de la foi;
7que celui qui est appelé au ministère s’attache à son ministère; que celui qui enseigne s’attache à son enseignement,
8et celui qui exhorte à l’exhortation. Que celui qui donne le fasse avec libéralité; que celui qui préside le fasse avec zèle; que celui qui pratique la miséricorde le fasse avec joie.
9Que la charité soit sans hypocrisie. Ayez le mal en horreur; attachez-vous fortement au bien.
10Par amour fraternel, soyez pleins d’affection les uns pour les autres; par honneur, usez de prévenances réciproques.
11Ayez du zèle, et non de la paresse. Soyez fervents d’esprit. Servez le Seigneur.
12Réjouissez-vous en espérance. Soyez patients dans l’affliction. Persévérez dans la prière.
13Pourvoyez aux besoins des saints. Exercez l’hospitalité.
14Bénissez ceux qui vous persécutent, bénissez et ne maudissez pas.
15Réjouissez-vous avec ceux qui se réjouissent; pleurez avec ceux qui pleurent.
16Ayez les mêmes sentiments les uns envers les autres. N’aspirez pas à ce qui est élevé, mais laissez-vous attirer par ce qui est humble. Ne soyez point sages à vos propres yeux.
17Ne rendez à personne le mal pour le mal. Recherchez ce qui est bien devant tous les hommes.
18S’il est possible, autant que cela dépende de vous, soyez en paix avec tous les hommes.
19Ne vous vengez point vous-mêmes, bien-aimés, mais laissez agir la colère; car il est écrit: A moi la vengeance, à moi la rétribution, dit le Seigneur.
20Mais si ton ennemi a faim, donne-lui à manger; s’il a soif, donne-lui à boire; car en agissant ainsi, ce sont des charbons ardents que tu amasseras sur sa tête.
21Ne te laisse pas vaincre par le mal, mais surmonte le mal par le bien.

1ASÍ que, hermanos, os ruego por las misericordias de Dios, que presentéis vuestros cuerpos en sacrificio vivo, santo, agradable á Dios, que es vuestro racional culto.
2Y no os conforméis á este siglo; mas reformaos por la renovación de vuestro entendimiento, para que experimentéis cuál sea la buena voluntad de Dios, agradable y perfecta.
3Digo pues por la gracia que me es dada, á cada cual que está entre vosotros, que no tenga más alto concepto de sí que el que debe tener, sino que piense de sí con templanza, conforme á la medida de fe que Dios repartió á cada uno.
4Porque de la manera que en un cuerpo tenemos muchos miembros, empero todos los miembros no tienen la misma operación;
5Así muchos somos un cuerpo en Cristo, mas todos miembros los unos de los otros.
6De manera que, teniendo diferentes dones según la gracia que nos es dada, si el de profecía, úsese conforme á la medida de la fe;
7O si ministerio, en servir; ó el que enseña, en doctrina;
8El que exhorta, en exhortar; el que reparte, hágalo en simplicidad; el que preside, con solicitud; el que hace misericordia, con alegría.
9El amor sea sin fingimiento: aborreciendo lo malo, llegándoos á lo bueno;
10Amándoos los unos á los otros con caridad fraternal; previniéndoos con honra los unos á los otros;
11En el cuidado no perezosos; ardientes en espíritu; sirviendo al Señor;
12Gozosos en la esperanza; sufridos en la tribulación; constantes en la oración;
13Comunicando á las necesidades de los santos; siguiendo la hospitalidad.
14Bendecid á los que os persiguen: bendecid, y no maldigáis.
15Gozaos con los que se gozan: llorad con los que lloran.
16Unánimes entre vosotros: no altivos, mas acomodándoos á los humildes. No seáis sabios en vuestra opinión.
17No paguéis á nadie mal por mal; procurad lo bueno delante de todos los hombres.
18Si se puede hacer, cuanto está en vosotros, tened paz con todos los hombres.
19No os venguéis vosotros mismos, amados míos; antes dad lugar á la ira; porque escrito está: Mía es la venganza: yo pagaré, dice el Señor.
20Así que, si tu enemigo tuviere hambre, dale de comer; si tuviere sed, dale de beber: que haciendo esto, ascuas de fuego amontonas sobre su cabeza.
21No seas vencido de lo malo; mas vence con el bien el mal.

1I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
3For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
4For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:
5So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.
6Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;
7Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching;
8Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.
9Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
10Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;
11Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;
12Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;
13Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.
14Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.
15Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.
16Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.
17Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.
18If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
19Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
20Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
21Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

1Therefore I urge you, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service.
2Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God.
3For I say through the grace that was given me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of yourself more highly than you ought to think; but to think reasonably, as God has apportioned to each person a measure of faith.
4For even as we have many members in one body, and all the members don’t have the same function,
5so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another,
6having gifts differing according to the grace that was given to us: if prophecy, let’s prophesy according to the proportion of our faith;
7or service, let’s give ourselves to service; or he who teaches, to his teaching;
8or he who exhorts, to his exhorting; he who gives, let him do it with generosity; he who rules, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.
9Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil. Cling to that which is good.
10In love of the brothers be tenderly affectionate to one another; in honor prefer one another,
11not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord,
