1Ich ermahne euch nun, liebe Brüder, durch die Barmherzigkeit Gottes, daß ihr eure Leiber begebet zum Opfer, das da lebendig, heilig und Gott wohlgefällig sei, welches sei euer vernünftiger Gottesdienst.
2Und stellet euch nicht dieser Welt gleich, sondern verändert euch durch die Erneuerung eures Sinnes, auf daß ihr prüfen möget, welches da sei der gute, wohlgefällige und vollkommene Gotteswille.
3Denn ich sage euch durch die Gnade, die mir gegeben ist, jedermann unter euch, daß niemand weiter von sich halte, als sich's gebührt zu halten, sondern daß er von sich mäßig halte, ein jeglicher, nach dem Gott ausgeteilt hat das Maß des Glaubens.
4Denn gleicherweise als wir in einem Leibe viele Glieder haben, aber alle Glieder nicht einerlei Geschäft haben,
5also sind wir viele ein Leib in Christus, aber untereinander ist einer des andern Glied,
6und haben mancherlei Gaben nach der Gnade, die uns gegeben ist.
7Hat jemand Weissagung, so sei sie dem Glauben gemäß. Hat jemand ein Amt, so warte er des Amts. Lehrt jemand, so warte er der Lehre.
8Ermahnt jemand, so warte er des Ermahnens. Gibt jemand, so gebe er einfältig. Regiert jemand, so sei er sorgfältig. Übt jemand Barmherzigkeit, so tue er's mit Lust.
9Die Liebe sei nicht falsch. Hasset das Arge, hanget dem Guten an.
10Die brüderliche Liebe untereinander sei herzlich. Einer komme dem andern mit Ehrerbietung zuvor.
11Seid nicht träge in dem, was ihr tun sollt. Seid brünstig im Geiste. Schicket euch in die Zeit.
12Seid fröhlich in Hoffnung, geduldig in Trübsal, haltet an am Gebet.
13Nehmet euch der Notdurft der Heiligen an. Herberget gern.
14Segnet, die euch verfolgen; segnet und fluchet nicht.
15Freut euch mit den Fröhlichen und weint mit den Weinenden.
16Habt einerlei Sinn untereinander. Trachtet nicht nach hohen Dingen, sondern haltet euch herunter zu den Niedrigen.
17Haltet euch nicht selbst für klug. Vergeltet niemand Böses mit Bösem. Fleißigt euch der Ehrbarkeit gegen jedermann.
18Ist es möglich, soviel an euch ist, so habt mit allen Menschen Frieden.
19Rächet euch selber nicht, meine Liebsten, sondern gebet Raum dem Zorn Gottes; denn es steht geschrieben: “Die Rache ist mein; ich will vergelten, spricht der HERR.”
20So nun deinen Feind hungert, so speise ihn; dürstet ihn, so tränke ihn. Wenn du das tust, so wirst du feurige Kohlen auf sein Haupt sammeln.
21Laß dich nicht das Böse überwinden, sondern überwinde das Böse mit Gutem.

1ASÍ que, hermanos, os ruego por las misericordias de Dios, que presentéis vuestros cuerpos en sacrificio vivo, santo, agradable á Dios, que es vuestro racional culto.
2Y no os conforméis á este siglo; mas reformaos por la renovación de vuestro entendimiento, para que experimentéis cuál sea la buena voluntad de Dios, agradable y perfecta.
3Digo pues por la gracia que me es dada, á cada cual que está entre vosotros, que no tenga más alto concepto de sí que el que debe tener, sino que piense de sí con templanza, conforme á la medida de fe que Dios repartió á cada uno.
4Porque de la manera que en un cuerpo tenemos muchos miembros, empero todos los miembros no tienen la misma operación;
5Así muchos somos un cuerpo en Cristo, mas todos miembros los unos de los otros.
6De manera que, teniendo diferentes dones según la gracia que nos es dada, si el de profecía, úsese conforme á la medida de la fe;
7O si ministerio, en servir; ó el que enseña, en doctrina;
8El que exhorta, en exhortar; el que reparte, hágalo en simplicidad; el que preside, con solicitud; el que hace misericordia, con alegría.
9El amor sea sin fingimiento: aborreciendo lo malo, llegándoos á lo bueno;
10Amándoos los unos á los otros con caridad fraternal; previniéndoos con honra los unos á los otros;
11En el cuidado no perezosos; ardientes en espíritu; sirviendo al Señor;
12Gozosos en la esperanza; sufridos en la tribulación; constantes en la oración;
13Comunicando á las necesidades de los santos; siguiendo la hospitalidad.
14Bendecid á los que os persiguen: bendecid, y no maldigáis.
15Gozaos con los que se gozan: llorad con los que lloran.
16Unánimes entre vosotros: no altivos, mas acomodándoos á los humildes. No seáis sabios en vuestra opinión.
17No paguéis á nadie mal por mal; procurad lo bueno delante de todos los hombres.
18Si se puede hacer, cuanto está en vosotros, tened paz con todos los hombres.
19No os venguéis vosotros mismos, amados míos; antes dad lugar á la ira; porque escrito está: Mía es la venganza: yo pagaré, dice el Señor.
20Así que, si tu enemigo tuviere hambre, dale de comer; si tuviere sed, dale de beber: que haciendo esto, ascuas de fuego amontonas sobre su cabeza.
21No seas vencido de lo malo; mas vence con el bien el mal.

1I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
3For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
4For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:
5So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.
6Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;
7Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching;
8Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.
9Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
10Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;
11Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;
12Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;
13Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.
14Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.
15Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.
16Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.
17Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.
18If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
19Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
20Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
21Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

1Therefore I urge you, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service.
2Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God.
3For I say through the grace that was given me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of yourself more highly than you ought to think; but to think reasonably, as God has apportioned to each person a measure of faith.
4For even as we have many members in one body, and all the members don’t have the same function,
5so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another,
6having gifts differing according to the grace that was given to us: if prophecy, let’s prophesy according to the proportion of our faith;
7or service, let’s give ourselves to service; or he who teaches, to his teaching;
8or he who exhorts, to his exhorting; he who gives, let him do it with generosity; he who rules, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.
9Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil. Cling to that which is good.
10In love of the brothers be tenderly affectionate to one another; in honor prefer one another,
11not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord,
12rejoicing in hope, enduring in troubles, continuing steadfastly in prayer,
13contributing to the needs of the saints, and given to hospitality.
14Bless those who persecute you; bless, and don’t curse.
15Rejoice with those who rejoice. Weep with those who weep.
16Be of the same mind one toward another. Don’t set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Don’t be wise in your own conceits.
17Repay no one evil for evil. Respect what is honorable in the sight of all men.
18If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men.
19Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, “Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.”
20Therefore “If your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing so, you will heap coals of fire on his head.”
