Romanos 13

Jedermann sei den obrigkeitlichen Gewalten untertan; denn es gibt keine Obrigkeit, ohne von Gott (bestellt zu sein), und wo immer eine besteht, ist sie von Gott verordnet.

TODA alma se someta á las potestades superiores; porque no hay potestad sino de Dios; y las que son, de Dios son ordenadas.

Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.

Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God.

Wer sich also der Obrigkeit widersetzt, der lehnt sich damit gegen Gottes Ordnung auf; und die sich auflehnen, werden sich selbst ein Strafurteil zuziehen.

Así que, el que se opone á la potestad, á la ordenación de Dios resiste: y los que resisten, ellos mismos ganan condenación para sí.

Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.

Therefore he who resists the authority withstands the ordinance of God; and those who withstand will receive to themselves judgment.

Denn die obrigkeitlichen Personen sind nicht für die guten Taten ein Schrecken, sondern für die bösen. Willst du also frei von Furcht vor der Obrigkeit sein, so tu das Gute: dann wirst du Anerkennung von ihr erhalten;

Porque los magistrados no son para temor al que bien hace, sino al malo. ¿Quieres pues no temer la potestad? haz lo bueno, y tendrás alabanza de ella;

For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:

For rulers are not a terror to the good work, but to the evil. Do you desire to have no fear of the authority? Do that which is good, and you will have praise from the authority,

denn sie ist Gottes Dienerin dir zum Guten. Tust du aber das Böse, so fürchte dich; denn sie trägt das Schwert nicht umsonst: sie ist ja Gottes Dienerin, eine Vergelterin zur Vollziehung des (göttlichen) Zornes an dem Übeltäter.

Porque es ministro de Dios para tu bien. Mas si hicieres lo malo, teme: porque no en vano lleva el cuchillo; porque es ministro de Dios, vengador para castigo al que hace lo malo.

For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.

for he is a servant of God to you for good. But if you do that which is evil, be afraid, for he doesn’t bear the sword in vain; for he is a servant of God, an avenger for wrath to him who does evil.

Darum muß man ihr untertan sein, und zwar nicht nur aus Furcht vor dem (göttlichen) Zorn, sondern auch um des Gewissens willen.

Por lo cual es necesario que le estéis sujetos, no solamente por la ira, mas aun por la conciencia.

Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.

Therefore you need to be in subjection, not only because of the wrath, but also for conscience’ sake.

Deshalb entrichtet ihr ja auch Steuern; denn sie sind Gottes Dienstleute, die für eben diesen Zweck unablässig tätig sind.

Porque por esto pagáis también los tributos; porque son ministros de Dios que sirven á esto mismo.

For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God’s ministers, attending continually upon this very thing.

For this reason you also pay taxes, for they are servants of God’s service, continually doing this very thing.

Lasset allen zukommen, was ihr ihnen schuldig seid: die Steuer, wem die Steuer gebührt, den Zoll, wem der Zoll zukommt, die Furcht, wem die Furcht, und die Ehre, wem die Ehre gebührt.

Pagad á todos lo que debéis: al que tributo, tributo; al que pecho, pecho; al que temor, temor; al que honra, honra.

Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.

Therefore give everyone what you owe: if you owe taxes, pay taxes; if customs, then customs; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.

Bleibt niemand etwas schuldig, außer daß ihr einander liebt; denn wer den anderen liebt, hat damit das Gesetz erfüllt.

No debáis á nadie nada, sino amaros unos á otros; porque el que ama al prójimo, cumplió la ley.

Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.

Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.

Denn das Gebot: »Du sollst nicht ehebrechen, nicht töten, nicht stehlen, laß dich nicht gelüsten!« und jedes andere derartige Gebot ist in diesem Wort einheitlich zusammengefaßt: »Du sollst deinen Nächsten lieben wie dich selbst!«

Porque: No adulterarás; no matarás; no hurtarás; no dirás falso testimonio; no codiciarás; y si hay algún otro mandamiento, en esta sentencia se comprende sumariamente: Amarás á tu prójimo como á ti mismo.

For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other commandments there are, are all summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

Die Liebe tut dem Nächsten nichts Böses; demnach ist die Liebe die Erfüllung des Gesetzes.

La caridad no hace mal al prójimo: así que, el cumplimento de la ley es la caridad.

Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

Love doesn’t harm a neighbor. Love therefore is the fulfillment of the law.

Und zwar (verhaltet euch auf diese Weise) in richtiger Erkenntnis der (gegenwärtigen) Zeit, daß nämlich die Stunde nunmehr für uns da ist, aus dem Schlaf zu erwachen; denn jetzt ist die Rettung uns näher als damals, als wir zum Glauben gekommen sind:

Y esto, conociendo el tiempo, que es ya hora de levantarnos del sueño; porque ahora nos está más cerca nuestra salud que cuando creímos.

And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.

Do this, knowing the time, that it is already time for you to awaken out of sleep, for salvation is now nearer to us than when we first believed.

die Nacht ist vorgerückt und der Tag nahegekommen. So lasset uns denn die Werke der Finsternis abtun, dagegen die Waffen des Lichts anlegen!

La noche ha pasado, y ha llegado el día: echemos, pues, las obras de las tinieblas, y vistámonos las armas de luz.

The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.

The night is far gone, and the day is near. Let’s therefore throw off the deeds of darkness, and let’s put on the armor of light.

Lasset uns sittsam wandeln, wie es sich am Tage geziemt: nicht in Schwelgereien und Trinkgelagen, nicht in Unzucht und Ausschweifungen, nicht in Streit und Eifersucht;

Andemos como de día, honestamente: no en glotonerías y borracheras, no en lechos y disoluciones, no en pedencias y envidia:

Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.

Let’s walk properly, as in the day; not in reveling and drunkenness, not in sexual promiscuity and lustful acts, and not in strife and jealousy.

nein, ziehet den Herrn Jesus Christus an, und seid dem Fleisch nicht so zu Diensten, daß böse Begierden dadurch erregt werden!

Mas vestíos del Señor Jesucristo, y no hagáis caso de la carne en sus deseos.

But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, for its lusts.
