Romanos 13

Jedermann sei untertan den Obrigkeiten, die Gewalt über ihn haben; denn es ist keine Obrigkeit außer von Gott. Und die bestehenden Obrigkeiten sind von Gott verordnet.

TODA alma se someta á las potestades superiores; porque no hay potestad sino de Dios; y las que son, de Dios son ordenadas.

Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.

Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God.

Wer sich daher der Obrigkeit widersetzt, widerstrebt der Ordnung Gottes; die aber widerstreben, ziehen sich selbst ihr Urteil zu.

Así que, el que se opone á la potestad, á la ordenación de Dios resiste: y los que resisten, ellos mismos ganan condenación para sí.

Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.

Therefore he who resists the authority withstands the ordinance of God; and those who withstand will receive to themselves judgment.

Denn die Gewalt haben, sind nicht den guten Werken, sondern den bösen ein Schrekken. Willst du die Gewalt nicht fürchten, so tue Gutes, und du wirst noch Lob von ihr haben.

Porque los magistrados no son para temor al que bien hace, sino al malo. ¿Quieres pues no temer la potestad? haz lo bueno, y tendrás alabanza de ella;

For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:

For rulers are not a terror to the good work, but to the evil. Do you desire to have no fear of the authority? Do that which is good, and you will have praise from the authority,

Denn sie ist Gottes Dienerin dir zu Gute; tust du aber Böses, so fürchte dich; denn nicht umsonst führt sie das Schwert; denn sie ist Gottes Dienerin, eine Rächerin zur Strafe für den, der das Böse tut.

Porque es ministro de Dios para tu bien. Mas si hicieres lo malo, teme: porque no en vano lleva el cuchillo; porque es ministro de Dios, vengador para castigo al que hace lo malo.

For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.

for he is a servant of God to you for good. But if you do that which is evil, be afraid, for he doesn’t bear the sword in vain; for he is a servant of God, an avenger for wrath to him who does evil.

Darum tut es Not, daß man untertan ist, nicht allein um der Strafe willen, sondern auch aus Gewissen.

Por lo cual es necesario que le estéis sujetos, no solamente por la ira, mas aun por la conciencia.

Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.

Therefore you need to be in subjection, not only because of the wrath, but also for conscience’ sake.

Deshalb zahlt ihr ja auch Steuern; denn sie sind Gottes Dienstleute, die ihres Amtes warten.

Porque por esto pagáis también los tributos; porque son ministros de Dios que sirven á esto mismo.

For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God’s ministers, attending continually upon this very thing.

For this reason you also pay taxes, for they are servants of God’s service, continually doing this very thing.

So gebt nun allen, was ihr zu geben schuldig seid: Steuer dem, der die Steuer, Zoll dem, der den Zoll, Ehrerbietung dem, der Ehrerbietung, Achtung dem, der Achtung zu fordern hat.

Pagad á todos lo que debéis: al que tributo, tributo; al que pecho, pecho; al que temor, temor; al que honra, honra.

Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.

Therefore give everyone what you owe: if you owe taxes, pay taxes; if customs, then customs; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.

Bleibt niemand etwas schuldig, außer daß ihr einander liebet, denn wer den anderen liebt, hat das Gesetz erfüllt.

No debáis á nadie nada, sino amaros unos á otros; porque el que ama al prójimo, cumplió la ley.

Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.

Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.

Denn die Gebote: Du sollst nicht ehebrechen, nicht töten, nicht stehlen, kein falsch Zeugnis reden, dich nicht gelüsten lassen, und so noch ein anderes Gebot ist, sind in dem einen zusammengefaßt: Du sollst deinen Nächsten lieben wie dich selbst.

Porque: No adulterarás; no matarás; no hurtarás; no dirás falso testimonio; no codiciarás; y si hay algún otro mandamiento, en esta sentencia se comprende sumariamente: Amarás á tu prójimo como á ti mismo.

For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other commandments there are, are all summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

Die Liebe tut dem Nächsten nichts Böses; so ist nun die Liebe des Gesetzes Erfüllung.

La caridad no hace mal al prójimo: así que, el cumplimento de la ley es la caridad.

Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

Love doesn’t harm a neighbor. Love therefore is the fulfillment of the law.

Und dies darum, da wir die Zeit wissen, daß bereits die Stunde da ist, daß wir aus dem Schlaf erwachen; denn jetzt ist uns das Heil näher, als da wir gläubig wurden.

Y esto, conociendo el tiempo, que es ya hora de levantarnos del sueño; porque ahora nos está más cerca nuestra salud que cuando creímos.

And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.

Do this, knowing the time, that it is already time for you to awaken out of sleep, for salvation is now nearer to us than when we first believed.

Die Nacht ist vorbei, der Tag ist herbeigekommen; so laßt uns nun die Werke der Finsternis von uns tun und die Rüstung des Lichts anlegen.

La noche ha pasado, y ha llegado el día: echemos, pues, las obras de las tinieblas, y vistámonos las armas de luz.

The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.

The night is far gone, and the day is near. Let’s therefore throw off the deeds of darkness, and let’s put on the armor of light.

Lasset uns ehrbar wandeln, als am Tage, nicht in Schmausereien und Trinkgelagen, nicht in Unzucht und Schwelgerei, nicht in Hader und Eifersucht.

Andemos como de día, honestamente: no en glotonerías y borracheras, no en lechos y disoluciones, no en pedencias y envidia:

Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.

Let’s walk properly, as in the day; not in reveling and drunkenness, not in sexual promiscuity and lustful acts, and not in strife and jealousy.

Laßt uns vielmehr den Herrn Jesus Christus anziehen, und nicht den Wollüsten des Fleisches dienen.

Mas vestíos del Señor Jesucristo, y no hagáis caso de la carne en sus deseos.

But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, for its lusts.
