1Ahora bien, acepten al que es débil en la fe, pero no por disputas de opiniones.
2Un hombre tiene fe para comer de todo, pero el que es débil sólo come verduras.
3Que el que come no desprecie al que no come. Que el que no come no juzgue al que come, porque Dios lo ha aceptado.
4¿Quiénes son ustedes para juzgar al siervo de otro? A su propio señor le hace frente o le hace caer. Sí, se pondrá en pie, pues Dios tiene poder para hacerlo.
5Un hombre considera que un día es más importante. Otro considera que todos los días son iguales. Que cada uno esté bien seguro en su propia mente.
6El que observa el día, lo observa para el Señor; y el que no lo observa, para el Señor no lo observa. El que come, come para el Señor, porque da gracias a Dios. El que no come, para el Señor no come, y da gracias a Dios.
7Porque ninguno de nosotros vive para sí mismo, y ninguno muere para sí mismo.
8Pues si vivimos, vivimos para el Señor. O si morimos, morimos para el Señor. Por lo tanto, si vivimos o morimos, somos del Señor.
9Porque para ello Cristo murió, resucitó y volvió a vivir, para ser Señor tanto de los muertos como de los vivos.
10Pero tú, ¿por qué juzgas a tu hermano? O tú, ¿por qué desprecias a tu hermano? Porque todos compareceremos ante el tribunal de Cristo.
11Porque está escrito, “‘Vivo yo’, dice el Señor, ‘ante mí se doblará toda rodilla’. Toda lengua confesará a Dios”.
12Así pues, cada uno de nosotros dará cuenta de sí mismo a Dios.
13Por lo tanto, no nos juzguemos más los unos a los otros, sino juzguen más bien esto: que ninguno ponga tropiezo a su hermano, ni sea ocasión de caer.
14Yo sé y estoy persuadido en el Señor Jesús de que nada es inmundo por sí mismo, sino que para el que considera que algo es inmundo, para él es inmundo.
15Pero si por causa de la comida tu hermano se entristece, ya no andas con amor. No destruyas con tu comida a aquel por quien murió Cristo.
16Entonces no permitan que se calumnie su bien,
17porque el Reino de Dios no es comer ni beber, sino justicia, paz y alegría en el Espíritu Santo.
18Porque el que sirve a Cristo en estas cosas es agradable a Dios y aprobado por los hombres.
19Sigamos, pues, las cosas que contribuyen a la paz y a la edificación mutua.
20No echen por tierra la obra de Dios por causa de la comida. Todas las cosas, en efecto, son limpias; sin embargo, es malo el hombre que crea un tropiezo al comer.
21Es bueno no comer carne, ni beber vino, ni hacer nada por lo que tu hermano tropiece, se ofenda o se debilite.
22¿Tienes fe? Tenla para ti mismo ante Dios. Dichoso el que no se juzga a sí mismo en lo que aprueba.
23Pero el que duda se condena si come, porque no es de fe; y todo lo que no es de fe es pecado.
24Ahora bien, a aquel que es capaz de afianzarlos según mis buenas noticias y la predicación de Jesucristo, según la revelación del misterio que se ha mantenido en secreto durante largos siglos,
25pero que ahora se revela, y por las Escrituras de los profetas, según el mandamiento del Dios eterno, se da a conocer para la obediencia de la fe a todas las naciones;
26al único Dios sabio, por medio de Jesucristo, a quien sea la gloria por los siglos. Amén.

1RECIBID al flaco en la fe, pero no para contiendas de disputas.
2Porque uno cree que se ha de comer de todas cosas: otro que es débil, come legumbres.
3El que come, no menosprecie al que no come: y el que no come, no juzgue al que come; porque Dios le ha levantado.
4¿Tú quién eres que juzgas al siervo ajeno? para su señor está en pie, ó cae: mas se afirmará; que poderoso es el Señor para afirmarle.
5Uno hace diferencia entre día y día; otro juzga iguales todos los días. Cada uno esté asegurado en su ánimo.
6El que hace caso del día, hácelo para el Señor: y el que no hace caso del día, no lo hace para el Señor. El que come, come para el Señor, porque da gracias á Dios; y el que no come, no come para el Señor, y da gracias á Dios.
7Porque ninguno de nosotros vive para sí, y ninguno muere para sí.
8Que si vivimos, para el Señor vivimos; y si morimos, para el Señor morimos. Así que, ó que vivamos, ó que muramos, del Señor somos.
9Porque Cristo para esto murió, y resucitó, y volvió á vivir, para ser Señor así de los muertos como de los que viven.
10Mas tú ¿por qué juzgas á tu hermano? ó tú también, ¿por qué menosprecias á tu hermano? porque todos hemos de estar ante el tribunal de Cristo.
11Porque escrito está: Vivo yo, dice el Señor, que á mí se doblará toda rodilla, y toda lengua confesará á Dios.
12De manera que, cada uno de nosotros dará á Dios razón de sí.
13Así que, no juzguemos más los unos de los otros: antes bien juzgad de no poner tropiezo ó escándalo al hermano.
14Yo sé, y confío en el Señor Jesús, que de suyo nada hay inmundo: mas á aquel que piensa alguna cosa ser inmunda, para él es inmunda.
15Empero si por causa de la comida tu hermano es contristado, ya no andas conforme á la caridad. No arruines con tu comida á aquél por el cual Cristo murió.
16No sea pues blasfemado vuestro bien:
17Que el reino de Dios no es comida ni bebida, sino justicia y paz y gozo por el Espíritu Santo.
18Porque el que en esto sirve á Cristo, agrada á Dios, y es acepto á los hombres.
19Así que, sigamos lo que hace á la paz, y á la edificación de los unos á los otros.
20No destruyas la obra de Dios por causa de la comida. Todas las cosas á la verdad son limpias: mas malo es al hombre que come con escándalo.
21Bueno es no comer carne, ni beber vino, ni nada en que tu hermano tropiece, ó se ofenda, ó sea debilitado.
22¿Tienes tú fe? Tenla para contigo delante de Dios. Bienaventurado el que no se condena á sí mismo con lo que aprueba.
23Mas el que hace diferencia, si comiere, es condenado, porque no comió por fe: y todo lo que no es de fe, es pecado.

1Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations.
2For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs.
3Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.
4Who art thou that judgest another man’s servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.
5One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.
6He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.
7For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.
8For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord’s.
9For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.
10But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
11For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
12So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.
13Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother’s way.
14I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean.
15But if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died.
16Let not then your good be evil spoken of:
17For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
18For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.
19Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.
20For meat destroy not the work of God. All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eateth with offence.
21It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak.
22Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth.
23And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

1Now accept one who is weak in faith, but not for disputes over opinions.
2One man has faith to eat all things, but he who is weak eats only vegetables.
3Don’t let him who eats despise him who doesn’t eat. Don’t let him who doesn’t eat judge him who eats, for God has accepted him.
4Who are you who judge another’s servant? To his own lord he stands or falls. Yes, he will be made to stand, for God has power to make him stand.
5One man esteems one day as more important. Another esteems every day alike. Let each man be fully assured in his own mind.
6He who observes the day, observes it to the Lord; and he who does not observe the day, to the Lord he does not observe it. He who eats, eats to the Lord, for he gives God thanks. He who doesn’t eat, to the Lord he doesn’t eat, and gives God thanks.

16Then don’t let your good be slandered,
17for God’s Kingdom is not eating and drinking, but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.
18For he who serves Christ in these things is acceptable to God and approved by men.
19So then, let’s follow after things which make for peace, and things by which we may build one another up.
20Don’t overthrow God’s work for food’s sake. All things indeed are clean, however it is evil for that man who creates a stumbling block by eating.
21It is good to not eat meat, drink wine, nor do anything by which your brother stumbles, is offended, or is made weak.
22Do you have faith? Have it to yourself before God. Happy is he who doesn’t judge himself in that which he approves.
23But he who doubts is condemned if he eats, because it isn’t of faith; and whatever is not of faith is sin.
24Now to him who is able to establish you according to my Good News and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery which has been kept secret through long ages,
25but now is revealed, and by the Scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the eternal God, is made known for obedience of faith to all the nations;
26to the only wise God, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever! Amen.
