RECIBID al flaco en la fe, pero no para contiendas de disputas.
Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations.
Now accept one who is weak in faith, but not for disputes over opinions.
Es posible que una persona crea que puede comer de todo, mientras otra, con una fe más débil, solo come vegetales.
Porque uno cree que se ha de comer de todas cosas: otro que es débil, come legumbres.
For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs.
One man has faith to eat all things, but he who is weak eats only vegetables.
Los que comen de todo no deben menospreciar a los que no, y los que no comen de todo no deben criticar a los que sí lo hacen, porque Dios ha aceptado a ambos.
El que come, no menosprecie al que no come: y el que no come, no juzgue al que come; porque Dios le ha levantado.
Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.
Don’t let him who eats despise him who doesn’t eat. Don’t let him who doesn’t eat judge him who eats, for God has accepted him.
¿Qué derecho tienes tú para juzgar al siervo de otro? Es su propio amo quien decide si está haciendo bien o mal. Con ayuda de Dios, ellos podrán discernir lo correcto.
¿Tú quién eres que juzgas al siervo ajeno? para su señor está en pie, ó cae: mas se afirmará; que poderoso es el Señor para afirmarle.
Who art thou that judgest another man’s servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.
Who are you who judge another’s servant? To his own lord he stands or falls. Yes, he will be made to stand, for God has power to make him stand.
Hay quienes consideran que algunos días son más importantes que otros, mientras que otros piensan que todos los días son iguales. Todos deben estar plenamente convencidos en su propia mente.
Uno hace diferencia entre día y día; otro juzga iguales todos los días. Cada uno esté asegurado en su ánimo.
One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.
One man esteems one day as more important. Another esteems every day alike. Let each man be fully assured in his own mind.
Los que respetan un día especial, lo hacen para el Señor; y los que comen sin preocupaciones, lo hacen también, puesto que dan las gracias a Dios; mientras tanto, los que evitan comer ciertas cosas, también lo hacen para el Señor, y del mismo modo, dan gracias a Dios.
El que hace caso del día, hácelo para el Señor: y el que no hace caso del día, no lo hace para el Señor. El que come, come para el Señor, porque da gracias á Dios; y el que no come, no come para el Señor, y da gracias á Dios.
He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.
He who observes the day, observes it to the Lord; and he who does not observe the day, to the Lord he does not observe it. He who eats, eats to the Lord, for he gives God thanks. He who doesn’t eat, to the Lord he doesn’t eat, and gives God thanks.

Si vivimos, vivimos para el Señor, o si morimos, morimos para el Señor. De modo que ya sea que vivamos o muramos, pertenecemos al Señor.

Esta fue la razón por la que Cristo murió y volvió a la vida, para así ser Señor tanto de los muertos como de los vivos.

¿Por qué, entonces, criticas a tu hermano creyente? Pues todos estaremos en pie delante del trono en el juicio de Dios.
Mas tú ¿por qué juzgas á tu hermano? ó tú también, ¿por qué menosprecias á tu hermano? porque todos hemos de estar ante el tribunal de Cristo.
But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.

Pues las Escrituras dicen: “‘Tan cierto como yo estoy vivo,’ dice el Señor, ‘toda rodilla se doblará delante de mí, y toda lengua declarará que yo soy Dios’”.
Porque escrito está: Vivo yo, dice el Señor, que á mí se doblará toda rodilla, y toda lengua confesará á Dios.
For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

Así que cada uno de nosotros tendrá que rendir cuenta de sí mismo a Dios.

Por lo tanto, no nos juzguemos más unos a otros. Por el contrario, decidamos no poner obstáculos en el camino de nuestros hermanos creyentes, ni hacerlos caer.
Así que, no juzguemos más los unos de los otros: antes bien juzgad de no poner tropiezo ó escándalo al hermano.

Yo estoy seguro—persuadido por el Señor Jesús—que nada es, en sí mismo, ceremonialmente impuro. Pero si alguno considera que es impuro, para él es impuro.

Si tu hermano creyente se siente ofendido por ti, en términos de comidas, entonces ya tu conducta no es de amor. No destruyas a alguien por quien Cristo murió por la comida que eliges comer.
Empero si por causa de la comida tu hermano es contristado, ya no andas conforme á la caridad. No arruines con tu comida á aquél por el cual Cristo murió.
But if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died.
Yet if because of food your brother is grieved, you walk no longer in love. Don’t destroy with your food him for whom Christ died.
No permitas que las cosas buenas que haces sean malinterpretadas—
No sea pues blasfemado vuestro bien:
Let not then your good be evil spoken of:
Then don’t let your good be slandered,
porque el reino de Dios no tiene que ver con la comida o la bebida, sino con vivir bien, tener paz y gozo en el Espíritu Santo.
Que el reino de Dios no es comida ni bebida, sino justicia y paz y gozo por el Espíritu Santo.
For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
for God’s Kingdom is not eating and drinking, but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.
Todo el que sirve a Cristo de este modo, agrada a Dios, y es apreciado por los demás.
Porque el que en esto sirve á Cristo, agrada á Dios, y es acepto á los hombres.
For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.
For he who serves Christ in these things is acceptable to God and approved by men.
Así que sigamos el camino de la paz, y busquemos formas de animarnos unos a otros.
Así que, sigamos lo que hace á la paz, y á la edificación de los unos á los otros.
Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.

No destruyas la obra de Dios con discusiones sobre la comida. Todo es limpio, pero estaría mal comer y ofender a otros.
No destruyas la obra de Dios por causa de la comida. Todas las cosas á la verdad son limpias: mas malo es al hombre que come con escándalo.
For meat destroy not the work of God. All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eateth with offence.
Don’t overthrow God’s work for food’s sake. All things indeed are clean, however it is evil for that man who creates a stumbling block by eating.
Es mejor no comer carne, o no beber vino ni nada que pueda ser causa del tropiezo de tu hermano creyente.
Bueno es no comer carne, ni beber vino, ni nada en que tu hermano tropiece, ó se ofenda, ó sea debilitado.
It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak.
It is good to not eat meat, drink wine, nor do anything by which your brother stumbles, is offended, or is made weak.
Lo que tú crees, de manera personal, es algo entre tú y Dios. ¡Cuán felices son los que no se condenan a sí mismos por hacer lo que creen que es correcto!
¿Tienes tú fe? Tenla para contigo delante de Dios. Bienaventurado el que no se condena á sí mismo con lo que aprueba.
Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth.
Do you have faith? Have it to yourself before God. Happy is he who doesn’t judge himself in that which he approves.
Pero si tienes dudas en cuanto a si está bien o mal comer algo, entonces no debes hacerlo, porque no estás convencido de que es correcto. Todo lo que no está basado en la convicción es pecado.
Mas el que hace diferencia, si comiere, es condenado, porque no comió por fe: y todo lo que no es de fe, es pecado.
And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.
But he who doubts is condemned if he eats, because it isn’t of faith; and whatever is not of faith is sin.
