Und wiederum sagt Jesaja: „Es wird sein die Wurzel Isais und der aufsteht, über die Nationen zu herrschen – auf den werden die Nationen hoffen“.

Y otra vez, dice Isaías: Estará la raíz de Jessé, y el que se levantará á regir los Gentiles: los Gentiles esperarán en él.

And again, Esaias saith, There shall be a root of Jesse, and he that shall rise to reign over the Gentiles; in him shall the Gentiles trust.

Again, Isaiah says, “There will be the root of Jesse, he who arises to rule over the Gentiles; in him the Gentiles will hope.”
