Ich befehle euch aber unsere Schwester Phobe, welche ist am Dienste der Gemeinde zu Kenchrea,

ENCOMIÉNDOOS empero á Febe nuestra hermana, la cual es diaconisa de la iglesia que está en Cencreas:

I commend unto you Phebe our sister, which is a servant of the church which is at Cenchrea:

I commend to you Phoebe, our sister, who is a servant of the assembly that is at Cenchreae,

daß ihrsie aufnehmet in dem Herrn, wie sich's ziemet den Heiligen, und tut ihr Beistand in allem Geschafte, darinnen sie euer bedarf. Denn sie hat auch vielen Beistand getan, auch mir selbst.

Que la recibáis en el Señor, como es digno á los santos, y que la ayudéis en cualquiera cosa en que os hubiere menester: porque ella ha ayudado á muchos, y á mí mismo.

That ye receive her in the Lord, as becometh saints, and that ye assist her in whatsoever business she hath need of you: for she hath been a succourer of many, and of myself also.

Ich ermahne aber euch, liebe Bruder, daß ihr aufsehet auf die, die da Zertrennung und Argernis anrichten neben der Lehre, die ihr gelernet habt, und weichet von denselbigen!

Y os ruego hermanos, que miréis los que causan disensiones y escándalos contra la doctrina que vosotros habéis aprendido; y apartaos de ellos.

For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.

nun aber offenbaret, auch kundgemacht durch der Propheten Schriften aus Befehl des ewigen Gottes, den Gehorsam des Glaubens aufzurichten unter alien Heiden:

Mas manifestado ahora, y por las Escrituras de los profetas, según el mandamiento del Dios eterno, declarado á todas las gentes para que obedezcan á la fe;

But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:
